[Welcome, Fang Raon]
Fang Raon blinked and touched the blue holographic window.
It felt like he was touching window glass, but his hand passed through it as if it were made of water.
"…Interesting."
He thought out loud, then looked around the empty floor, and scratched the back of his head.
He wasn't quite sure what he was supposed to do now, but luckily, the game decided his next action for him.
The holographic message disappeared, and an interface popped up in front of him.

[Please, assign the thirty available stat points to the six stats]
A message came, and Fang Raon turned his gaze back to the interface and rubbed his chin thoughtfully.
'Stamina, Attack, Defense, Speed, Vitality, and Mana. Thirty stat points is not much, so I can either balance the stats by giving them all five points or focus on one area more heavily.'
Fang Raon had listened to several streamers, who had discussed where to assign their stat points.
There were players who preferred Attack as the dominant stat, while others opted for Defense or Speed.
Vitality was also extremely valuable, as one stat point equalled 10 HP, and survival was extremely important in the tower.
Each account had only one life.
If one died, let's say, in the 50th floor, their account would be terminated, and they would have to start all over from the Zero Floor with their new account.
It was really harsh.
'Instead of thinking about what stats I should assign, I should first think about what class I should choose.
'There are six classes—Warrior, Mage, Ranger, Assassin, Helper, and Tank—if I chose Tank, sure Vitality and Defense would be obvious choices.
'If I chose Mage, I would obviously focus on Mana, and the same with the Helper class. If I chose Ranger, I would probably opt for Speed, and the same with Assassin.
'With Warrior, I think more balanced stats would be the best choice.'
Fang Raon was in a dilemma.
He quickly crossed Helper, Ranger, and Assassin from his list of choices and looked at the three left.
'I know Mage is an extremely powerful class, but in close combat, the Warrior class would crush it with ease.
'Tank is the class with the greatest survivability, and if I chose that, I wouldn't have to fear dying as much.
'However, Tank is a very slow class, and to make it any quicker, I would need to waste a lot of stats on Speed.
'Against quick opponents like Assassins and Rangers, Tank would be at a heavy disadvantage even with great survivability.
'I'd rather not want to put myself at a disadvantage, so it seems like there is only one class that I am truly confident in choosing.'
Fang Raon turned his attention back to the holographic interface and confidently decided to choose Warrior as his class.
However, before officially choosing that, he needed to assign his stats, and after thinking for a moment, he had made his decision.
He touched the interface and started assigning.
[Stamina: 0 → 5]
[Attack: 0 → 8]
[Defense: 0 → 5]
[Speed: 0 → 4]
[Vitality: 0 → 8]
[Mana: 0]
With eight stat points assigned to Vitality, his health was now at 80/80, and he was quite pleased with that.
In that moment, the holographic interface disappeared, and another window popped open in front of him.

Without even thinking twice, Fang Raon chose the Warrior class.
The class window disappeared, and the next window popped open—it was the inventory—there were five items inside.
Fang Raon pulled out a wooden broadsword and shield. They were starting weapons of the Warrior class.
"Weapon Status."

Since it was only the starting weapon, it was the weapon with the lowest stats and the lowest tier.
Tiers went like this—I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, VIII, IX, and X.
Ten tiers in total, but to this day, no one had ever acquired a weapon of Tier X.
Fang Raon also checked the shield status, and it was pretty much the same as the wooden broadsword, but the weight was four instead.
He then checked the rest of the items on his inventory and found an empty flask, which he knew was a potion flask.
Potions were important, as healing potions could be used to save one's life, and there were also potions that could increase one's strength and speed in battle.
Lastly, there were two scrolls in the inventory, and after he pulled them out, he opened them to reveal ancient spells written in a language he didn't understand.
[Basic Slash Skill Acquired!]
[Basic Parry Skill Acquired!]
The information of the two skills entered Fang Raon's brain, and it felt strange, as these memories were something he shouldn't have.
However, now suddenly he knew how to utilize them.

'Yes… I might've learned these skills, but they are still at the lowest level and, thus, very weak unless I master them.
'Mastering skills is the key in leveling up as well. There are many ways to level up, and those are killing tower monsters, mastering skills, and also increasing stats.
'While each level up gives 100 stat points, it is also possible to increase the stats by doing activities, such as running, which could increase the Speed and Stamina stat, and improving strength can increase the Attack stat.'
Fang Raon swiped his hand and made every window in front of him disappear, and then he began to wonder what he should do next.
However, he didn't have to think for long, as suddenly stairs emerged from the white floor and headed up to the white sky.
Fang Raon walked up the stairs, and in just a few minutes, he reached the sky that wasn't actually all that far and found himself in front of a door.
He didn't hesitate and opened the door.
