Great Blue Residence.
Inside one of the many guest quarters within the residence, an elderly woman was currently lying on the bed in an unconscious state.
Her tattered robes were discarded and replaced with a plain white one. Currently, an elderly man's fingers were pressed on her veins, and he was checking her pulse.
"Doctor Li, how is her condition?" Master Ru asked from the side. Doctor Li was the best doctor in the town, and Master Ru had immediately called him over when he heard about the incident from Feng Yu.
"She's…fine," Doctor Li answered after a brief pause, "Her condition is stable, and it just looks like she's mentally exhausted. She should be awake by tomorrow morning."
"…But her clothes were in tatters! Doctor Li, are you sure she doesn't have any internal injury?" Feng Yu asked from the side with a worried expression.
"Yes, Miss Yu, I'm absolutely sure about it. She has no traces of internal injuries," Doctor Li nodded in a confirmatory manner.
"That's good." Feng Yu sighed in relief when she heard Doctor Li's confirmation.
"Thank you for coming on such short notice, Doctor Li," Master Ru bowed and said, "How about we share a cup of tea since it's almost time for it? It just so happens that I've got a new set of tea leaves from Maple Town."
"Then I won't be standing on ceremony, Master Ru." Doctor Li's expression became excited the moment he heard Master Ru's words, and the two of them quickly headed to the main quarter.
Meanwhile, a frown appeared on Feng Yu's face as she couldn't help but mutter to herself, "But it's strange…her robes clearly had traces of blood on them."
"Maybe they belonged to some bandits or wild animals. She seems to be a cultivator from her presence, so that most likely seems to be the case," Yi Chen added from the side.
"I also think the same…anyway, I'm glad that she's not hurt," Feng Yu exhaled, no longer thinking much over the matter. When the woman wakes up, she will ask her directly.
"True…Hopefully, she'll wake up soon," Yi Chen muttered. He was dying from curiosity to know the origins of this great expert.
'From which realm did she arrive? How should I get there? What is her cultivation level? Will she find me talented? Will she bless me with some divine skills? Will she...'
Yi Chen's mind was flooded with these questions as he looked longingly towards the elderly woman.
Seeing his expression, Feng Yu couldn't help but smile and think to herself, 'He's such a kind-hearted man.'
"I'll be going back to my room now for physical training. What about you?" Feng Yu suddenly asked, realising that it was already late afternoon.
"Uhm…I'll go over the manual once again for a final revision and try to open my first Qi point," Yi Chen said after a thought.
Thanks to the doubt clarification by Feng Yu in the carriage earlier, the little doubts Yi Chen had about the first stage were cleared, and he was confident enough to give it a try.
"Good, see you in the evening then," Feng Yu nodded. She wasn't worried, as by the level of questions Yi Chen had asked her earlier, she was able to gauge his comprehension level.
The two soon left for their respective quarters.
Half an hour later.
"Let's do this then!" Yi Chen exclaimed to himself in his room and started breathing in a pattern which was taught by Master Ru in the morning.
'Take first breath…hold for 2 breath's time…. exhale…'
'Second breath…4 breath's time…exhale…'
As Yi Chen followed this breathing routine, he started feeling a sense of warmth just above his stomach. The more he followed the breathing routine, the warmer the area felt.
'Now I need to guide this warmth towards the first Qi point…'
Yi Chen directed the warmth towards his belly button as directed in the manual and kept following his breathing pattern.
One minute…
Five minutes…
Fifty minutes…
By now, Yi Chen's robe was drenched in sweat because of the immense heat being produced within his body.
Beads of sweat kept dripping down his forehead, trying to distract him, but Yi Chen kept his eyes tightly pressed throughout with his focus set on only one thing: the First Qi Point.
TAK!
Just when an hour was about to complete, Yi Chen felt a cracking sensation at a point under his belly button. Realising this, Yi Chen completely held his breath to build extra pressure and heat to target this region.
He kept at it, and just when his face was as red as a tomato and his lungs about to give out, his Qi point was forced open, and an inexplicable feeling was felt by him.
A feeling similar to a restriction that had been on him since birth was finally loosening up.
"I did it!" Yi Chen exclaimed with happiness before falling back on the bed, completely exhausted and drenched in sweat.
'I've finally entered the path of cultivation…' he thought in exhilaration and was stretching his stiffened body a little when a sudden sound rang in his mind.

'This is what a system is supposed to do!' he exclaimed in his mind as another panel opened up in front of him.

Just when his hand was about to press 'Now', he paused.
'Wait…I'll be busy in the following days with the wedding arrangements and everything. With all that going on, it would be difficult for me to focus my time on cultivation.'
With this thought in mind, Yi Chen nodded to himself and decided to use this buff later on.
Knock Knock!
"Young Master, it's time for dinner," Yi Chen's servant reminded him from the outside.
"Alright! I'll be ready in a minute," Yi Chen responded, and after changing into a fresh pair of robes, left for the dining hall.
