Chapter 3 - chapter 3

chapter 3.

alright so with the training arc done and dusted, lets take a look at this system store. "system

bring up the store". 15 minutes later I was truly flabbergasted. when the system said everything

in existence can be purchased it really meant everything. I could buy anything from a bucket of

sound to the particle accelerator from dc to superman gold himself to even an entire multiverse,

don't even want to think about how much that sit costs. Obviously everything has a price, and

different variations of an item or a person have different prices. A squadron of storm troopers

fully geared and armed could be purchased for 1 million but if I wanted to buy the very same

squadron but fully loyal with 0 percent chance of betrayal and absolute obedience like the

summons from the gacha the price goes up to 3.5 mill. so yh the shop is great but the fact that

the system doesn't come with quests or missions latterly means the only way to get SP is

through the gacha. So even though I have a billion points I still have to be careful with how I

spend them since I might not get any points at all in the next spin next year.

After exploring the system for a bit I decided to buy some clothes to wear as my current ones

were completely ruined after the training. I also wanted to get some food but decided against it

as I wasn't feeling hungry at all despite not having eaten anything at all since I got here. I quickly

went to the shop search bar and searched up 'custom viltrumite emperor armor with greater

durability' and I found one that comes with two forms, a casual one and a battle one and it

comes with a self repairing function, as well as that the casual form is twice as durable as the

normal emperor armour and the battle form is 5 times more durable. I also get to customise the

colour palette. All for a 'bargain' price of 86.5 million. yh that's hella expensive but I see it as an

investment. Buy it now and use it for a longgg time and it has that level of protection that I need.

So I replaced the grey bits with black the reds with gold, kept the white parts the same, changed

the cape from red to black with gold around the edges and changed the crest to the house

harkonnen crest from Dune. I closed my eyes and pressed purchase. I equipped it from the

inventory, and tried out the different forms that switched like some liquid nano tech type shit and

felt my aura go up +10 000.

Now for some big decisions, obviously I'm in the marvel comics universe and unlike most

transmigrators/reincarnates I was just dropped in here with no background of any kind, so the

question is how the hell am I going to integrate into society. Now I can just show up and start

doing random shit but that comes with too many limitations, making and spending money and

things of that nature, but then ill have all the govs on my neck and even tho I can most definitely

defend myself its still too much trouble and again this is the comics so you never know what

these fuckers have in their closets. I could also use the system shop but that would be a waste

points. so for the next hour I used all of my new op brain and came to the 1 conclusion I think

makes the most sense and gives me the least amount of trouble. ----------------------

Somewhere about 30 000 feet above the city of Berlin, the helicarrier home base of the

Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division. S.H.I.E.L.D for short was

on route to another global emergency under the command of Nicholas Joseph Fury when all of

sudden the alarms blared up all over the ship. Nicholas Fury with urgency in his step quickly

made his way to the command counsel accompanied by his second in command agent maria

hill already barking orders before even fully crossing the automatic sliding doors.

"this better be an actual fucking emergency or whoever fucked up better start their prayers

now", maria next to him looked at one of the officers manning one of the dozens of consul and

asked " what's the emergency Ramirez", "Mam its coming up on the mane screen right now"

moments later the live feed came up. And what they saw left them flabbergasted, eyebrows

immediately shut up. On the screen they could all see a man dressed in black and gold simply

floating there, hands behind his back and his cape fluttering behind him just looking at them with

a smile on his face.

Furry being the experienced spymaster he is, immediately composed himself and started

issuing orders. "get men out there and guns on him now, I want facial rec on the double, you

have 2 minutes to tell me who in the hell that is, have the AH-74 Apaches in the air ready to

blast that fucker out the air", the officers got to it right after with maria supervising. As weird as

this might be, they've seen weirder by now.

5 minutes later 30 men with guns and altitude had their rifles aimed at the mysterious stranger,

3 helos circling him with their 30 mm cannon ready to go.

"sir facial recognition is coming with 0 matches, we checked all the servers"

"What do we know then", "he showed up approximately 6 minutes ago, nearest satellite only

clocked him about 6 miles away approaching us at Mach 5, once he reached us he stopped,

and has been standing there since"

"I already know this is going to be a headache sir" Maria added with a small sigh.

"Alright get me on the speakers" furry said, soon after a microphone icon came up on his main

consul, he pressed and began to speak.

