In Beijing's main military base, one after another Blackbirds began to land. These were transporters that were bringing resources for military expansions.
Though the most insane thing for the newcomers was that these planes came from outer space.
If anyone had this doubt that Marcus couldn't fulfil his dream of space travel, then this is proof big enough.
"...These… from where are they coming from?" Li Xingke asked Marcus as the Chinese soldiers joined the Exiled Prince.
"Earth's orbit. I have refineries and factories in space that are assisting me with logistics.
Though it will take a while for food to get sent down, weapons, armours or Mobile Suits are something that can get sent down." The Inventor explained to him.
"..." The man looked at the Prince for a second. He was more than surprised by this revelation.
"Do you think that I lied to you?" The Exiled Prince showed Li Xingke a similar smile to the one he got at their first meeting.
"...It would seem I have underestimated you."
"I thought that the machines I have made were good enough. But I suppose a trip to space could fix that mentality."
"No need, I saw enough." Li Xingke shook his head.
"Good then, we can start with what I need from you guys."
Moments later, transporters landed and revealed Setantas.
The machines walked out by themselves before the transporters left once more.
"You will assist Cornelia and her two brigades to conquer the fractured Federation. We already conquered sections of Indonesia.
It will only leave India, where two armies will meet and do a pincer move.
Our goal is rapid expansion and consolidation.
That is, until Britannia catches up to us in technology to some extent."
"...You mean to say that Britannia could catch up to this?" Li Xingke was a bit baffled!
"They got wreckage of three of my recently created mass production models.
However, they don't have the technology of my mass-produced commander models or the KK-units you fought.
There are layers to my technology, but I am preparing for the worst."
"...Worst? What is for someone like you the worst?" The guy asked the Inventor Prince.
"We could lose all of our land and move to space for regrouping." Marcus looked at him and honestly replied.
"..."
"..."
The newly joined military personnel were baffled to hear such language terms. Did they flip to a new world, of some sort? When did space become so easily accessible?
"I see… show me how these units are controlled."
The Chinese military snapped out and moved towards what they knew.
"I will take over from here." Cornelia finally joined as she walked over alongside her men.
"...Princess Cornelia." Li Xingke was surprised a bit to see her in the flesh. It's a bit surprising that the infamous Witch of Britannia was part of this wild faction.
"My brother's dreams are a bit… wild. But he is a good person at heart, even with his quirks." The Princess smiled while looking at Marcus.
"I love you too, sister." The Exiled Princess sarcastically replied.
"I leave military stuff to you." He said to her before looking at Li Xingke.
"We will speak later about your customised machine… and that health condition of yours." With that said, he walked away.
The Chinese swordsman was surprised that Marcus already knew about his disease.
But then again… with all this tech… the Prince has his ways.
"Health condition?" Cornelia was surprised to hear that as well.
"Don't worry, it won't interfere with the upcoming conflict." Li Xingke reassured the Princess.
"...If you say so." She wasn't sure…
~~~~~~Later~~~~~~
Marcus returned to Solomon Islands. Not that his stay was long, as Kaguya, with a group of soldiers, found him about to enter his workshop.
"My Prince~~ Hokkaido is secured, we should visit it! The 1st battalion can be used somewhere else." The black haired Sumeragi princess suggested with a wink.
Her suggestion was on the spot. She wants to hit two birds with one stone with this scheme.
"...Sure… though how do you bypass all of the security all the time?" He asked, a bit confused.
His question confused her. The girl moved her head to the side.
"Why do you ask? After all, I am part of Anaheim! HR and communications! I am responsible for PR, so of course I would have access to our glorious leader!" The girl, shamelessly, with a straight face, called him Glorious Leader.
Making him remember that he can't continuously call himself CEO when he runs a considerable amount of land already.
It has only been less than a week and he already has around 70% of Indonesia, the whole of Japan and a bit of China.
He doubts there is a CEO who has this much land.
"...We need to debate on my title, calling myself 'Glorious Leader' makes me think that I am a prophet of some sort of cult," Marcus replied with a grimace.
"Why not? You ARE a prophet! Prophet for humanity's last frontier." Kaguya smiled while saying that.
"...Don't play such games, Kaguya. It feels a bit creepy. I already saw how people look at me in China." The Exiled Prince felt a bit uncomfortable.
"Hehe, that's what happens when you pull such a thing, my Prince. You do know that you offered something to people, at a critical time, and your Mobile Suits are here to keep that miracle alive."
Shen she put it like that, the Inventor Prince realised that, regardless of circumstances and timeline, he couldn't escape his moniker of 'miracle maker'.
Only this time, his mobile suits are what are making these miracles, not Geass.
"Hmm, whatever you say, Kaguya. Now, let's go and see what Hokkaido looks like."
All Marcus can remember about the island is that it is full of snow in winter and is quite wild compared to other islands in the archipelago.
"Let's go~!" The girl hugged his hand as she began to hum. The duo were followed by a small escort of soldiers. They were dressed in the standard black tactical gear, but they had an extra single-shoulder cloak for a more fancy look.
