The bearded man stood at the edge of the ruined tunnel, staring at the Lord of Seduction. She smirked beneath the moonlight.
"Well, well," she purred. "A gopher crawling out of his hole."
He dusted himself off, voice calm and cutting. "I thought queens were supposed to be beautiful. All I see is a woman past her prime, clinging to youth."
Steve's voice echoed inside him. "Old man, that's one way to piss off a lady." "I've never been good with women," the bearded man replied. "I can tell."
The Lord of Seduction screamed, her arms morphing into serpents that lashed out and wrapped around him. But then eruption. His silver-white aura flared, eyes glowing, voice layered with Steve's.
She recoiled.
Steve spoke through him. "Let's see what you've got, you beautiful chaos."
He launched forward, aiming a high kick but she dodged, countered, and tried to ensnare him again. Steve twisted, dodging with supernatural speed.
"Hold still, loser!" she snarled. Steve leapt into the air, formed a gun shape with his hand, and fired six energy shots each one landing. She staggered and felt the blow of energy making contact with her flesh.
Then he blurred forward, landing body shots and a brutal spinning kick to her head. She crashed to the ground.
As he prepared to finish her boom. A punch sent him flying into a tree. He groaned, looked up.
Lucifer. The demon king stood tall, arm outstretched toward his ally. "My love," the Lord of Seduction gasped. "I was caught off guard."
Lucifer raised a hand. "It's alright, my heart. I'll hurt those who hurt you." She trembled, eyes soft with devotion.
Steve coughed. "Sorry to interrupt your honeymoon." He rushed Lucifer, striking fast but Lucifer dodged with ease, graceful and untouchable.
"He's quick," Steve thought.
He unleashed a flurry of combos punch, kick, punch, kick but Lucifer blocked or evaded every strike. Then cheap shot. The demon queen struck Steve from behind, sending him stumbling.
She attacked viciously, her snake-arm biting into his neck. Steve roared, grabbed the serpent, and hurled her into a tree.
Lucifer stepped forward, one arm raised, the other behind his back.
They clashed Steve striking with relentless speed, Lucifer dodging like a shadow. Then chop. Lucifer struck Steve's neck, paralyzing him momentarily.
In a blur, Lucifer landed ten blows and sent Steve crashing into another tree. Steve groaned, looked up and saw the demon queen transforming.
A giant Medusa-like serpent, eyes blazing with fury. Lucifer smiled. "You are powerful, my beautiful queen."
She hissed, voice trembling with love. "I'll bring you this cowboy's head, my love." Steve blinked, bruised and breathless.
"Yeah… this is gonna take a while."
