To begin, you need mana.
Mana is created from both physical energy and spiritual energy. To understand this better, just look at animals. Some animals are weak because they rely only on physical energy. But animals with spiritual energy are smarter—and stronger—than regular animals.
There are four main elements: Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth.
There are others, like lightning or ice, which can be created by combining elements—water and wind, for example. But these combinations are much stronger if you're born with them. Most of these are considered sub-categories.
The teacher noticed no one was paying attention.
"Alright then," she said. "Time for combat."
The classroom instantly came alive.
"Adrian and Victor, demonstrate."
"Yes, ma'am," they replied.
"Class, follow me."
"I can't wait," a student said. "This is gonna be an awesome match."
Adrian took a defensive stance, his style rooted in Earth.
Victor stood confidently, flames flickering around him.
"Match… begin!"
"Take this!" Victor shouted, launching a massive fireball.
Adrian smirked.
"Earth control."
Five stone walls rose from the ground, completely blocking the attack.
Victor channeled mana into his feet and blasted upward, clearing the walls with fire in his hands.
"It won't be that easy."
Adrian raised his hands. Rocks formed and shot toward Victor.
Victor raised one hand and detonated a small explosive flame, propelling himself away.
"I win," Adrian said calmly.
A solid wall of rock appeared behind Victor.
BAM.
Victor slammed into it.
"Is he alright?"
"That was amazing!"
"When can I go?"
The students buzzed with excitement.
"You," the teacher called out, pointing at Theron. "The new boy. Show us what you're made of."
She hesitated.
"I won't pair you with someone too strong. I don't want you hurt too badly."
She glanced around.
"How about you—the shy girl. Pink hair, step forward."
"Yes, ma'am."
"Begin. Water control—Water Fist."
Theron thought, She's a girl. I can't go all out. I'll just restrain her.
He looked up—
She was already in front of him.
WHAM.
Two hits connected.
Theron dropped like a sack of potatoes.
"This boy is pathetic," someone muttered.
"And he got the king's recommendation?"
Nyra watched silently, understanding something she didn't yet have words for.
Later that day, Theron woke up with Princess Evleah sitting beside him.
"Do you want an apple?" she asked softly.
"Sure," Theron said, then frowned. "Where's my sister?"
"She went home," Evleah replied.
Theron's heart sank.
"She never leaves my side."
He jumped out of bed.
"Wait!" Evleah cried.
Theron ran back to the mansion. When he reached their room, he saw Nyra lying on the bed, smiling.
He rushed to her—
—and everything after that blurred together.
The next thing Theron knew, the king stood in the doorway.
"Theron," the king said, his voice heavy. "You're weak."
Theron said nothing.
"I can help you gain power."
Theron's mind flashed back—
You're nothing without power.
"Power…" Theron whispered. "How?"
"I will train you," the king said. "And I have a sacred treasure that grants power."
"What's the catch?" Theron asked.
"All the mana in your body will burn," the king replied.
"The ring binds to you. Every time you use it, the pain could drive you insane. It forces mana into your body. If you haven't completed the first process, you could die."
"Then why didn't you wear it?" Theron asked. "Why not your children?"
"Because there's no guarantee," the king said. "If you lose control… we'd have to kill you."
Theron didn't hesitate.
"I'll take it."
The king looked surprised.
"Your mind is already made up?"
"Yes," Theron said quietly.
"If I don't have power… I'm already dead."
The king studied him.
"You're far too mature for your age."
Note
Theron sister kill herself BTW
