When she remembered the note she'd found next to Lucas's crib, she grew anxious as it burned in her mind. That simple piece of paper had transformed a moment of joy into terrible unease.
Eduardo, wearing a dark suit, walked through the mansion like a general preparing his headquarters. Beside him, two robust, discreetly dressed men received instructions.
"I want surveillance on all entrances..." Eduardo ordered firmly. "Double security in the twins' room, cameras checked every hour. If anyone dares cross that door without permission, you know what to do. I don't want any suspicious shadows lurking around here. Your attention must be doubled with every movement."
