In-between round 3 and 4 the sin team sits in their armoury now with Cam lying on the floor.
"Why am I here?" Cam demands as he gets up from the floor and looks around the sins.
"Because we know what happened and what will happen if he isn't apprehended before Toon finds out." Says a feminine voice from the corner.
Cam turns to see a woman with flames covering her body and a bow upon her back.
"So you're the one who brought me here Asmodeus." Cam says as he puts his hand out to shake hers.
"The only other two with enough power to do it are Lucifer and Satan so I had to." She replies as she shakes his hand.
"Should have let him die." Says a rough deep voice from the shadows.
The room falls to silence for a solid minute as everyone looks around uneasily.
"The next match is in 10 minutes I'll be fighting so go inform the sanctuary team during the match. Just pull aside Robotica and Marrow and inform those two about it." Asmodeus says as she offers a reassuring smile to Cam.
"Yes ma'am." He replies with a salute.
After 10 minutes the match starts and Asmodeus walks into the arena like a model on a runway. Her flaming cover seemingly extended into luxurious locks of purple flame hair. On the other side yet another suited individual appears. This time instead of looking like an undead zombie like Robotica did they have a skull covering their head as Marrow enters the arena.
"WHAT A MATCH WE'VE GOT LINED UP FOR OURSELVES EVERYONE. THE LIONESS OF LOVE AND THE NATURAL BEAUTY OF THE SINS. THE SIN OF LUST ASMODEUS. AND IN THE OTHER SIDE WE HAVE THE IMMORTAL SKELETON AND THE BONED BEAST OF THE EAST. MARROW." The announcer bellows with renowned joy at the sight of two more contestants.
"Hello Darling its been a while." Asmodeus says as she runs across the arena and embraces Marrow.
"Its been too long." He replies as he returns her embrace.
They silently embrace for around 3 minutes before Marrow speaks up "We're meant to be fighting."
"I know... but this is more fun."
Meanwhile in the sanctuary teams stands Titana is still fast asleep, Robotica is watching the match, and the others are playing cards.
"Aren't you jealous that Asmodeus is hugging your boyfriend?" Asks Cam as he appears behind Robotica.
"You know she's just affectionate with everyone. I'll get the same thing after all the matches and Toon will probably get a new book on lovecraftian creatures." He replies with a chuckle.
"I need to speak with you privately Sir." Cam says as his tone shifts to a serious one.
Back in the arena Asmodeus and Marrow have finally stepped back and are now facing each other waiting to attack. Asmodeus has he bow drawn and a flaming arrow ready to fire whilst Marrow has sprouted tendrils from his back which he's using to add some extra height and increase his mobility. Ultimately the first move is made by Asmodeus as she shoots an arrow which is quickly deflected by one of the four bone tendrils.
Asmodeus fights back with a barrage of 15 arrows in quick succession. Most get blocked but 6 hit Marrows suit stabbing into his skin.
"Oh damn nice shots." Marrow says as he rips out the arrows and then starts getting coated in a thick layer of bone armour before getting 4 times bigger with a massive exo skeleton around him.
"We're going big are we?" Asmodeus asks as she starts to grow rapidly into a satyr with a flaming skull for a head.
Back in the stands Cam and Robotica have moved to a secluded area where its just them. Robotica starts the conversation by asking "what's happened?"
"You know the cannibal in our midst." Cam says nervously
"Of course I do. I found the first corpse." Robotica says with his usual calm tone.
"I've been trailing them and he ate Rose."
"As in Toon's Rose?" Robotica says with fear entering his expression.
"Yeah"
"Well i guess we need to kill him quickly."
"About that" Cam says getting sheepish again.
"What?"
"He lied about his powers... he's Molecular." Cam says with a sigh
"Fuck me sideways."
While the conversation happens, the two beasts in the arena collide as they try to push each other back.
"So Boney." Asmodeus says with a quiet tone.
"What Azzy." He replies trying to get the upper hand.
"The cannibal ate Rose. And their Molecular." Azzy replies as she pretends to slip to give Marrow the upper hand in the fight.
Both tumble ending with Marrow atop Azzy.
"Sorry but I need to pound you know." Marrow says as he lifts his fist.
"Oh yes pound me with your big bone." Azzy replies teasingly before taking punch after punch to the face causing her to slowly revert to her humanoid form where she raises an arrow with a white flag attached.
"I surrender" she says with a smile as she gets up and walks away.
"WHAT AN END ASMODEUS HAS SURRENDERED MAKING MARROW THE WINNER AND TURNING THE SCORES TO 2:2 MEANING ITS ANYONES GAME NOW. WHO WILL WIN!" The announcer bellows with a massive smile from ear to ear.
Back in the armoury rooms the Sanctuary team is playing cards now with Robotica and Cam as Marrow returns.
"You better not be gambling Toon." Marrow says as he sits down in-between Robotica and Cam.
"Nah we're just passing time." He replies with a chuckle.
"Guess I'm fighting next." Mammon says as she plays her hand and wins the game of cards.
"You got it Mammon." Robotica says with a smile as he leans his head against Marrows shoulder and whispers "Cam told me about Rose."
"Azzy told me too." Marrow whispers back as he puts an arm around Robotica.
Now both teams are in the moral conundrum on weather they work together and call off the tournament or wait until the end of the tournament to fight the next big threat.
