Tanjiro notices Inosuke's stare and offers him a piece.
"Here, Inosuke. You can have some of mine."
Inosuke snatches it greedily.
"THANKS, TANJIRO! YOU'RE THE BEST!"
Sanemi rolls his eyes at Inosuke's antics.
"Always eating like a pig..."
Inosuke mouth full of food.
"I'M NOT A PIG! I'M A BEAST!"
Giyuu chuckles again, finding the scene entertaining.
"A very messy beast."
Inosuke's face is covered in sauce and bits of meat, while Nezuko tries to wipe his face with a napkin. Sanemi grins at Inosuke's mess.
"Yeah, a beast who can't even eat properly."
He looks at his watch and realizes they've been out for a while.
"We should probably head back soon. It's getting late."
Tanjiro nods in agreement.
"You're right, Mr. Shinazugawa. We don't want to miss the fireworks display later." Giyuu finishes his last skewer.
"The fireworks are at 8. We should hurry when we want to do more activities."
Sanemi starts walking towards the festival grounds.
"Let's go, before Inosuke eats everything else in sight."
The group follows him, with Inosuke still protesting about being called a beast while Nezuko keeps trying to clean him up. As they walk, Giyuu subtly moves closer to Sanemi again, brushing their shoulders together.
Sanemi feels the contact and shoots Giyuu a warning glare, but doesn't pull away this time. Tanjiro observes them curiously but says nothing, holding Nezuko's hand. Muichiro and Genya walk hand in hand behind them. Genya is Smiling when Inosuke take his hand too.
Sanemi notices Genya holding hands with Muichiro and Inosuke, and his expression darkens slightly. Sanemi mutters to himself.
"Great, now there's two of them..."
Giyuu smirks at Sanemi's jealousy.
"Your brother looks happy, Sanemi."
Sanemi glares at Giyuu again.
"Shut up. I'm not jealous."
Giyuu smirks wider.
"Sure you're not. You're practically fuming."
Sanemi grits his teeth and glares at him.
"I'm not fuming. I just don't like seeing my little brother being all mushy with that Tokito kid."
Genya hears them and turns around, still holding hands with Muichiro and Inosuke.
"We're just holding hands, Aniki. Calm down."
"What if we split? It would be fun, right Sanemi? They are all old enough to take care of themselves."
"Okay maybe not Inosuke. But Genya and Muichiro will take good care."
Sanemi looks between Giyuu and the kids, considering the suggestion.
"Fine. But if anything happens to Genya or Inosuke, I'm blaming you."
Giyuu nods.
"I'll take responsibility. Let's meet up by the main stage in an hour."
The group splits, with Genya, Muichiro, and Inosuke heading towards a game booth while Tanjiro and Nezuko explore another area. Once they're alone, Giyuu takes Sanemi's hand and leads him to a quieter part of the festival. Giyuu smiles softly
"Finally, some peace and quiet."
Sanemi tries to pull his hand away but fails. Giyuu keeps holding on, his grip firm but gentle.
"You're being awfully clingy today, Giyuu. What's with you?"
"Can't I just enjoy being with you without an ulterior motive?"
Sanemi sighs and gives up resisting, but his cheeks are pink again.
"You're so annoying... But I guess I don't mind it as much as I should."
Giyuu smiles wider, clearly pleased with Sanemi's admission.
"That's a confession if I ever heard one."
They walk past a stall selling masks, and Giyuu stops to look at a fox mask. Sanemi notices Giyuu's interest in the mask.
"You want that? It looks stupid."
Giyuu picks up the mask and puts it on, turning to Sanemi with a playful expression.
"I think it suits me."
Sanemi stares at Giyuu with the mask on, his heart skipping a beat.
"Damn it... You look..."
Giyuu tilts his head, waiting for Sanemi to finish.
"I look what?"
Sanemi quickly looks away, embarrassed.
Never mind. Just take it off, we need to keep moving."
Giyuu chuckles and removes the mask, but keeps it in his hand.
"You're so easy to fluster, Sanemi. It's adorable."
Sanemi snaps his head back to glare at Giyuu.
"I'm not adorable! I'm a grown man!"
Giyuu steps closer, invading Sanemi's personal space again.
"A very cute grown man."
Sanemi backs up against a nearby tree, trapped between Giyuu and the trunk.
"Stop saying things like that! People might hear you! And here I thought you would tease me to death, but now."
Sanemi flustered and cornered, his breathing quickens.
"I-I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not teasing you."
Giyuu places his hands on either side of Sanemi's head, effectively trapping him.
"You're the one who always starts it. Remember this morning?"
Sanemi grab Giyuu's arm and walk to a near forest. He is looking angry. Giyuu follows Sanemi with an amused expression, letting himself be dragged into the forest.
"Someone's getting feisty."
The trees provide cover from the festival lights, creating a more intimate atmosphere. Once they're deep enough into the forest, Sanemi pushes Giyuu against a tree and pins him there.
"Shut up, Giyuu. You're really pissing me off."
Giyuu smirks and leans into Sanemi's hold.
"Is that so? Then why are you blushing so much, Sanemi?"
Sanemi growls in frustration, his face inches from Giyuu's.
"I am not blushing because of you! It's just... it's hot out here."
Giyuu whispers, his breath tickling Sanemi's ear.
"Liar. You're burning up because of me."
The sounds of the festival fade away, leaving only the rustling of leaves and their heavy breathing. Sanemi his grip on Giyuu tightens, his eyes darkening with desire.
"You're impossible... I can't stand you."
Giyuu leans closer, his lips brushing against Sanemi's jaw.
"Yet here you are, holding me like this."
"Shut up and down be so cocky. Hey don't you dare to top me!"
Giyuu laughs softly, wrapping his arms around Sanemi's waist.
"Who said I was going to top? I just like seeing you lose control."
Sanemi grits his teeth, clearly conflicted between his pride and his obvious attraction to Giyuu.
"You're driving me insane, Tomioka."
Giyuu pulls Sanemi closer, their bodies pressed together.
"Good. That's exactly what I want."
Sanemi gives in and kisses Giyuu roughly, all his pent-up frustration and desire pouring into the kiss. Giyuu kisses back just as fiercely, one hand tangling in Sanemi's white hair while the other slides under his shirt.
The forest becomes their secret hideaway as they make out against the tree, the festival's distant music becoming a mere background melody.
Sanemi moans softly into the kiss, his body responding eagerly to Giyuu's touch.
Giyuu pulls away for a moment to catch his breath, his lips swollen and eyes glazed with lust
"You taste even better than I imagined."
