Chapter 150 - Chapter 150: Satou’s Magic, Making the Impossible Possible

"Making another dish based on the original one?" Ann confirmed again.

"That's right, I will use that French Lemon Chicken just now to create a dish that you will approve of." Satou nodded.

"Heh heh, you want to re-cook that unqualified dish and create a taste that I'll approve of?" A hint of mockery flashed in Ann's eyes.

A dish that has already been made cannot be re-cooked, because the flavor has already been set.

It's like a painting that has already been completed; it's impossible to turn it into another painting.

"That's right. Do you want to see it?" Satou asked.

"Heh heh, no interest, because that's impossible." Ann's lips curved into a mocking smile. Although she was a little curious, she didn't believe that this young man could really do it, unless he was one of the Elite Ten of Far Moon.

However, she had the information on all the Elite Ten, and this guy wasn't among them.

"Are you scared?" Satou asked.

Ann's footsteps immediately stopped. Although she knew it was a provocation, his tone still annoyed her.

"Since you put it that way, I guess I'll have to give you all another chance." Ann's face broke into a gentle smile, and she said in a soft tone, "After all, we WGO are very benevolent. Even when facing a chef with no value, like that Mr. Yukihira just now, we still treat them with an accommodating heart."

Then, Ann picked up a thick stack of red-bound books again, stumbled, and sat back down in her seat, though the smile on her face had disappeared. "Now, show me what you've got." She gazed at Satou, "But my time is very limited, you know."

"It's alright, twenty minutes will be enough." Satou smiled.

Ann saw his smile and immediately became annoyed again, secretly gritting her teeth.

"You are a Far Moon student, aren't you?"

"That's right." Satou nodded.

"I hope you don't disgrace your school." Ann smiled faintly and said.

"Satou, this dish's flavor is already set, isn't it? How can you re-create it?" At this moment, Tadokoro Megumi also walked over and asked worriedly.

"Yeah, if it was just steamed, the flavor wouldn't be too strong, so it could be done again. But this dish's flavor is already very deep, right?" Yukihira Soma also added, "If you cook it again using the lemon chicken method, the flavor will be completely ruined."

In their opinion, this was simply impossible.

"Hmm, I already have an idea. It should be fine." Satou said.

"Student, then we are counting on you!" Kujo Eisuke, leading all the restaurant staff, knelt on the ground and said in a deep voice.

"Heh heh, it's alright, everyone used to be Far Moon students, after all." Satou smiled indifferently.

The other party was still very good. As a senior from Far Moon, he was very kind to Yukihira and the others. Even if it wasn't for the system mission, Satou wanted to try and help him.

"You can use everything in the kitchen. If you need a hand, I have no problem!" Kujo Eisuke said in a deep voice, rolling up his sleeves, ready to assist Satou.

"No need, Megumi can help me." Satou said. Tadokoro Megumi and he already had great chemistry.

"Okay!" Tadokoro Megumi smiled slightly, feeling sweet inside because of Satou's trust.

Afterward, the two walked into the kitchen.

Everyone in the restaurant waited anxiously.

Although in Kujo Eisuke's opinion, transforming the already set lemon chicken into another delicious dish was impossible, he vaguely felt that perhaps that young man truly possessed such magic.

Time passed quickly, and twenty minutes were almost up.

"Is it not ready yet?" Ann glanced at her watch, frowning.

At this moment, Satou and Tadokoro Megumi walked out of the kitchen and said, "It's ready. Please taste it." Then, he handed a dish to her.

"Shredded Chicken Cold Noodles?" Ann was slightly stunned when she saw the dish in front of her.

If she remembered correctly, this should be a very common noodle dish in Huaxia.

"That's right, I shredded the chicken from the French Lemon Chicken just now and simply paired it with cold noodles to make this dish." Satou smiled slightly and said.

"Even if you shredded the chicken, the texture of the shredded chicken still has flaws that cannot be changed. Even if paired with cold noodles and turned into another dish, it still cannot be made into a perfect dish." Ann frowned slightly and said.

"You can try it." Satou said, "I've cast a spell on this dish; the flavor is completely different now."

"Hmph, playing mysterious, then let me see your magic." Ann snorted coldly, then began to taste it.

Everyone else in the restaurant was a little nervous.

Ann picked up a chopstick full of shredded chicken, paired it with cucumber and noodles, and put it all into her mouth.

The expected sweet and cloying taste did not appear. The shredded chicken was exceptionally fresh and refreshing, paired with a light, sweet sauce and crisp cucumber shreds, making it incredibly delicious.

The cold noodles were also very chewy and springy. The entire dish presented an unprecedentedly refreshing flavor; the previous sweet and cloying taste had completely disappeared!

At this moment, Ann felt enveloped by a refreshing sensation, incredibly comfortable and cool, as if she were strolling through a forest.

"This… how is this possible! Did you really cast a spell?" She asked in disbelief.

Seeing her expression, everyone in the restaurant was startled.

Could it be that Satou had truly made the impossible possible?

Had he brought the already set lemon chicken back to life?

"How is it? Does it taste good?" Satou smiled slightly and asked.

Ann's face immediately flushed slightly. Although she really didn't want to admit it, she had to concede that this dish had truly been reborn.

Although the chicken was the same chicken as before, the texture was completely new, incredibly refreshing, and a step up from before.

"How did you do it?" She couldn't help but ask.

Everyone else also perked up their ears, filled with curiosity about how Satou had managed it.

Satou smiled slightly, then began to explain.
