Jimmy's POV
A low groan slipped from my lips.
I desperately wanted her to actually rest, knowing the mental exhaustion from battling those hackers all day had to be catching up with her.
Yet I couldn't bring myself to break away from her touch or create any distance between us.
"Stop overthinking," she whispered against my ear, her teeth grazing my earlobe.
"Evelin... Evelin," I managed to rasp out, my voice strained.
"We can't do this. If you really need me, tomorrow... after you've gotten some proper sleep, I'm all yours for as long as you want. But tonight..."
It took everything I had just to force those words out.
"I'm not made of glass," Evelin murmured, her voice throaty and raw. "Honestly... I had no idea I could crave someone this much."
She wanted me completely—mind, body, everything.
This desperate, consuming need for another person was completely new territory for her.
I was floored.
