"Don't just stand there, Okarun!" Kial shouted, dodging a swipe from one of the hybrid's shadowy limbs.
Okarun's glasses reflected the flickering neon as a grin spread across his face. "You think I'm standing?" With a flash, his form blurred — Turbo Granny activated. His body moved faster than the eye could follow, a crimson trail marking his movements as he launched a barrage of punches, kicking the hybrid back with impossible speed. Each strike sent ripples through the air, smashing pieces of asphalt and concrete.
Momo floated above, her psychic energy flaring like a halo. "I'll hold it! Hit it while it's distracted!" She extended her hands, creating a shimmering barrier that pinned some of the hybrid's limbs in place. Her chestnut hair swayed, the teal earrings catching light, and her red ribbon fluttered as psychic waves pulsed outward.
Kial didn't wait. His fists ignited in chi energy, slamming the ground with explosive force. Golden waves shot outward, striking the hybrid where Okarun's flurry had weakened it. The creature screeched, staggering from the combined assault.
Okarun vaulted into the air, his Turbo Granny energy allowing him to deliver a spinning mid-air kick that connected perfectly with Kial's chi shockwave, sending the hybrid crashing into the alley wall. Cracks spread across the concrete, sparks flying.
"Teamwork," Momo said with a smirk, eyes narrowing as she amplified her psychic hold. "Let's finish this!"
The hybrid shrieked, splitting its shadowy limbs into smaller, writhing appendages. Kial's chi flared brighter, Momo's barrier shimmered stronger, and Okarun's Turbo Granny energy radiated in crimson streaks around him. They were a trio of unstoppable energy, ready to confront whatever came next.
