"So this is Goku's youngest son." A blue-haired woman said as she looked at Goten who was standing near Gohan.
"Didn't he look just like Dad," Gohan said while smiling.
"It's like I have gone back in time." She said as she sat down to meet Goten at his dye level.
"I was hoping to introduce him to Trunks. I am really busy with my studies so I was hoping that he would become friends with him so that Goten won't be lonely." Gohan said.
"Sure but you have to wait for a while, Trunks is still studying with his tutor." She said.
"So how is Chichi doing?" She asked.
"Mom is doing alright. She seems much happier these days." Gohan replied.
"Son-kun can be pretty inconsiderate, leaving behind his family." She said as she sighed.
Goten looked at the blonde-haired woman who seemed to be reminiscing about his father.
The Bulma woman's name is Bulma and she is a close friend of Gohan and Goten's father, in fact, she has known him since he was a child.
"Mom. I am finished." Then a boy who seemed to be around Goten's age appeared as he entered the room where Bulma, Gohan, and Goten were.
"Gohan. Are you here to play with me?" He said, looking at Gohan.
"Huh? Who is this guy?" He then asked as he saw Goten who was standing near Gohan.
"Trunks. This is my brother Goten." Gohan said to Trunks as he introduced Goten to him.
"He is one year younger than you so you have to look after him. Okay." Bulma said to Trunks.
And that was the first meeting between Goten and Trunks.

"Hey, are you sure this is going to be fun?" Trunks asked Goten as he looked at the boy who was one year younger than him.
"Sure. I already tried this with Gohan and it is really fun." Goten replied.
He then took a fighting stance that Goku had taken in the past as he smiled at Trunks.
Of course, he was not trained by Goku but he subconsciously copied Goku's fighting stance that he used in the past when fighting Vegeta in the past.
He didn't even know that he subconsciously used it.
"Then here I come." Trunks said as he dashed towards Goten.
Trunks throws a punch at Goten but Goten blocks the attack with both of his arms by crossing them into an "x" shape.
Goten then pushed Trunks back but Trunks immediately dashed in again as soon as his feet hit the ground and he was given the opportunity to bounce back.
Goten also threw a punch at Trunks but Trunks evaded his attack by moving his neck a bit to the left.
The two then simultaneously threw a kick at each other at the same time as their legs clashed.
Both of them are only a few years old and they are already fighting at a level that most adults would not even dream of without receiving any type of real training.
Both of them are just relying on their instincts.
Goten has trained his body a little more compared to Trunks but Trunks was older and had a small height advantage and weight advantage.
They were almost evenly matched with no one being able to land a proper clean hit on their opponent.
Then suddenly Goten saw a small opening when Trunks missed one of his attacks.
He immediately transformed into Super Saiyan, and then grabbed Trunks' arm and threw him over his shoulder.
Trunks lies on the ground as he is suddenly taken aback by Goten's sudden growth in power.
"Hey. What was that, what did you do?" Trunks immediately got up and looked at Goten with enthusiasm in his eyes.
"Huh?" Goten was confused.
"Don't huh me. The golden hair, how do you even do that?" Trunks asked.
"You mean Super Saiyan?" Goten asked.
"Yeah. I want to do it too. I also want to become golden and be even more awesome than I already am." Trunks asked.
"Sure. It's really easy. All you have to do is feel the weird tingling feeling on your back." Goten replied.
"Huh. You mean like this?" Trunks asked as he also transformed into Super Saiyan.
Both Goten and Trunks have insane potential as the sons of two of the strongest warriors in their universe so Trunks was also able to become Super Saiyan easily just by a small piece of advice that he received from Goten.
Even if he didn't receive the tip he would eventually figure out how to become one even if he never knew the existence of Super Saiyan.
"Cool. I feel faster and stronger than ever before." Trunks said.
"So this is Super Yasai?" he said.
"It's not Yasai. It's Saiyan." Goten corrected him.
"Who cares about that name. Now let's continue. This time with my new awesome power I will show you how awesome I am." Trunks said.
"My pleasure," Goten replied as the two continued their play-fighting.
They didn't fly in the air, use any kinds of ki attacks, and only fought hand-to-hand in their Super Saiyan forms until one of them fell to the ground.
After a while Trunks who was older emerged victorious although just barely as he also fell to the ground a few seconds after Goten because of exhaustion.
Both of them converse with each other as they revert to normal from their Super Saiyan form.
"You are right. This is really fun. This is way more fun than the game that my mom bought." Trunks said as he lay flat on the ground.
"I told you," Goten replied.
He lost the fight but he still had fun.
He wondered if this was the feeling that Goku got when he lost the first martial arts tournament that he participated in.
When he first read that part in the Dragon Ball manga he was pissed because he felt that Goku should have won and he should not have to face someone who had over a hundred years of experience over him as a beginner.
But now he realized that Goku would have been really happy even though he lost a fight against an opponent older and stronger than him because he had fun in the end.
