Chapter 38 - Chapter 38: This Woman is Not Ordinary

"Who are you?" Lee Jordan was the first to stand up.

Speaking of which, this room full of Gryffindors, plus Harry and Ron who were destined for Gryffindor, definitely didn't lack courage.

Even when facing three adult wizards.

"Avada Kedavra!"

With no extra nonsense, the masked man directly threw out the green light.

The young wizards were greatly alarmed!

Using Avada at the slightest disagreement—this was crazier than a Death Eater!

The green light shot straight for Lee Jordan. The young Black man watched as green was about to fill his entire vision, and his life already began to flash before his eyes.

An orange beam of light shot out and collided with the Killing Curse, blocking its advance.

Following the orange beam, the source of the magic came from the tip of Audrey's raised wand.

Obviously, these dark wizards, who weren't even half as strong as Lucius Malfoy, were purely overestimating themselves trying to compete with Audrey's magic power.

The orange quickly overwhelmed the green and advanced rapidly toward the masked man.

The masked man acted decisively, stopped his magic output, and dodged to the side. Audrey's beam of magic flew past his shoulder, shattering the glass window on the other side of the corridor. A fierce mountain wind instantly blew into the carriage, making the three masked men's robes flap loudly.

"Audrey Astley, don't resist. Come with us!"

Audrey stood up from her seat. Jinhu jumped onto the small table. These were small fries; Audrey could easily handle them alone.

She raised her wand. "Just the three of you? I'm afraid you're not capable of taking me away!"

Audrey had the confidence for this.

You have to understand, what kind of life had she been living these past two months?

She had been chased and beaten for two months by that man, the man who made the entire European wizarding world tremble!!

'My friends, who could possibly understand!'

So what if her constitution was attuned to magic? So what if her talent was immense?

Grindelwald taught her one truth:

'Your elder will always be your elder!'

Under Emperor Grindelwald's supreme magical skills, Audrey had been trained miserably!

But so what?

After Grindelwald's special training, the current Audrey already surpassed the vast majority of wizards!

A rough estimate: she was at least as strong as three Luciuses!

So after the first clash with the masked man, she came to a conclusion: the enemy was no threat, and her side had a massive advantage!

"Can't take you?" The leader of the masked men suddenly sneered. "You can try fighting us here. We just can't guarantee the safety of the students."

This was a threat, a naked threat.

The leader stepped forward, holding out his palm. "Hurry, give me your wand, and come with me. If you want all your classmates to die, you can disobey me!"

Audrey, however, just smiled faintly, and her entire person suddenly disappeared from the carriage.

She had used her Demiguise-like premonition to see what would happen in the next minute and a half.

She couldn't be bothered to switch constitutions and just vanished.

'Use magic? No need!'

'How could the mixed martial arts skills I trained so hard for in my past life go to waste?'

Audrey's current physical strength was comparable to a 5X magical creature!

'A human-shaped dragon, get it?'

The masked leader was still surprised by Audrey's disappearance when, the next second, a fist print appeared on his mask, caving it in completely.

After a muffled grunt, he fell straight backward and achieved an infant-like sleep.

The other two were shocked. One of them decisively raised his wand, its tip beginning to glow green, and pointed it into the carriage.

'No matter how that damn girl did it, the carriage is narrow. If he just shoots Avada randomly, he'll eventually hit her!'

However, before he could act, he suddenly suffered a heavy blow to the abdomen. He doubled over, vomiting violently, almost bringing up last night's dinner.

But he was wearing a mask, the kind without a mouth opening...

Thus, a "rainbow" immediately filled the space inside the mask and leaked out from the sides and chin...

The young wizards in the carriage didn't show any fear of nearly being killed by Avada. Instead, they all made disgusted faces.

"Ewww\\\\"

"Gross..."

"That's so disgusting!"

It must be said, this was very Gryffindor!

And very Weasley-twin!

Fortunately, the invisible Audrey didn't let this masked man suffer for long. A karate chop to his neck, and the masked man instantly fainted.

Clatter!

The door connecting the train cars opened, and the prefects and the train conductor appeared.

"What happened here?"

The last masked man saw the situation was bad, immediately jumped out of the window Audrey had broken, and swished away as soon as he landed.

Audrey's figure reappeared in her seat. She placed Jinhu on her lap, then propped her chin on her right hand, pretending to look at the scenery outside the train—the place where the Hogwarts Express had temporarily stopped truly had no scenery. In front of her was just a mess of mountain rocks and overgrown weeds.

Her voice came out eerily: "You all saw nothing, right?"

She didn't want to get involved in troublesome matters. Pretending to know nothing was the best result. But before that, she needed to handle the people in this compartment.

"Audrey," Ron said in amazement, "You're so cool! How did you do that?"

"I didn't, it wasn't me, don't talk nonsense!"

Audrey's triple denial confused Ron. He couldn't imagine why Audrey would deny doing it, especially when she was so amazing and had clearly done the right thing.

Audrey's brain worked fast. She needed a reason to convince this compartment of Gryffindors.

"Ron, you have to know, you always keep an ace up your sleeve," Audrey said, though she maintained her pose of watching the scenery. "If you let others know your trump card, you can't catch them by surprise next time!"

"So, everyone here, do me a favor. Don't tell anyone about this, okay?"

The footsteps of the conductor and prefects were already very close.

The twins looked at each other. They found that what Audrey said made a lot of sense!

'Isn't that just like pulling a prank? If you let someone know how you're going to get them, can the prank even succeed?'

"Oh my, how did these two men suddenly faint?"

George's acting was extremely exaggerated. He walked out of the compartment, pretending to be shocked.

"Yeah, yeah!" Fred yelled, his acting on par with his brother's. "This is so strange."

In reality, Audrey didn't need to find a reason. This whole compartment was full of her fans. As long as she asked, who wouldn't comply?

Percy appeared at the compartment door, his face full of alarm. "Ron, George, Fred! Are you alright!"

Fred laughed loudly: "Our prefect brother is here,"

George also laughed, "He finally knows how to care about his little brothers!"

Percy anxiously ran his hands through his red hair. "I'm serious! Tell me, what happened here?"

"Alright, sir," George said, "Three masked men came, wanting to kidnap Audrey,"

Fred continued, "Maybe they wanted to take Audrey home to hear her sing?"

George: "Yes, there are plenty of perverts like that!"

"And then a troll appeared!"

"No, George, a troll wouldn't fit in this compartment,"

"Fine, then. A mysterious wizard appeared and defeated these two bad guys."

The veins on Percy's forehead were about to pop. Was this the time for jokes?

The tracks up ahead had been maliciously torn up, forcing the train to stop, and now an attempted kidnapping had occurred here. No matter how you looked at it, this was an organized, targeted crime!

"Ron," Percy looked at his little brother. "You tell me, what exactly happened?"

Ron secretly glanced at Audrey.

'This big sister really has composure. She's still admiring the "exotic rock" scenery outside!'

"Um, Percy," Ron stammered in reply, "Audrey was singing just now. You didn't hear it, she sang so beautifully... so I fell asleep. What happened here, I really don't know at all."

Harry and Lee's eyes lit up. Ron's mind worked fast!

"Yeah, yeah, we all fell asleep! We don't know anything!"

So the problem was tossed back to Percy.

He was a smart person who got O's in all twelve subjects. How could he not see that this entire compartment was acting for him?

And their purpose, clearly, was to cover something up.

Percy looked at Audrey, who was still intently watching the scenery...

So, should he believe them, or... should he believe them?
