Chapter 78 - Chapter 73 (Finale)

Seven years after the fall of Kurogane Atoll, the world finally learned how to live without fear.

The scars of the Singularity Conflict still remained across the planet. Entire coastlines had been permanently reshaped by the final battle against Reiji Garaki, while several nations spent years rebuilding infrastructure destroyed during the global war.

But humanity survived.

And slowly—

humanity healed.

The underground Nomu networks vanished alongside Garaki's death. International hero systems united for the first time in modern history, while research into quirk singularity and artificial evolution became globally prohibited.

Children born after the war learned about Kurogane Atoll through documentaries and history classes instead of emergency evacuation alarms.

People called the battle many things afterward.

The Black Steel War.

The Final Singularity.

Humanity's Last Stand.

But most remembered it by a simpler name.

The Day the Strongest Hero Saved the World.

Izuku Midoriya hated that title.

Because he remembered exactly how close the world came to ending.

He remembered Shibuya.

Virex.

Kurotsuki.

Garaki.

The feeling of dying.

The feeling of losing control.

And the moment All For One placed Genesis back into his hands not as a weapon—

but as a father trusting his son.

Even now, seven years later, Genesis still slept beneath Izuku's skin like a second heartbeat. One For All stabilized it completely over time, but traces of that overwhelming pressure still surfaced occasionally during moments of emotional stress.

Usually when dealing with his children.

Which happened often.

Very often.

The rebuilt Midoriya estate stood near the coastline outside Musutafu, overlooking the ocean from elevated cliffs. The property was enormous, heavily protected, and absurdly overengineered thanks to All For One personally designing most of the security systems.

According to him: "If my grandchildren accidentally destroy part of reality someday, I prefer the house survives."

Nobody was entirely sure he was joking.

"WHO TAUGHT HIM HOW TO DO THAT?!"

Bakugo's furious scream echoed across the estate.

A massive explosion followed immediately afterward.

Izuku sighed while standing on the terrace outside the house.

"…Probably me."

"THAT IS NOT A NORMAL RESPONSE!"

Seven years after saving the world, Izuku Midoriya had somehow discovered something more terrifying than singularity monsters.

Parenting.

Especially because he and his wives somehow ended up with seven children.

Seven.

And every single one inherited something dangerous.

The backyard training field already looked like a battlefield.

One child used compressed air blasts powerful enough to launch Bakugo through reinforced barriers.

Another combined partial invisibility with terrifying stealth instincts inherited from Toru, making her nearly impossible to track even for pro heroes.

Kurohane's twin daughters currently argued over whose manifested energy blades were sharper while accidentally cutting apart training drones nearby.

Mellisia's oldest son inherited traces of Genesis stabilization, causing his body to adapt unnaturally fast during training exercises.

All For One called that: "Extremely promising."

Inko called it: "Absolutely horrifying."

"Dad!"

A small body slammed directly into Izuku's legs.

He looked down instinctively before catching his youngest daughter as she tried climbing him like a tree.

Green-black sparks flickered faintly around her fingers before fading.

Genesis traces.

Izuku still wasn't sure whether that reassured him or terrified him.

"Careful," he said automatically.

"You always say that."

"Because one of you almost explodes something every day."

"That's not our fault."

Bakugo appeared from the destroyed training grounds looking seconds away from complete mental collapse.

"YOUR FIVE-YEAR-OLD JUST USED BLACKWHIP TO STEAL MY GAUNTLET!"

The little girl proudly raised Bakugo's missing equipment.

"I won."

"That is NOT winning!"

Izuku failed to hide his laugh.

Bakugo pointed aggressively.

"YOU ARE THE ENTIRE PROBLEM!"

Nearby, Shoto calmly drank tea while watching the chaos unfold.

"Your blood pressure increases every time you visit," he observed.

"BECAUSE THIS FAMILY IS A NATURAL DISASTER!"

Several children laughed immediately.

The estate itself no longer resembled a peaceful hero residence.

It resembled controlled chaos.

Warm chaos.

Alive chaos.

Toys, hero gear, training equipment, unfinished homework, and partially destroyed drones existed in nearly every room simultaneously. The house was never quiet anymore.

And honestly—

Izuku preferred it that way.

For years after Kurogane Atoll, silence reminded him too much of waiting for disaster.

Now silence barely existed at all.

Inside the estate, Toru watched the children race through the hallways invisibly while trying unsuccessfully to maintain order.

"You know," she said while crossing her arms, "normal families do not require emergency reconstruction crews twice a month."

Izuku looked thoughtful.

"…Maybe once a month?"

"That was not the point."

Mellisia laughed softly nearby while carrying the youngest child against her shoulder.

"I stopped expecting normal years ago."

Kurohane leaned against the kitchen entrance calmly.

"You married him willingly."

"I know."

"That sounds self-destructive."

"It absolutely was," Toru agreed immediately.

Izuku sighed dramatically.

"You all make me sound difficult."

Seven different voices answered simultaneously from different parts of the house.

"You are!"

Even All For One looked mildly amused.

Which remained one of the strangest sights humanity had ever witnessed.

The former Demon King had adapted alarmingly well to becoming a grandfather.

Far too well.

One child climbed directly into his lap while holding a drawing proudly.

"Grandpa, look!"

All For One studied the picture carefully.

"…Why am I breathing fire?"

"Because you look cooler that way."

"…Understandable."

Endeavor nearly choked on his drink from across the room.

Several governments would probably panic if they saw this scene.

The man once feared as the greatest villain in history was currently helping children with homework while arguing with Bakugo over proper combat training methods.

Life was absurd.

Later that evening, the entire family gathered together for dinner while sunset light spilled across the ocean outside the massive windows overlooking the cliffs.

Conversations overlapped constantly.

Children argued over hero rankings.

Bakugo complained loudly about property damage.

Shoto calmly corrected everyone's exaggerations.

Arjun Dev discussed international reconstruction projects with several pro heroes visiting for the week.

Twice somehow continued holding arguments with himself.

And through all of it—

Izuku quietly watched.

Seven years ago he stood above Kurogane Atoll believing the world might end.

Now he was negotiating peace treaties between children fighting over dessert.

Honestly, this felt harder sometimes.

Much later that night, after most of the children finally fell asleep, Izuku stepped outside onto the terrace overlooking the ocean.

The night air felt calm.

Peaceful.

Behind him, warm light and distant laughter still echoed softly through the estate.

No alarms.

No war.

No fear waiting tomorrow.

Only life.

Footsteps approached quietly beside him.

All For One stopped near the railing with his hands in his pockets.

For several moments, neither spoke.

Then the older man glanced back toward the brightly lit estate behind them.

"…Seven children."

Izuku sighed immediately.

"I know."

"That seems excessive."

"You are the last person qualified to judge my life choices."

A faint smirk appeared on All For One's face.

"…Probably true."

Silence settled comfortably between them afterward while ocean waves crashed softly against the cliffs below.

Finally, All For One spoke again.

"You built something remarkable."

Izuku looked back toward the house.

Toward the lights.

The laughter.

The family waiting inside.

Toru.

Mellisia.

Kurohane.

Seven children racing through hallways without fear of tomorrow.

A home built after surviving the end of the world.

And after everything—

after death, war, singularities, monsters, and destiny itself—

Izuku Midoriya smiled quietly beneath the stars.

"Yeah," he said softly.

"I really did."

And for the first time in his life—

the boy who once feared losing everything finally understood what it meant to be at peace.
