Jimmy's POV
Allen let out a nervous laugh. "I just think keeping her in the dark isn't the right move. You two finally worked things out, and if you just send her back to America, what if her stubborn side kicks in and she actually decides to cut you out completely?"
"I'd rather have that than watch her die!" I stumbled from the bed, breathing hard, my sharp eyes locked on Allen. "I'm telling you - don't say a word about this to her."
"But—" Allen began.
Before he could get another word out, my right hand shot forward and wrapped around Allen's throat.
Allen's face turned crimson as he clawed frantically at my iron grip.
I'd just woken up, but my fingers felt like steel—Allen couldn't break free no matter how hard he tried.
"Evelin... Evelin asked me to give you something," Allen choked out, his voice strained.
My fingers loosened around his neck.
