Ever watched two newly high ranking women in a company fight over a man like he was some kind of trophy the winner would take home?

They were at work, it was right to keep their relationship professional but Ashton was not ready for any of that crap.
"Ashton, what are you doing? Let go!" Ariana tried to set herself free from his grasp.
"Is teasing you the only way I can get you to call me by my name?" He asked, tracing his fingers on her neck.
"Just stop it! You have a fianceé, isn't she enough for you" Ariana stopped struggling, it was clearly pointless.
"You keep on going about Claris, enough of that..... I want you" he said, his voice firm.
"Ariana, in this life, the after life, any life to come, you'll always be my woman" those were his last words before he set her free.
Ariana felt her world crumble. She felt suffocated, this man was never going to let her go that easily. She immediately lost appetite, but she had no room to escape and leave it there. He had eyes on her every move.
Gosh! How was she ever going to get out of it

Meanwhile, Claris was in her office. Whenever she remembered how Ariana shared an office with Ashton,how she even kicked her out of it! She felt so pathetic and useless. Ashton didn't even do anything to help her.
He let Ariana insult her like that, she wondered what was so special about Ariana..... she'd been trying to get Ashton's attention in the past four years but he ignored, while Ariana seemed to have his full attention without even realizing it.
Who was she to him? How much did she mean to him?
"That woman....if I don't do anything, she'll take everything I've worked so hard to get in just a blink of an eye" Claris was desperate.
She thought of something, what could she do?
She had to first find out who she really was. Having and looking through the files of all the employees she had in her office, Claris landed on Ariana's file.
The name Ariana sounded so familiar to her, ofcourse! She remembered after she saw the school she went to in college as stated in her resume.
Surprisingly, Claris had also gone to the same college with them, she'd always liked Ashton but his eyes were always on Ariana, he didn't even notice she was ever around although they went to the same classes. He was her first love..... but Ashton's first love and interst were someone else.
The nerve!
She through the file aside like it was trash. The war she was about to start was favouring Ariana....but she wasn't going to give up.

Later that day, Ariana planned to leave Ashton's office, so she could go out for a bit and discuss some matters with her former supervisor.
She grabbed her phone and files ready to leave.
"Sir, please excuse me" she simply said, trying to leave, but it wasn't going to be that easy.
"Where are you going?" Ashton's voice stopped her in her tracks.
"Sir, I'll stop by the Architectural Department, I'll finish your work before today itself, if there is nothing else,I'll go ahead" she didn't even wait for his approval.
This woman
Ashton called in Tobe immediately through the intercom.
"You called for me sir?" Tobe asked.
"The Assistant CEO just left, keep an eye on her for me" he ordered.
Tobe was confused about his boss, he was obsessing over this woman...but if it meant less time of him lashing out at him when he was angry, the better.
"Alright sir" Tobe replied before he went out.

Ariana was on her way to her former department,but she bumped into Claris again.
"So you are Ariana" she said.
"Didn't you already know my name?" Ariana replied head on. She hated Ashton, but despised this woman the more.
"It seems you don't remember me at all Ariana"she replied.
"You were the college Belle, beautiful, had the brains, I was so jealous of you, especially after Ashton chased after like a lovesick puppy, but in the end,it's me who got to have him" Claris added and Ariana let out a laugh.
"What's so funny?" Claris asked.
"You!!!" Ariana replied.
"You never change,still interested in my left overs, you're just my replacement, you saw for yourself, we both know....he only loves me" Ariana added.

"How dare you!" Claris gritted through her teeth.
"I don't care if you two got married, or aren't and are about to, it doesn't matter to me anymore, you'd better watch you say, I'm now your boss...and I won't spare you" Ariana said smirking.

"It's obvious you seduced Ashton, how could he make you Assistant CEO" Claris replied.
These two were obviously fighting.
"So what if I did, Claris, what are you going to do about it?" She asked.. clearly mocking her.
Claris had had enough of her, she was ready to slap her and pull her hair....but Ariana was more than ready for her. She wasn't going to be bullied.
"Easy on the fingers, you'll ruin your expensive manicure" she implied to her nails.

"Let me get married once, you just wait, I'll get you kicked out of here!" Claris replied.
"Are you sure he'll even marry you? Anyway it doesn't really matter, you can be my guest, having Ashton fire me is the best thing you'll have done for me, I'll forever be grateful, please hurry it up" Ariana said lastly, before she walked away from her.... leaving her fuming. She had the last laugh.
Compared to her,Claris was nothing but a rich spoilt brat.
Tobe saw everything that had just happened, Ariana was more impressive than he thought, no wonder his boss was obsessing over her.
She could handle Claris on her own, without having to trouble Ashton.
She made her way to her former department, to her former supervisor's office....but didn't find her there, instead she found her husband.
"Mr Vibbles....is your wife around? I wish to speak to her?" She asked....but this man was a womanizer, he had I'll intentions towards Ariana, he always looked at her in a lustful way.
"My wife went down to the store, I can take you there" the man replied, clearly lying to her.
"Sure" Ariana was so naive, she bluntly followed the man who took her all the way to the store down.
Something was fishy
As soon as Tobe saw this, he called Ashton.
He took her the store and pushed her inside, locking the door behind them.
"Mr Vibbles! What are you doing?" Ariana asked, trying to get away from him but he'd trapped her.
"Today you won't escape....I'll make you mine...." He replied.
What was she going to do?
