And the reason how Nine got the gold coins is from the manhole covers.
13 manholes out of the 24; for every two manholes he opened up and unclogged he got one gold coin, giving him a total of 6 and half of it.
With the exchange rate of gold coins to silver, which is (1G = 132S), giving him the amount of money he has right now.

And the rest of the day would be spent doing what he wants, but before he did these things, Nine decided to go to the market in the west to buy necessary things.

"This place is so lively." Nine remarked, as he stood still in the busy street of the market area.
Though there are many market areas in the town, this place is known for having an actual establishment and not just a stall set beside the streets.
Entering one of the buildings of this market area, Nine found himself smiling at the aisle of clothes before him.
This is the reason for him being here today; right now Nine planned to buy new clothes for him to use.
"Finally I could buy new ones to use. Using the same clothes I had on the first day is so weird, especially since I always took one or two showers back then."
Nine felt disgusted at how he only had one pair of clothing, and with only one of them he had to use the same thing for yesterday as well.
On the first night of him being in this world, Nine could only wipe himself with a bin of water and a towel to clean himself.
Which he did not feel clean at all after he did so. To be precise, he felt more dirtier than before after he did so.
Quickly doing his business in this place, Nine bought five pieces of pants and long-sleeve shirts, each costing 2 silver coins.
Then ten pieces of underpants worth one silver coin each. Costing him a total amount of 30 silver coins for this alone.
With the lantern oil gone from him, Nine still had a empty space to put the clothes in there. So right now, Nine black string bracelet have three things on it.
The hammer, his money, and finally clothes on it.
With his business here done, Nine made his way to the bathhouse near the succubus brothel of the town and paid three silver coins for the entry.
As his first actual bath in this world, Nine spent over an hour soaking himself in the hot springs water of the house before thoroughly cleaning himself with the soap and towel.

Leaving the bathing area, Nine made his way to the main hall of this bathhouse wearing a robe.

Since he had spent hours in this place, Nine decided to let the steam off him first before moving on, in fear that he might suddenly pass out in the open street.
Sitting down on one of the chairs in the main hall, Nine started rubbing himself; he felt his skin softer than before.
'Does the bath water here have effects?' Nine thought, summoning his status window.
'I don't see anything here. Guess this place is just magical without an actual effect.'
With his status window being the same, Nine closed his eyes as he waited for his body to cool down.
"Sir. Sir!" Nine heard someone calling out another person "sir" in his surroundings.
Ignoring the call, thinking the man was calling out another person, he rested his back on the wall.
"Sir!" With the loud voice calling out to him in front of him, Nine opened his eyes and found a man wearing the same uniform as the lady in the front table.
"Yes?" Nine said.
"Sorry for that. Earlier when you left the bath area, I found you stretching your body. So I thought you might enjoy the house massage features over there." The man with black hair said, pointing at one of the rooms.
Understanding the offer being given to him, Nine asked: "How much?"
"None. This is already part of the house features. Also we would be pleased if you recommend this to the others..... Since no one really wants to take it on." The man's voice was getting weaker as he continued:
"It's been two months since we had this and we still had no one take the offer. The owner of the house is getting annoyed, thinking she wasted money in offering money for the worker doing the massage."

But the moment the elf started, Nine felt immense pleasure from the massage before falling asleep.
And the moment he woke up, he found people taking the massage around him.
Because he had fallen asleep because of the massage, other people saw this and wanted to try it out.
Before he left the bathhouse, Nine was given three bars of soap as a way to thank him for taking the offer that convince the other to go take on for themselves.
With this, Nine did what he needed to do for the day. He bought new clothes to use. Took proper care of his body, even got free soaps for it.
