The three warships arrived at the world's biggest wasteland. There was endless snow in all directions. Thankfully, there were some mountains in the distance, but even then, these mountains were covered by layers of snow.
"We have arrived at the given coordinates." The ship's pilot said to the officers.
The GPS was showing the exact location. The AI confirm.
"We are exactly above the supposed city, My Prince," Cecile said as she was operating one of the consoles.
"I see, then first we will mark the city boundaries, before beginning digging operations." The Inventor Prince said to his crew.
"...You want to dig the whole city out?" Kallen asked with wide eyes.
"And we have the equipment." He replied to her.
"...Yes… but…this is huge undertaking…" She looked through the window… it was ice…and snow…even more ice and snow…
"And you have the world's most advanced mobile suit."
"I don't think my Dagda is built for this." The crimson-haired girl complained with crossed arms.
"Nothing a shovel can't fix." He grinned at her.
"..."
The girl stopped complaining because she got the feeling that he was serious.
"First, we should mark the area as Marcus said." Leila joined the conversation as she began to explain." I have requested some basic technology for sub-zero temperatures.
The manufacturing plants aboard the SWORD stations are already working on them. We should get them soon."
"That was quick. But that's given how quickly those things get done." Anna nodded, she loves the efficiency when it comes to equipment. This is leagues better than in the EU's bureaucracy-ridden supply chains.
"Yes. For now, get into your winter gear. Time to test them."
"..."
"..."
"..."
The whole group lost a bit of motivation when they heard that. Lloyd and the rest got used to eternal summer clothing! Shorts and a Hawaiian shirt were the go-to clothes for the nerd!

Marcus got into his Tiranis as the console began to boot up. He needed to recalibrate some of the systems before the mech got loaded into the fresh catapult deck.
Before him, the tunnel lit up, and blue lights dotted the launch pad.
"KK-01/DA01 Tiranis to the catapult deck." Launching the catapult, the deck officer spoke through the comms as the mobile suit was moved by magnetic robotic hands. Once the feet clicked into the catapult deck, the deck closed behind the mobile suit.
The traffic lights switched from red to yellow before they changed to green.
"My Prince, you are ready to launch."
"Then let's not waste time. Ancient city awaits." Marcus moved one of the levers forward before pressing one of the pedals as the mech blasted out from the carrier.
After him, another KK unit was loaded.
The Prince looked at the world that was in eternal day at the moment. It was bright and white everywhere.
Thankfully, his AI was tracking him closely, and he knew where he was; otherwise, it would be a pain in the ass to orient in such brutal conditions.
"I feel cold just by looking through the monitors," Kallen commented as her image appeared on the side of his screen.
"Hahaha. Thankfully, I installed top-tier conditioning units in our machines." Marcus replied to her.
The group split up to find boundaries before marking with prepared rods. These rods are navigation points.
"We will still need to dig more as this is a simple city boundary." Leila's imagination popped up on the screen as she showed another map of how she designed an actual base.
"I have based this on Britannian and EU Arctic-style research base." It was a base built on rods, elevated above ground level.
It was a good design, as where they are is where snow is quite thick, around a kilometre above ground.
"We do need to consider that ice melts and the surface can change." Anna and Nina popped on screen. The girls were inside the cosy warship running the computers.
"I propose a mobile base! With caterpillar wheels!" Lloyd popped up all of a sudden on the screen.
"That could be a solution, but I say that one is after." Anna agreed with him.
"Don't encourage him, Miss Anna!" Cecile popped in next, worried that this could lead to something.
"We do need mobile bases for colonisation purposes. There is an array of planets that require such a thing." The nerdy pinkette was right, as Cecile calmed down and Lloyd sagely nodded as he was ready to propose a mobile city that had huge artillery cannons… for some reason…
"First pillars incoming."
Marcus interrupted their chit chat as rods from the sky were falling down.
The spike-like objects reverse thrusted to decrease the falling speed before smoothly striking the icy ground.
The rods, upon impact, began to dig into the ground. Marcus watched the whole event closely, making sure it was done properly.
"First pillar secured." The Prince confirmed before flying away to the next one.
As he did that, more pillars began to descend. Marcus, Kallen, Leila, Suzaku, Jeanne and the rest of the Setanta pilots made sure everything was working properly.
Before long, Legion had the entire city's boundary marked and ready for excavation.
After the pillars, the Arctic version of Legion Bots, followed by mobile workers, were delivered by Black Bird carrier versions.
In a matter of moments, the digging has begun.
Some of the pilots even decided to explore the outside as they had never been to the South Pole. That's quite a rarity.
~~~~~~A Bit Later~~~~~~
The work on excavating the city from tons of ice began almost immediately as the Legion Bots and Mobile Workers began to dig and melt the ice away.
Some ideas were swiftly suggested. The ice is water, and water is a rare commodity in space. So the scientists on the expedition began to design means to transport ice.
The easiest way was containers, which will be magnetically attached to the black bird transporters.
The Ion thrusters will be slightly redesigned so they can lift off with such a cargo.
