Chapter 80 - Chapter 81 – Saturday Noon

The sun was already higher in the sky when we left the forest. Before us lay the lake, smooth as a mirror, harshly reflecting the light. The sky was so bright that I had to squint. A gust of wind carried the smell of algae and wood, mixed with the metallic clicking of cameras that sounded everywhere.

At the shore, the teachers had set up a gathering place – boxes with ropes, tarps, buckets. Voices buzzed about, the water glittered as if it might wake up at any moment.

"Next task," explained one of the teachers, "you'll photograph scenes in your groups that show togetherness. No posed selfies, but real moments. Use your creativity."

Fiona immediately thrust her hand up. "So basically: we build something, mess around, laugh, and I document everything."

"Or we stop you from getting yourself wet in the lake," Jonas muttered, rolling his eyes.

"Ha!" she countered, "I'm waterproof."
