Didn't take long for me to arrive at my new residence in the Scavenger Guild HQ it was a spacious room, and to be completely honest, it felt like a five-star hotel in both ambiance and furnishings.
And I couldn't decide if that made it comfortable or not; I always had mixed feelings over hotel rooms.

I sat at the edge of my new bed, taking a look at my system. All in all, my stats were decent, and I could confidently call myself a high-ranking A-Rank Hunter.
Grabbing the remote to the TV, I was met with news that was definitely a surprise to me.
Sung Jinwoo had finally managed to get out of the double dungeon alive as its only survivor.
And you may ask, how in the world was this broadcast that was supposed to be only for Korea manage to reach me here in the States?
Well... we have my system to thank for that.
[I'm guessing you know him?]
"More or less..."
[Ashborn had finally chosen his vessel, I see...]
"You act as if I know what you're talking about."
[That's because you do, don't even try to hide it.]
[I know for a fact you know that I'm the Time Monarch.]
"No idea what you're talking about..."
[Irritating brat...]
"You should try to learn a thing or two from Ashborn; he seems nicer than you."
I swat away at the annoying notifications and return to my stats. I had a few remaining points, and while I didn't really know my class's specialty, it was clear that mana would definitely be an important factor.
And with my new arsenal and abilities, I didn't really need to invest more in physical attributes.

[Task: Clear The A-Rank Dungeon]
[Rewards: Outfit]
[Penalty: Death]
[Time Limit: 24:00:00]
[Granted: A-Rank Dungeon Key]
Straight for an A-Rank dungeon?
I didn't even get to do the simple 100 push-up training regimen or whatever...? Well, I guess that made sense. With my current stats, training like that was barely even an issue or a challenge.
"Let me get my equipment first..."
I stand up from my bed, stretching my arms.
But just as expected, I wasn't even given the time to prepare... guess I pissed off my system more than I had initially hoped.
[A-Rank Dungeon Key Used]
"Oh fuck me..."
That was the last words I uttered until the dungeon straight up appeared below me and consumed me whole, I didn't even get to enter in my own accord.
***
THUD!
I didn't even get to breathe as my back landed on hard stone.
Great... I was now in a dungeon with nothing but a literal t-shirt and jeans, but at least my arsenal could be accessed from the inventory remotely; that was the only good thing about this situation.
"Note to self... don't piss off a primordial entity who chose you as a vessel."
I opened my palm, a small radiant stone appearing as it began to morph into my chosen weapon.
And of course, I picked no other than a good old reliable rifle.
And if things get worse, I could easily swap to a different weapon when close-quarters combat is completely unavoidable.
"Now let's see-"
The moment I even moved my legs, a literal fireball flew towards me.
[Chrono Blink]
BOOM!
The fireball exploded harmlessly onto the dungeon's walls, but my heart rate definitely spiked due to it.
What the hell was that!?
And after looking at the direction where it came from... I didn't even need to ask.
It was a fire wyrm, and quite a large one at that; it was the same size as a huge van.
"Time to get to work..."
