Sanemi shoots Giyuu a warning look before forcing a smile.
"Yeah, just tired. What's for breakfast, Nezuko?"
He asks, sitting down carefully at the table while trying to ignore the knowing grins from Genya and Muichiro. Nezuko beams and shows off the pancakes she made.
"I made everyone's favorite! Extra fluffy for Sanemi-san."
Tanjiro chuckles and whispers to Genya.
"He's definitely not just tired."
Sanemi shoots Tanjiro a death glare while Genya snickers into his food.
"Shut up, Tanjiro. I'm going to kill you."
Giyuu takes his seat beside Sanemi, serving him a plate of pancakes. The day passes with the family enjoying their weekend together. Sanemi struggles to hide his discomfort while Giyuu keeps a protective eye on him. Nezuko, Tanjiro, and Muichiro tease Sanemi mercilessly about his condition, while Genya and Giyuu try to maintain some semblance of order. It's October 31st, Halloween night. The house is decorated with pumpkins and cobwebs.
"I can't believe Tengen is throwing a birthday party for himself on Halloween. That flashy bastard."
He grumbles, watching as Nezuko and Tanjiro finish getting ready in their costumes. Giyuu is dressed in a simple vampire costume, complete with fake fangs.
"At least it'll be entertaining. Tengen always goes all out."
He adjusts his cape and helps Sanemi up from the couch.
"Yeah, and I'm stuck with you vampires."
He says, eyeing Giyuu's costume with mild annoyance. Sanemi is dressed as a werewolf, complete with a furry headband and fake claws.
"This is ridiculous. I look like a cheap Halloween decoration."
He growls, adjusting his costume while trying to maintain his dignity. Giyuu smirks at Sanemi's comment, admiring how the costume fits him.
"You look adorable. Like a grumpy little puppy."
He teases, earning a playful swat from Sanemi.
"I'll show you adorable when I rip that cape off you."
The family heads to Tengen's party at his flashy mansion, where the music is already blasting.
"Welcome to my Halloween bash, you weirdos! And look who's here - the angry wolf and his bloodsucker!"
Tengen greets them in an extravagant DJ outfit. Rengoku waves enthusiastically from beside Tengen, dressed as a flaming firefighter.
"Sanemi! Giyuu! Come join the fun!"
Tengen's wives are scattered around the party, each dressed in their own unique costumes - Suma as a mermaid, Makio as a witch, and Hinatsuru as a devil. Nezuko, Tanjiro, Muichiro, and Genya immediately scatter into the crowd of partygoers.
"Let them burn off some energy! The dance floor is calling their names!"
He winks at Sanemi and Giyuu, who watch as their kids disappear into the sea of costumes. Giyuu wraps an arm around Sanemi's waist, keeping him close as they navigate through the party.
"Let's get something to drink. I need to relax before dealing with Tengen's antics."
The music gets louder, and people start dancing wildly around them. Sanemi spots a bar set up in the corner, filled with various Halloween-themed drinks.
"Finally, something good. I need something strong after this morning."
He mutters, leading Giyuu toward the bar while trying to avoid bumping into anyone. The bartender, dressed as a zombie, takes their order.
"What can I get for the werewolf and vampire?"
Sanemi orders a whiskey on the rocks while Giyuu asks for a Bloody Mary. As they wait for their drinks, Tengen approaches with a microphone in hand.
"Time for the costume contest! And I see two very interesting pairs already!"
He gestures to Sanemi and Giyuu, clearly intending to embarrass them in front of everyone.
"No way in hell am I participating in that. I'm not some circus attraction."
He growls, taking his drink from the bartender and downing it in one go.
"Tengen, we're just here to enjoy your party. Leave us out of your games."
Giyuu says calmly, sipping his drink while maintaining eye contact with Tengen.
Nezuko is dressed as a cute witch, Tanjiro as a ghost, Muichiro as a ghost samurai, and Genya as a zombie.
"Oh come on! Your kids would make adorable contestants!"
He pouts dramatically, but the mention of the kids catches Sanemi's attention. Sanemi's protective instincts kick in, and he glances around for the kids.
"Where are they? They better not be causing trouble."
He looks worried, his eyes scanning the dance floor. Tengen laughs heartily.
"Relax, they're probably just dancing. They're teenagers after all!"
Sanemi's grip tightens on his empty glass, his expression darkening.
"Exactly why I should keep an eye on them. They're too young to be partying like this."
Giyuu places a reassuring hand on Sanemi's shoulder, sensing his tension.
"Let them have fun, love. They're with friends."
He tries to soothe him, but Sanemi remains visibly agitated. Tengen notices the tension and decides to change the subject.
"Fine, fine! I'll let it go. But you two should definitely dance! It's a party after all!"
He grins mischievously, winking at Giyuu. Sanemi scoffs at the suggestion, but Giyuu surprisingly smiles.
"I wouldn't mind a dance with my werewolf."
He sets his drink down and extends his hand to Sanemi, who looks taken aback by the boldness. Sanemi hesitates, his face turning slightly red despite his tough exterior.
"You're really going to embarrass me, aren't you?"
He mutters, but there's a hint of playfulness in his tone as he takes Giyuu's hand. Sanemi pulls Giyuu onto the dance floor, his hand firmly gripping Giyuu's waist.
"Just don't step on my feet, vampire."
He starts moving to the beat, surprising everyone with his surprisingly smooth dance moves. Giyuu follows Sanemi's lead effortlessly, his stoic expression breaking into a rare smile as they dance.
"You're full of surprises, Sanemi."
Their bodies move closer together, the music drowning out the party noise around them.
Sanemi smirks, enjoying the way Giyuu looks at him as they dance.
"I'm full of a lot of things, but surprises
aren't usually on that list."
He spins Giyuu around, then pulls him back against his chest possessively. Giyuu's eyes flash with desire at the possessive gesture, his arms wrapping around Sanemi's neck.
"You're showing off."
He whispers, their faces inches apart as they continue dancing intimately. Sanemi leans in closer, his breath hot against Giyuu's ear.
"Maybe I want to show everyone who you belong to."
His voice is low and husky, filled with a mix of jealousy and lust. Giyuu shivers at the possessive tone, his fingers threading through Sanemi's hair.
"And who do I belong to, exactly?"
He challenges playfully, though his eyes show he already knows the answer. Sanemi growls softly, his grip tightening as he nips at Giyuu's earlobe.
"Me. Only me. My vampire."
He punctuates each word with a gentle bite, marking Giyuu as his territory in the crowded room. The music changes to a slower tempo, and Sanemi holds Giyuu even closer, swaying gently.
"Sometimes I wonder how we ended up with such a chaotic household."
He chuckles, watching their children from the corner of his eye as they dance nearby. Giyuu follows Sanemi's gaze, a fond smile on his face as he sees Nezuko twirling around with Tanjiro.
"It's perfect chaos. Our perfect family."
He leans his head against Sanemi's shoulder, completely at ease despite the crowded party. Inosuke is wildly spinning Muichiro around, making the younger boy laugh while Genya watches with an amused expression.
"Looks like Inosuke's energy is contagious tonight."
He observes as Muichiro starts doing his own unique dance moves, completely carefree and happy.
Muichiro suddenly pulls Inosuke into a deep kiss, surprising the boar-headed boy but making Genya whistle appreciatively.
"Those kids have no shame."
He shakes his head, though there's a hint of pride in his voice for his brother's relationship. Tengen appears beside them, clapping his hands dramatically.
"Well well, isn't this adorable! My students getting it on!"
He grins widely, clearly enjoying the scene of his former students dating each other.
