"Let me go! I'm not done yet–"
Ruby tried to break free from Mario's tight grip, but to no avail.
Without any word, Mario continued to drag her out of the garden as if they would be dead if they were just one second slower.
It was only after they were a significant distance away did he dare to let go, glaring at the disobedient woman as he raised his voice to question her.
"Why are you there? Where is your mask?
Ruby didn't answer any of his questions. Instead, she asked him back in a provocative manner.
"Don't you want to know what I see back there? The Fourth Prince, he–"
"Shut up!" Mario snapped at her, "Do you want to die? You should've been thankful that the Master hadn't killed you back there. After all, the mask…"
"What about the mask?" Ruby interrupted, the directness of her inquiry stumping him to the point of silence.
Finally, after a moment of hesitance, Mario opened his mouth to ask.
"Didn't they tell you about the Master?"
