Chapter 13 - The Superman Who Learns Magic Deep in the Immortal

Palace

Frigg's chamber

Frigga, the Queen of Asgard, stood at the window, her face etched with worry.

When she saw Thor walk in with Xiao Han, a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes.

"Mother!" Thor strode forward. "I'm back, and Loki has been subdued."

Frigga breathed a sigh of relief, then her gaze fell on Xiao Han: "Who is this...?"

"Xiao Han, from Midgard." Thor introduced.

"But he is not an ordinary human, his power... even surpasses mine."

Frigga nodded slightly, carefully looking at Xiao Han.

After a moment, she gave a gentle smile. "Welcome, Xiao. Thor rarely speaks so highly of anyone. You must be extraordinary."

Xiao Han nodded in greeting: "Your Majesty, I came to Asgard to learn about your technology and magic."

Frigga said thoughtfully, "Asgard's knowledge is indeed vast, but not everyone can understand it."

"I can try," Xiao Han said calmly.

Frigga smiled: "Okay, I'll arrange for someone to take you to the library and workshop. But before that..."

She looked at Thor. "How is your father?"

Thor's expression darkened: "Odin's sleep has not ended, but Loki's conspiracy has been stopped, the crisis of the Rainbow Bridge has been lifted, and he should wake up soon."

Frigga nodded and then said to Xiao Han, "Xiao, if you really want to learn the knowledge of Asgard, perhaps you can start with the theory of the World Tree."

"The World Tree?" Xiao Han raised his eyebrows.

"It is the foundation of the Nine Realms and the source of all our magic," Frigga explained.

"If you can understand it, you can understand the essence of Asgard."

A hint of interest flashed in Xiao Han's eyes: "It sounds like exactly what I need."

Asgard Library

It was a grand, golden hall, with towering shelves filled with countless ancient scrolls and metal tomes.

Xiao Han stood in the center and looked up. His super vision allowed him to scan the entire library in an instant.

"The knowledge here covers the history, magic, technology, and wars of the Nine Realms..."

"Even I haven't read a tenth of them," Thor said proudly.

Xiao Han walked to one of the bookshelves and casually took down a metal book.

His fingertips lightly touched the pages, and his super brain began to rapidly analyze the words and symbols.

"Your rune system is very interesting." Xiao Han said in a low voice, "They are not just words, but also contain energy."

Thor was surprised: "You can read it?"

Xiao Han did not answer, but continued to read.

His learning speed far exceeded that of ordinary people. He only needed to glance at each page of content to fully understand and memorize it.

A few minutes later, he closed the book, his eyes flashing with a light of thought: "So that's how it is, the essence of Asgard's magic is another way of using cosmic energy."

Thor scratched his head. "Uh... pretty much?"

Xiao Han put down the book and looked at Thor: "Take me to your technology workshop, I want to see your forging technology."

Thor grinned. "No problem! As it happens, our master craftsman, Eitri, has just forged a new batch of weapons!"

Nidavellir

Dwarf Kingdom

Thru the Rainbow Bridge, Xiao Han and Thor came to the forging world of the dwarves.

Here, lava churns, and massive stellar rings surround a dying star, whose energy the dwarves use to forge artifacts.

"Thor!"

The booming voice of the Dwarf King Eitri rang out, "What are you doing here? And who's this stranger you've brought with you?"

"This is Shaw, from Midgard," Thor introduced.

"He is very interested in your forging technology."

Eitri looked at Xiao Han a few times and said in a rough voice, "A mortal? Can he withstand the temperature here?"

Xiao Han smiled slightly and walked straight to the edge of the furnace.

The searing heat had no effect on him, not even singeing the hem of his robe.

Eitri narrowed his eyes. "Interesting..."

Xiao Han observed the dwarves' forging process, and his super vision allowed him to see the landing point of each hammer and the timing of each quenching.

His brain analyzed the situation at lightning speed and he quickly understood the principle behind it.

"Your forging is not just a physical hammering," Xiao Han said.

"It also incorporates the energy veins of the World Tree, so it can create artifacts."

Eitri was shocked: "How did you know?"

Xiao Han did not explain, but walked to a piece of unformed Uru metal: "Can I try it?"

Eitri hesitated for a moment, then nodded, "Okay, but don't waste the material."

Xiao Han picked up the forging hammer, and a flash of golden light flashed in his eyes.

His movements were a little awkward at first, but soon became fluid.

What's even more amazing is that every hammer he strikes is extremely precise, and the force is controlled just right.

Clang! Clang! Clang!

The metal gradually took shape under his hammer, and there was a faint flow of energy inside.

Eitri stared in disbelief. "This... this is impossible! Even for an Asgardian, it would take decades to master this technique!"

Thor was also shocked: "Xiao, who are you?"

Xiao Han stopped his movements, looked at the metal blade that had taken shape in his hand, and said lightly, "A learner."

Just then, a golden light suddenly descended from the sky!

Thor looked up suddenly: "It's my father's call! He's awake!"

Xiao Han put down the forging hammer and looked at the sky: "It seems that Odin wants to see me."

Throne Room of the Celestial Palace

Odin sat on the throne, his one eye fixed on Xiao Han as he walked in.

His eyes were deep and majestic, as if they could see thru everything.

"Visitors from Midgard," Odin said slowly.

"Your power is very special."

Xiao Han looked at him calmly: "My power belongs to me."

Odin was silent for a moment, then said: "Thor told me that you saved Asgard and stopped Loki's crazy plan."

"For this, I thank you."

Xiao Han nodded: "I just did what I should do."

"But you stayed in Asgard for more than just 'learning', right?" Odin's gaze sharpened.

Xiao Han did not avoid the question: "Knowledge is power, and power can help me better control my own destiny."

Odin stared at him for a long time, and finally slowly leaned back on the throne: "Okay, you can stay and learn the knowledge of Asgard. But remember..."

His voice was low, "Some secrets are not for mortals to touch."

Xiao Han smiled slightly and said, "Don't worry, I'm not interested in secrets, I'm only interested in the truth."

Odin's mouth slightly raised: "Interesting answer."

...…

Xiao Han shuttled thru the library, workshop, and even the magic hall of Asgard, absorbing knowledge like a sponge.

He analyzed the rune magic, understood the energy flow of the World Tree, and even learned simple space teleportation skills.

All the knowledge he had seen was already in his mind, ready to be recalled at any time.

At the same time, he also sparred with Thor a few times.

The battle between the two shook the entire Asgard, and the collision of thunder and heat vision made the Asgardian warriors who watched the battle dumbfounded.

Frigga would occasionally personally guide him in the use of magic, and the dwarf king Eitri was full of praise for his forging talent.

Loki was locked in the dungeon, but Xiao Han could feel that his conspiracy was not over.

Early morning

Xiao Han stood at the highest point of the Immortal Palace, looking down at the Nine Realms.

"I've learned enough," he muttered to himself. "It's time to go back to Earth."

Thor walked up to him and handed him a cup of mead. "Leaving already?"

Xiao Han took the glass and drank it all in one gulp. "Yes, I still have things to deal with on Earth."

Thor grinned. "Next time, bring some of that Midgardian wine."

Xiao Han also smiled: "Definitely."

The light of the Rainbow Bridge lit up again, and Xiao Han's figure disappeared in the beam of light.

When he opened his eyes again, he was standing on the streets of New York.

The sky was overcast with dark clouds, and the sound of sirens and explosions came from afar.

Xiao Han looked up and looked at the direction of Stark Tower, his mouth slightly raised:

"It seems I've come back at just the right time."