Thankfully, the Ion Thrusters are capable of lifting such a cargo; the challenge was to make the process smooth and ensure that the ice wouldn't melt or be affected in any way.
"The issue is magnetism. We need a specific lock that could easily lock in place and release the container." Lloyd suggested as he showed his initial designs for ice block pick up.
It wasn't rocket science by Anaheim's standards; it's more or less something they needed for a while now.
These containers are similar to the cargo ships that carry hundreds of these.
Now they are going to redefine this cargo-carrying technology that they will use in the future.
Magnetism to lock them up in place, lock several together and then move them.
Such tech will be perfect in space, and now they can test it out in preparation for space life.
"We can specifically create such metal with Nano-Metal weaving."
Marcus pulled up the configuration settings for Nano-Metal weaving.
"This is indeed a good solution, though the scale we want… those take a while to make."
The Inventor nodded. The Nano-Metal takes a long time to make because it's woven at an atomic level, and it takes ages even to produce a single KK-Unit.
So to make something like mass use on containers… it would be very time-consuming.
"Indeed."
While the suggestion was an easy way out, it would be a weak point in his technology security.
So they needed something, and that is a new alloy, most likely a mix of sakuradite and a metal that is strong and capable of magnetism.
Before long, the nerdy girls began to post their solutions to this issue.
This is what Marcus liked: a group of scientists, a think tank that makes technological advancement grow like trees!
~~~
"S-So cold!" Kallen sneaked into the newly built Arctic base, it was a selection of container-like buildings that were connected via elastic corridors.
It was Anna's idea for temporary housing, in worlds that they want to colonise, bases that are easy to deliver and remove.
Testing it at the South Pole was a perfect opportunity. She immediately offered after realising that she could test them out!
Marcus was one of the first to utilise it. He turned it into a temporary workshop.
His girls followed after him. Though Lloyd, Cecile, Anna, and Nina didn't stay for long, as they have a huge amount of work, and staying at the South Pole is not ideal.
"Get some hot chocolate." Marcus offered to her as she turned around and looked at Kallen, who removed the thick custom winter coat made for the South Pole.
"Thanks!" The girl walked over and took the offered cup.
The girl sipped the hot drink before placing it on the table.
The Prince then pulled her into his lap as he began to cuddle her. The pair ended up in quite an intimate situation as they were face-to-face.
Kallen's cheeks heated up as she looked at him. This was not what she expected.
"...Umm…" The crimson-haired girl looked to the side as she was feeling quite embarrassed.
"What?" He slowly stood up as his hands went to her legs. He made them wrap around his waist.
"...We are in the middle of nowhere, in a very cold place…what are you thinking?" She asked him, quite nervously. There are Leila and Jeanne who could enter at any time.
"I think it's the best place for an intimate situation." He whispered as he began to walk towards the private quarters with her in his hands.
"...Still…"
"Besides, didn't Leila ask when you would get serious?" He asked curiously, making her blush even more before she got this serious look.
"Fine. You asked for it!" All of a sudden, she smacked her lips on his and began to kiss him in heated passion.
Marcus kissed her back, and soon enough, they got into it. Slowly, he took her into a container that had been converted into living quarters.
Once there, he lay her in a bed and continued to kiss. Slowly, she began to rub herself against him as she started to feel hot.
However, they needed to breathe, so the kiss had to end.
"...Haah… was it good enough?" She asked him, her eyes were a bit glassy.
The Inventor looked at her. The beauty looked sexy and ready for more.
"Indeed~ but let's continue~~ I need to run some 'experiments'." His hands went to her clothes as he began to undress her.
"Heh, you nerdy types." The girl 'complained' as she joined him, as she was forcefully removing his winter clothes.
The clothes ended up on the floor as the pair got back into kissing and became quite touchy, as before long Kallen rubbed her special at Marcus' hard rod.
Her gaze told him that she was very needy and ready for more.
"C'mon…let's do it~~~" She moved her hips even more, wanting his tool inside of her.
Marcus didn't say a thing as he pushed forward, and his cock began to sink into her pure cave.
"Nhhnn~~ Yes~~~" Kallen hotly moaned for a second as she then grimaced for a moment as she felt pain wash over her.
The Prince didn't hesitate as he moved forward and got fully inside of her. His hands then went to her waist as he bit and picked her up, and then began to move.
The girl's eyes slightly widened as she felt pain, but then an avalanche of pleasure as Marcus began to thrust into her special place.
"Ohhhh~~ what is thisss~~~"
The Inventor didn't hesitate to abuse his powers when it came to these special moments, as he immediately found the angle that gave her the most pleasure.
"Mhhhnmn~~~~"
"Ohhhh~~~"
"Nhhhhnn~~~"
Kallen's special place began to drip excess love juices as her body was sweaty; she couldn't control her voice anymore.
Her eyes were misty, full of passion as she lost herself in this act.
As Marcus felt that he was close to his release, she pulled her over, and the crimson-haired beauty wrapped her hands around his neck and legs around his waist, ready to take his seed.
The Prince accelerated his movement before releasing his load into her eagerly awaiting womb.
"Mhhnnnn~~~~"
