Jon has no HP or Stamina, and FP is the sum of added Mind attribute points + the base 50 FP.
For example, increasing Mind from 10 to 11 gives Jon 11 FP. Increasing 40 to 41 gives him an additional 41 FP.
With 18 Mind points, Jon has 221 FP (50 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 + 7 + 8 + 9 + 10 + 11 + 12 + 13 + 14 + 15 + 16 + 17 + 18 = 221).
With 50 Mind points, Jon has 1325 FP (50 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5... + 50 = 1325).
With 99 Mind points, Jon has 5000 FP (50 + 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5... + 99 = 5000).
I know it's a lot, but I don't want Jon to be left without mana after a few spells, especially later on. These Lands Between are the real world for him, and the system only helps him navigate in it.
Runes:
Regarding rune acquisition, considering that Jon essentially only has one playthrough, not counting his buffs, the number of runes he gains is the same as from NG+, meaning the number is 5, 3, or twice as high depending on the region, and bosses have their own scaling.
So basically, adding to this buffs, thanks to which Jon needs half as much experience to level and gains twice as much runes, the initial levelling speed will be fast.
But all this only takes time, considering that on my main save, to reach level 395, I need over 1,750,000 runes; after 100 levels everything will slow down.
Let's not forget that for Jon, this isn't a game, and fighting Promised Consort Radahn without the necessary strength would be suicidal.

I want to point out that in this story, attributes don't have caps. So, after, say, 60 points, they don't suddenly become less effective; quite the opposite.
How attributes work for Jon in this story:
Vigor - The Tarnished's Vigor increase Fire Defense, lessening the damage from Fire attacks, and also increases Immunity, increasing the Tarnished's resistance to Poison and Scarlet Rot. It does not increase HP as Jon does not have it, but it affects his body, bone and muscle density, tendon strength, as well as the hardness and resistance of his skin to damage, etc.
Mind - The Tarnished's Mind stat directly affects their FP totals. In addition, leveling Mind will also increase Focus, increasing the Tarnished's resistance to Sleep and Madness and direct attacks from the Outer Gods.
Endurance - It affects Tarnished stamina, but doesn't increase it in points like in the game. With 60 stamina, Jon won't tire after 5 rolls and 4 blows, but he'll be able to fight all day, sleep once a week, etc.
Leveling Endurance will also increase the Tarnished's Robustness, which increases their resistance to Hemorrhage and Frostbite. Finally no equip load, because it's pointless.
Strength – Strength is strength. The more strength points, the stronger Jon is, literally. And it's not just that Jon with 20 strength is twice as strong as Jon with 10 strength.
Ten strength points is the peak human potential in Jon's world. Like Hodor or Mountain.
With 50 strength, Jon could shatter a fortress gate with his bare hands or throw a horse twenty meters.
With 99 strength points, he could lift a small whale, weighing about 30 tons. Let's say that's Radahn's strength.
In addition, levelling Strength will also increase the Tarnished's physical defence, but to a lesser extent than vigor.
Dexterity - It doesn't actually affect weapons damage, but overall it increases Jon's agility, speed, and reaction time. And, of course, his speed of casting Spells and Incantations speed. It's obvious, since he's faster.
Intelligence - Higher intelligence allows the use of more powerful spells, and also increases the strength of spells, their range, and area of effect. It speeds up thinking, calculation, planning, and so on.It also increases the power of weapon skills based on it.
It also increases magic defence by a percentage. 10 Intelligence gives 10% resistance. 99 gives 99% resistance, meaning practically invulnerability to magic.
Faith - Higher Faith allows the use of more powerful Incantations, increasing their strength, range, and area of effect. It also increases the power of weapon skills based on it.
Along with Mind, it also affects the mind's defense against direct attacks from the Outer Gods.
Arcane - Higher Arcane allows the use of more powerful spells and incantations, and also increases the strength of spells, their range, and area of effect. It also increases the power of weapon skills based on it.
Increases defence against holy damage and resistance to death blight. 99 points equals 99% resistance. Increases the power of applied effects.
Since bodies disappear after being defeated when they return to Erdtree, this increases the chance of finding items.
Resistances in percent:
I'm simplifying the effects here. The same resistance affects both the speed at which effects are applied to Jon and the damage they cause.
For example, how resistant he is to poison itself and how much damage he takes from it. With 99% resistance, the chance of being poisoned is marginal, and the damage is negligible.
