Since he had started to abuse inhibitors,Fadel experienced earlier heat than ordinary.His pretense to be a Beta endangered his life.He did all these for someone who doesn't seem to care about him.Fadel had to make sure his Omega scent doesn't go flying around because Peem hates Omegas and can't stand their stench.
He laid on his bed wroughting in pain at the early heat that has called unto him.He had no choice but to do everything to please his beloved Alpha.His memory flashed back to his childhood.
"Stop right there!" His Father's voice rang out. "Where's the money? Where did you hide my turnover"
Fadel's mom trembled in front of her gambling husband,the thug that terrorized her daily. "There's none,you lost all the money.How can I have money" She defended herself
"How can there be no money? Give me your bag!!" He shouted dragging her bag from her while she cried violently as he pushed her to the ground. He searched the bag and found nothing.
"There's really no money! Go out and sell your body if you have no money!" He screamed.
Fadel's little self ran out to defend his mother shielding her from his crazy father.
"You are an Omega,its worth something, isn't it? You bitch!! You bitch you gave birth to a useless Beta son and our daughter is an Alpha that's always sick,just you wait I'll come again.Make sure you have money by then" Fadel's father walked away from them cursing under his breadth.
His mom cried so hard he thought her eye balls might fall out.
"Momma I've differentiated I'm not a Beta--"
His mom covered his mouth so he doesn't finish his sentence.
"Shh,little rabbit you are a Beta.You are a Beta with asthma.You've just become an Omega.There are many things I can't tell you one by one.But you must remember one thing" He brought out his inhaler. "Don't let anyone know you are an Omega.This is an inhibitor inhaler" she placed it in his hands. "I've taken off its label,if anyone asks you just say its asthma,you must use it long term.Don't let anyone smell your pheromones,do you understand my sweetheart? You have to promise me,do you understand?" She shook his shoulders shoulders desperately while tears dreamed down her face.
"I understand momma,I won't tell anyone.Momma,don't cry"
She hugged him so tight his back almost snapped."Remember you are a Beta,my son.You are a Beta"
Fadel's phone rang jolting him from his memories. He rubbed his forehead slowly and was reluctant to pick the call.The ringing persisted and he had to pick it.It was General Secretary Pat calling.
"Secretary Jackson,you finally picked"
"Secretary General,is there anything urgent?"
"Sorry to bother you when you are resting but its urgent.I gave you an encrypted hard disk last weekend.Do you remember?"
"Oh,its with me"
"The information and data report for this monday's meeting are all in this hard disk,Secretary Brown is in charge of the monday regular meeting,should I ask secretary Brown to pick it up or could you pass it to him?"
The whole house reeks of pheromones now,I can't let anyone in. Fadel thought.
"Hello? Secretary Jackson are you listening?"
"I--I'll deliver it to him"
"Thank you so much,Secretary Jackson.This means so much to me" Pat beamed.On a second thought he asked. "Is it okay to leave your Omega at home alone in their heat?"
"Its fine if its just a short time" Fadel lied.
"Okay,thank you so much" Pat laughed then hung up.
Fadel picked up the thermometer to check his temperature when a saw it was a bit normal he prepared to set out with the said hard disk drive.
"My fever has gone down,my heat should be over,its okay if I deliver it to him right?" He muttered to himself smelling himself over.
As Fadel bathed he remembered his doctor's advise. " Mr Jackson, your long term abuse of pheromone inhibitors as caused great damage to your pheromone gland. Based on your current situation,you can't use inhibitors for the time being especially injected ones,your heat is coming,your glands are worn down,I suggest you stay hospitalized"
"Doctor,I can't stay in the hospital" Fadel said.
The doctor sighed."You should at least take a leave from work and rest"
"Doctor what do I do if I don't want my pheromones to leak? Nobody knows I'm an Omega except for my sister.I can't use inhibitor patches"
"Mr Jackson,you've been here for years.With all due respect,you should see a psychiatrist.You refused to acknowledge you identity as an Omega and are even self-abased. Is it because of your partner? Does he not like your scent or....." The doctor paused feeling he had gone too far. "This is mainly my guess,after all the amount of inhibitors you've used is too high"
Fadel looked hurt.
Using huge amounts of inhibitor inhalers every day is a huge burden to your body. At the same time ,I want to remind you,if my guess is true

"No" Fadel interrupted. "Its not like that.Doctor I'm single"
"That's even worse,its very dangerous for a single Omega who isn't pregnant to use inhibitors this much. This will cause pheromone disorder,it will even endanger your life,besides using injection inhibitors during heats Is already a troll for your body.Don't you feel pain?"
"I take painkillers"
"Nonsense! Ignoring what the doctors tell you and taking inhibitors is one thing but you taking painkillers while using inhibitors is another thing,but you are taking painkillers and injection inhibitors during your heat? Do you want to die?"
When he was done with showering and was prepared to go out,he took an injection inhibitor and painkillers muttering to himself
"Its just passing a document,its not like I'm going to be in contact with people for a long time,I'm sure I can cover my pheromones by taking an inhibitor" He injected himself and swallowed some pills then walked out of his apartment.

The sun was a bit scorchy as he walked trying to get the location of Ricky's house,he started to feel really sweaty despite injecting the inhibitor.Ricky's message flashed on his screen indicating his house address. He saw that he had to take series of stairs to climb down,it was discouraging as he didn't have the energy but what choice had he.
He got to the door and was about to knock.He stopped suddenly thinking,I'm sweating so much,hopefully I don't smell. He knocked.
Ricky came to open up and Fadel froze at who he saw behind him. Peem was inside arranging stuffs for Ricky.
Peem turned and stared daggers at Fadel.
Fadel swallowed hard, his heart beating ever so fast
