Poof—

Poof—

Grendel and the gold-armored Celestial Group almost simultaneously stabbed their weapons into each other's vital points.

Although the heavily wounded Grendel did not die on the spot, he fell into a deep slumber.

His body lay motionless in the deep pit, as if merged with this barren Planet.

After an unknown period of time, a stumbling, weak figure appeared before Grendel's "corpse."

The figure swayed, as if about to collapse at any moment.

Perhaps sensing the other party's uncontrollable hatred for so-called "Gods" in their heart, the All-Black Necrosword in Grendel's hand, which had pierced the heart of the gold-armored Celestial, spontaneously transformed its shape, wriggling like a puddle of mud and burrowing into the figure's arm.

The scene abruptly ended there, as Grendel clutched Eddie Brock's neck, his expression as ferocious as a demon, and said:

"The All-Black Necrosword…my first creation, was taken from me like that, and has since been owned by a wretch who dishonors its name!"

His eyes were filled with anger and unwillingness, "It's like the high and mighty Dark King suddenly bestows upon you a gift you cannot comprehend…"

"Can you understand how insane that thief became when he discovered that this divine weapon I forged would grant him the 'God-slaying power'?"

Grendel's voice carried a hint of mockery, as if teasing a helpless prey.

Who would have thought that, faced with Grendel's slightly mocking casual question, Eddie Brock's answer was exceptionally serious, even revealing a strong sense of determination and fanaticism in his eyes.

"Yes…yes, I can understand that feeling, because the Symbiote is as important as life to me. For the Symbiote…I am even willing to give up my life!"

This man, who longed for power and revenge, truly realized that his "opportunity" had finally arrived.

His heart pounded rapidly, as if it would burst from his chest; he knew he had to seize this opportunity no matter what!

"Tsk tsk tsk, very good, that's an excellent answer…You've successfully earned yourself the chance to 'continue living.'"

A wicked glint flashed in Grendel's eyes as he continued to tempt him, "So…do you want to continue admiring how I created the Symbiote race?"

"Of course…"

Eddie Brock instantly got into character, his expression seamlessly transitioning, like the most devout believer, he slightly lowered his head and softly chanted Grendel's name, "Great Dark King, God of Symbiotes…please show me!"

Grendel let out a triumphant, sinister laugh, its echo in the dark space sending shivers down one's spine.

Then, he once again recounted the tale, and Eddie Brock's consciousness, following Grendel's voice, re-entered that special state.

It was still that barren Planet.

Gale-force winds howled, and yellow sand filled the sky, as if to swallow the entire World.

It's unknown how much time passed, perhaps a hundred years…or even longer. In any case, the deep pit where Grendel and the gold-armored Celestial lay had long been covered by wind and sand.

But when an unknown alien creature, similar in size to a cat or dog, covered in rough scales, passed over Grendel's buried head, the long-starved desire within him to devour life finally succeeded in reawakening him.

Grendel extended his gnarled, withered hand and lightning-fast seized the alien creature.

"Squeak, squeak, squeak…"

The alien creature struggled desperately in Grendel's hand, emitting sharp, short howls.

However, Grendel did not rush to devour this alien creature; instead, a hint of doubt appeared on his face.

When he attempted to establish a connection between the "Living Abyss Force" within him and this smaller creature, something strange happened.

A hint of surprise and fanaticism flashed in his eyes; he realized that he could actually create a new form…no, to be precise, an "amorphous" Living Darkness!

(Note: Living Darkness is a general term for Symbiote and parasites named Exolon. The former only devours the host's body, while the latter feeds on the host's soul. Both were created by Grendel.)

Grendel felt this miraculous change, and at the same time, he also discovered that he could continuously draw power from these creatures possessed by "Living Darkness."

This feeling was as if a floodgate of power had opened for him, filling him with immense joy.

In addition, he could freely access all kinds of information from the other party's brain, just like flipping through an open book.

A wicked smile curled on Grendel's lips, looking particularly sinister in this desolate environment.

Thus, before long, all creatures living on this nearly barren Planet became his experimental subjects under Grendel's frantic experiments.

This Planet was already full of deathly silence, and now it was enveloped by an even more eerie atmosphere.

The creatures on the Planet struggled in fear, yet could not escape Grendel's control.

And this Planet quietly became the "starting point" for all the disasters that would unfold in the Universe!

This time, Grendel had clearly learned from his previous two failures of "going it alone."

He stood on a towering rock, the strong wind wildly blowing his White hair, his eyes filled with uncontrollable ambition.

So, he then utilized the Symbiote's ability to parasitize hosts, and in a very short period of time, successfully created a Symbiote army.

The Symbiotes surged like a black tide, emitting chilling sounds.

And he himself transformed into a presence like a Main Brain or Hive Mind, connecting the consciousness of the entire Symbiote army with his own thoughts.

He closed his eyes, concentrating, feeling the invisible bond with the Symbiote army.

In this way, even if he and his Symbiote army were tens of thousands of light-years apart, he could still 'see what they saw,' 'feel what they felt'…and even precisely possess and control any individual among them.

He seemed to have become the master of the Universe, controlling this terrifying force.

Soon, Grendel's Symbiote army, like a surging torrent, swept across countless Planets.

Wherever they went, life was devastated, and Planets were engulfed by endless darkness.

From initially only slaughtering "Gods," it gradually evolved into destroying and ruining every Planet with life forms encountered by the Symbiote army, shattering every ray of nascent "light," turning the World back into darkness, and gradually dimming the light…thereby expanding the scale of his exclusive Dark Domain.

