Orochimaru's approval came within the hour.
"Escalate as needed," the Sannin said when Sasuke met with him. "But be smart about it. The moment they connect these attacks to you specifically, every nation with a bloodline limit will unite against you."
"They won't connect it to me. They'll think it's a Hyuga-targeting terrorist. Maybe a rival clan. Maybe political extremists." Sasuke pulled out his tactical plan. "We vary our attack patterns. Different times of day. Different methods. Sometimes Fire Release, sometimes Lightning, sometimes pure taijutsu. Keep them guessing."
"And the bodies?"
"Always destroyed. Complete incineration. No evidence of absorption, no way to determine what actually happened." Sasuke's eyes gleamed. "By the time they figure out someone is stealing dojutsu, I'll already have completed my Byakugan collection."
Orochimaru smiled. "You've thought this through."
"I always do."
"Then you have my blessing. Hunt as many as you need." Orochimaru leaned back. "But Sasuke-kun... what happens when you complete your Byakugan collection? What's the next target?"
Sasuke was quiet for a moment. Then: "Sharingan. Hunt down any remaining Uchiha survivors. Absorb their eyes. Strengthen my base Mangekyo further."
"And after that?"
"Itachi. Take his eyes. Achieve Eternal Mangekyo." Sasuke's voice was cold. "Then the real collection begins. Rinnegan. Tenseigan. Every divine eye this world has ever produced."
"Ambitious."
"Then hunt, Sasuke-kun." Orochimaru's smile was sharp. "Show the world what the Dojutsu Hunter can do."