"Mr flying man, do us all a favour and slowly descend on to the bridge with your hands where

we can see them, that would save us all a lot of paper work".

Surprisingly enough he did exactly as commanded. 3 minutes later he was sitting in an

interrogation room with a black hood over his head and handcuffs on his hands.

Furry, agent romanoff and Phil Coulson stood behind the one way mirror watching him.

"Romanoff I want you on this one, find out who he is and what he wants" "on it, do we know

anything about him at all ?" Coulson answered " nothing so far, he could be mutant, some

science experiment or even alien. wouldn't be the first one that came crashing down here"

"the New Mexico guy, any familiarities?" " No he doesn't have the Asgardian aesthetic we're

aware of" Furry added to their conversation by saying "either way the objective is still the same,

identity and intention".

----------------

" Hello Mr. Flying man, my name is Talia. talia johns"

The voice came from directly in front of him, calm, level, just soft enough to sound non-threatening and just firm enough to sound official. The hood over his head muffled the acoustics, but with his senses he might as well have been looking straight at her.

the dim, sterile light of the interrogation room greeted him. Metal table bolted to the floor, two metal chairs, one camera up in the left corner, another in the opposite, one door, one mirrored wall behind her that was absolutely not "just a mirror".

She was exactly what he expected her to be. All back suite, red hair, posture relaxed but not really. Weight evenly distributed between both feet, hands loose by her sides, but one wrist a little closer to her hip than the other. Ready to draw.

"that's clearly a fake name, and I give you 3 out ten for the creativity, iv been here a little over a

week and even I know talia johns is not creative at all"

He leaned back in the chair as much as the cuffs allowed, chains clinking lightly, eyes locked onto hers. No hostility, just mild amusement. From his point of view, the whole "hood, cuffs, mysterious agent" thing was more like theatre than real threat.

"you know what your right, so how bout you tell me your name and I tell you mine"

She did not rise to the bait. Her tone stayed casual, almost friendly, but he could see the focus in her eyes. Every twitch of his face, every breath, was being recorded somewhere in her head for later.

"I am Aetherion Feyd Rautha Harkonnen the second, heir to the most ancient and noble house

of harkonnen, crown prince of the Imperium, god of the sun, might, agriculture life and music,

son of Thragg Feyd Rautha Harkonnen, his majesty the allfather god king of the imperium"

He delivered the entire title in one smooth breath, no hesitation, like he had been saying it his entire life. He watched her face carefully for any flicker of recognition at any of the names. Nothing obvious. Professional.

"wow, that's a lot isn't it",

One eyebrow ticked up as she said it, the closest thing to open sarcasm he had seen from her so far. She was trying to keep the tone light, non-confrontational. Keep the "alien god-prince" talking, make him feel comfortable, get him to underestimate her.

"yes, yes it is. Before we continue, can you remove this rag from my head? It's becoming very

itchy. Plus if the point is to obstruct my view then let me save you the disappointment and tell

you that I can see you quite clearly. all back suite, red hair"

He tilted his head slightly to the side as he spoke, eyes flicking up to the corner camera, then back to her. No sign of stress. No sign of confusion. Just a man sitting in a metal chair.

she squinted her eyes a little took a moment to consider it.

He watched the tiny pause in her movements, weighing risk and benefit. In the end, she chose information over a thin layer of "security". Rational choice. Besides, everyone behind the mirror wanted to see his face properly too.

"thank you very much milady and you can call feyd for short"

He dipped his head a fraction, letting the title sit in the air between them. Playing the role of polite visiting royalty cost him nothing and made them more inclined to believe his story.

" are all the gods in your imperium as polite as you, Feyd"

She slid more into the chair opposite him, back straight, hands folded on the table in front of her. On the surface, it looked like small talk. Underneath, it was still data collection. How he reacted to being called a god. How attached he was to the Imperium.

" manners maketh man milady, politeness is a virtue that has been long since instilled in me"

He met her eyes dead-on as he said it, letting the old-world phrasing roll off his tongue deliberately. Let her think he came from an empire obsessed with etiquette and hierarchy. That made him more valuable to his empire and if he was valuable then that'll make them think twice before deciding to cause him any harm.

"that's nice. so you've been in berlin over a week you said"

She shifted the conversation back to timeline with almost invisible smoothness. No obvious interrogation techniques, no aggressive pressure. Just a gentle, constant nudge.