~~~
"These smaller planes are so comfortable! Can I have one?" Kaguya commented as they boarded a new type of transporter.
This plane was a much smaller one, meant for around twenty people. The design is similar, but not cylindrical in shape, unlike the regular planes.
That's because Marcus took the body shape to look similar to those Lambda-Class shuttles used in Star Wars, only that the wings were similar to his blackbird planes.
Though he kept this rectangular body shape, having that fancy ramp could lower like in the movies. The wings made sure to seamlessly attach to the plane's body.
This is so that the plane wouldn't look like a flying box with two wings and a tail.
In fact, it became so nice that Kaguya wants one for her transportation.
"We can arrange one." He nonchalantly replied; his mind wasn't there. The Prince was thinking about his conquest—the acquisition of Beijing and the current expansion of Indonesia.
The number of islands they have is mind-boggling.
And adding them one by one could be a pain in the ass. Thankfully, in this war against the Chinese Federation, they have the 'moral' high ground.
So the islands join him by themselves; the issue is keeping track of it.
He wasn't planning the war to happen so spontaneously, now he needs to play a catch-up game and develop some sort of logistics programs to assist with management.
"You can! You are so amazing, my Prince! If you keep spoiling me, I won't be able to marry anyone but you."
Marcus looked at her, rolling his eyes for a second.
"There is no need to be so dramatic." He replied with a sigh.
Kaguya puffed her cheeks. His reply was not what she wanted to hear!
"I am not!"
The girl complained, but Marcus shook his head at her.
"You do realise that…my female companions… are a considerable amount."
She quickly smiled when she heard that.
"Heh. Not a problem, Japan's emperors of old and even your father have multiple consorts!"
For a second, he looked at her. He was in a bit of disbelief. This girl is different.
He knows that regardless of what, a living being will feel jealousy, so what kind of form of jealousy will this strange girl feel?
"You are one strange girl to accept such an arrangement without a fuss," Marcus commented after a few moments of looking at her.
"Oh, don't worry, I do feel jealousy~." All of a sudden, Kaguya got closer. She pulled herself closer to him, thinking of sitting on his lap, like how she saw Leila do.
"But~ I do know that I CAN'T keep you to myself." The girl sighed in resignation.
"Is that so?" Marcus replied, looking at what she was trying to do.
All of a sudden, he pulled her and got her to his lap. The Sumeragi Princess was surprised for a second before smiling smugly.
It would seem she scored here big.
"...hmm… You feel like a hug pillow, not bad." Marcus commented that the girl wasn't the biggest one.
"Hmph!"
The pair continued to speak random things as the smaller transport plane moved out of the hangar and into the runway before blasting into the sky. The transporter was followed by Tiranis, which joined them soon when the AI noticed that Marcus had left.
~~~~~~Later, in Hokkaido~~~~~~
A pair of girls with black hair and purple eyes looked with awe at a selection of machines they had never seen before.
One of them especially stood out. With its design and all the flashy lights, they had one idea what it was.
"...Saku, what are these people?" The friendlier girl asked the other.
"No idea… but father said this was a corporation created by my uncle." The girl by the name Sakuya replied.
All of this was confusing to her. Before this, her life was normal. From time to time, she would see strange gazes from her bodyguards.
Like they didn't like her…
"This is Anaheim. It's a corporation that focuses on robotics. Or at least they were… until they revealed that they want to explore space and unite all of humanity so that we could focus on exploring other worlds." A teenage girl with curly orange hair explained to the pair of girls.
This was Natalia Luxembourg, Sakuya's caretaker and big sister/mother figure.
"...other worlds?" The pair were confused; this was a bit too much for them. Considering they were just 10 years old.
"When you look at the sky at nighttime and you see stars, did you know that each and every one of them could be a new world?"
Their eyes widened when the girl explained to them. Her simple sentence piqued their interests…
With these powerful-looking machines and this new corporation…
One could say that this new reveal has had a huge impact on them!
The secluded life doesn't help either.
~~~
"It may sound strange, but I finally met a brother-in-law." Marcus, with a smile, spoke to a man before him.
He was in his late twenties to early thirties. Dressed in a suit with classic Japanese black hair and blue eyes.
"I wasn't expecting to meet another Britannian Prince either." The man smiled back before looking at Kaguya, who was standing next to the Exiled Prince.
He didn't need to be a genius to know what this girl was thinking.
"True… considering how remote this place is… I doubt any of my pompous siblings would visit here." Marcus replied while rubbing his hands. He was feeling cold, and he just left his shuttle!
"Hahaha, you get used to this cold! Eventually." The man joked before motioning for him to follow.
Marcus and Kaguya followed him, and they were followed by several knights.
'I do not doubt that these pureblood Britannians hate to obey a Japanese and his half-blood daughter.' Marcus thought to himself as he could feel these two redheads hated the guts that they needed to follow Jugo Sumeragi and his daughter, Sakuya Sumeragi.
All of that because the girl's mother was an Imperial Princess.