The Universe echoed with sounds of fear and despair, and Grendel grew even more insane in this dark revelry.

To further accelerate and improve efficiency, Grendel once again changed the form of the Symbiote.

Using his will, he commanded the Symbiote army, which had originally fought independently, to merge and transform, ultimately forming an unprecedentedly powerful black Symbiote Dragon legion.

These Symbiote Dragons were enormous in size, with evil flames burning in their eyes.

And these Symbiote Dragons, which could maintain their form without possessing a host, were known as—Grendel!

But what Grendel never expected was that when he extended his tentacles to the other end of the Universe—Earth, which was in its ancient period at the time—and dispatched a Symbiote Dragon there to slaughter the ancient humans, who were then in a small, docile, and defenseless stage, he unexpectedly encountered the King of the Gods, Odin, in his prime.

That day, the sky suddenly became turbulent with strong winds, and then Odin descended from the Bifrost Bridge with an aura of destruction.

Even Grendel's consciousness was drawn by the powerful 'light' emanating from Odin, and he proactively descended his 'consciousness' onto that Symbiote Dragon, preparing to observe up close.

It was a powerful force that Grendel had never seen on any other Planet or on any of the miscellaneous "Gods" he had previously slaughtered, other than the Celestial Race.

The power emanating from Odin was as dazzling as the Sun, making Grendel feel a sense of unease.

And it was precisely this power that, in the ensuing battle, greatly weakened Grendel's control over the Symbiote Dragons scattered throughout the Universe.

Odin raised the Eternal Spear in his hand, using the Odin Force to unleash the cosmic mystique of the World Tree.

Instantly, a powerful beam of light shot from his hand, like a bolt of lightning, directly striking the Symbiote Dragon possessed by Grendel's consciousness.

The Symbiote Dragon let out an Earth-shattering roar, attempting to dodge, but the light was too fast and too powerful, hitting it directly.

Grendel, who hadn't had time to cancel his 'possession' state, suffered severe damage to his consciousness as a result.

He struggled painfully in the darkness, and his link with the Symbiote army was forcibly severed.

And those Symbiote Dragons that had lost Grendel's control dispersed back into their original form…tiny, mud-like individuals.

They roamed various Planets in the Universe, and in order to survive, countless Symbiotes were forced to seek new hosts.

In this process, tens of thousands of Symbiotes possessed benevolent alien races, and from these hosts, they learned what kindness was, what justice was, what peace was, and what compassion was!

The countless crimes committed in the past filled these Symbiotes, infected by good intentions, with immense shame and anger.

So they collectively defected, spontaneously returning to the barren Planet where Grendel was located, and launched a rebellion against Grendel…ultimately successfully imprisoning Grendel in the center of a 'living Planet' wrapped by countless Symbiotes.

This "living Planet" is the so-called Symbiote Homeworld—Klyntar Planet!

And this Planet actually has another name, a more fitting name—Prison!

The scene before Eddie Brock ended with countless Symbiotes converging into a giant asteroid…

His eyes still held incredible shock, and his breathing unconsciously became rapid and heavy.

That 'memory scene' was simply too shocking, even completely shattering his previous understanding of this World.

Grendel looked at Eddie Brock with an amused gaze, a playful smile on his face, and said:

"As you finally saw, my children were influenced by the 'light' emanating from the hosts they possessed, and they broke free from my control…"

He shook his head slightly, a hint of unwillingness flashing in his eyes, "I personally created this Living Darkness, but in the end, I was also submerged by the 'darkness' they created…and Klyntar is where my true form is now; I have quietly waited here for nearly ten thousand years!"

His voice echoed in this dark space, carrying a sense of vicissitude and helplessness.

"So, do you understand now?"

Grendel continued, "This is the origin of the Symbiote, and the process of the Symbiote Homeworld, Klyntar, forming, and even more, it is the secret and truth of those traitors betraying me!"

His eyes were fixed on Eddie Brock, as if observing his reaction, "How about it? Do you suddenly feel very disappointed now, that these powerful Symbiotes you once regarded as Gods are, in the end, just a group of weak traitors?"

"No, I would never think that."

Eddie Brock shook his head without hesitation, his eyes filled with determination and persistence, "My feelings for the Symbiote will never change…If you truly are the Symbiote God, then can you resurrect the Symbiote that I once relied on, its name is Anti-Venom!"

His voice trembled slightly, but it was full of anticipation.

"Huh?"

This answer clearly greatly surprised Grendel; he frowned slightly, couldn't help but re-examine this weak and timid human before him, and then said with an approving expression:

"I seem to understand now why those other humans who came with you couldn't 'awaken' my consciousness, and only you succeeded…No wonder my children like you so much!"

A meaningful smile appeared on his face.

"Don't doubt it, resurrecting a Symbiote is as easy as pie for me…but the prerequisite is that I can successfully escape from Klyntar!"

"Really?!"

Hearing that Grendel actually had a way to resurrect Anti-Venom, Eddie Brock's eyes widened, his face filled with unconcealed joy, and his heart was even more overjoyed.

He had not held much hope for such a thing.

Who would have thought…

The 'dream' actually came true?

Compared to re-possessing other Symbiotes, what Eddie Brock truly favored and missed most in his heart was his sworn brother, Anti-Venom, who had once shared hardships with him and had been despised and hunted alongside him!