"I've been on this planet over a week, and I must say it's quite the quaint little place"

The corner of his mouth twitched up. He did not bother hiding the slight condescension in his tone. Let them think the Imperium was so far above them that Earth barely registered. It'll made his request for "help settling in" sound less like manipulation and more like indulgence.

"and why exactly are you here"

"If you mean here as in this ship it's because I've identified it as the headquarters of your

best defence force so I came to introduce myself and I'm also hoping that you guys will help me

settle in. If your asking why I'm on this planet however well its because I'm on a sabbatical, sort

of like a Rite of passage to experience the universe a little more before I take on more duties"

He kept his tone light, almost conversational, like he was talking about a gap year instead of walking into a top-level global defence asset uninvited.

"right, and your father just sent out his heir to the throne by himself to the universe"

She leaned back slightly, folding her arms this time, letting a touch of disbelief colour her voice.

"never said I came by myself"

"and where exactly are your companions"

Her fingers flexed once on the table, tiny movement, but he caught it. Behind the mirror, someone was probably already gesturing at a tech to widen the search parameters.

"in my ship"

No elaboration. No extra details. too many details would lead to more chances of making a mistake so he just stuck to the scrip.

"and where is you ship"

She emphasised the where slightly. Location meant threat level. Orbital? Hidden on Earth? Hyperspace? Context decided whether they called in extra assets.

"in space"

He kept his answer flat, not even pretending to be helpful. The space above Earth was big enough that his ship might as well have been in another solar system, no away to find it without his cooperation.

"a lot of one word answers Feyd, where exactly is this imperium, I mean I've never heard of it,

especially with how GRAND you make it sound"

She tilted her head, eyes narrowing just a fraction. Poking at his ego a little, trying to get him to brag. People with long titles and capes usually loved to talk.

"no surprise there" he answered, "after all the imperium is not even in this galaxy, ill actually be quite surprised if

you knew of it seeing as your civilisation hasn't even occupied your solar system yet, though at the

same time Midgard is a protectorate of asgard"

He did not rush the answer. Letting the words "not even in this galaxy" sink into everyone listening. He watched the flicker in her eyes at the mention of "Midgard" and "Asgard".

"you know about asgard do you?"

Her tone went a little flatter there, more careful. Knowing Asgard meant knowing about at least one major power tied to their planet. That changed the risk profile around him.

"Of course, you don't enter a backyard without first knowing the house's owner.

speaking of, you wouldn't happen to have a way to contact asgard would you, I need to do my

part and introduce myself to the allfather of the nine realms"

He said it like he was asking for a phone number, knowing well that they wouldn't. if they did that would complicate tings.

"we can get back to that later. so what exactly is your plan"

"Well", he said as he stood up breaking the ankle shackles while taking a step and sting

on the metal table that's between them eyes locked into hers while she gripped her pistol ready to

draw and fire.

The sound of the shackles snapping was loud in the small room, metal giving way like cheap plastic. The table creaked as his weight settled on it. She had her hand on her gun instantly, body angled to give her the cleanest line of fire. Her face barely changed.

"im hoping that you will provide me with a place to stay, and please a house of my stature would be much appreciated,

anything less will be terribly uncomfortable, and it must be a place that can accommodate at

least 9 people, my servants will also need a space to rest while they attend to me, and since I

can't be expected to live here free of charge. in return for this arrangement ill do some work with you, for a price. You

will come to understand that im quite the capable warrior, songs have been sung of might in battle, of

course we'll need to workout the particulars of this contract properly".

As he finished he stood up.

broke the handcuffs in the process showing no effort at all and walked to the one way mirror

before doing a short wave, once again causing the interrogator and the other two behind the

mirror to unholster their guns. With his eyes still locked on the two behind the glass he added.

"and I must add I'm quite impressed with you milady, your skills are top notch. getting me to

naturally reveal information about myself through natural conversation inquiries all the while not

having even given me your name".

He looked back at her as he said it, letting the compliment land exactly where it needed to. It was not just flattery. He genuinely meant it. In one short conversation, she had pulled out his claimed identity, his claimed origin, his claimed political ties, and his immediate objectives.

And she still had not given him her real name. plus with him shining light on it, it muddies the whole interrogation now they'll also start wandering if he simply played them while she was trying to play him, adding a little cover to any wholes in his story.
