Chapter 15 - Chapter 13:Child

Jay's POV:

"You are saying that she's your Ex. The mother of your child who's going to stay here with us?" his gaze lowered like he regretted telling me but there was no ounce of guilt for ruining me all over again.

"And who am I then? Some kind of a glamorous show piece right?"

He held my arms and tried to coax me, calm me down. Calm my foot.

"You married in front of the entire world, it was you who was desperate for a wedding and you have the freaking guts to tell me this? I never wanted to step in. You made me do that and now you have a whole grown child suddenly and apparently you are so fatherly now that can't hold separation from him? And most importantly, she remembered that her baby had a father after freaking years?"

"Jay Jay. I never knew it before if I would have-"

I cut him off. " If you would have then what? Then you wouldn't have married me? Right? Oh I am so sorry Mr Watson that I came in between as an obstacle."

"No! That's not it you are my wife but she needed assistance and d—"

"And the best way to give her assistance is bringing her to the same house you live with you wife? Wow great! You are indeed intelligent but let me tell you, even if we don't have anything as couple, I won't tolerate another women in my house. Either you tell me to leave or her. If you dare to double game me, remember I don't cry. I make others do that."

"Do you even ever listen to me?" This time he sounded irritated like it was all my fault, like it's the other way around. "You are not leaving anywhere!"

" I will!!Its either her or me. I have been hurt enough to watch suffocating myself while you are busy playing with your boy in his mother's arms."

I stormed out of the room like there was nothing holding me to him.

Keifer's POV:

I know I deserve it all. The irritation, angst and disappointment her voice carried was enough for me to bury my head somewhere.

She wasn't even well enough to go out but I couldn't stop her either.

"Shit! She forgot her cell phone." I scanned the hall to stop at the phone on centre table.

I ran out to follow her but I was stopped at mid by a chirpy voice lacing in the garden, "Daddy! I am here." Kaiz called me out, hopping on me so sudden that Jay's cell fell from my grip causing a crack.

Author's POV:

Jay was extremely cantic, sitting near the shore, unaware she was followed by press.

She didn't yet know why she felt an unbearable pain.

"Why? It was clear from day one. No strings attached but still I can feel myself drowning in a constant haze of fear and loneliness."

Her hands drawing patterns on sand, unrecognizable to a sane. "You have hurt me more than any man has ever done and I don't even have the right to curse you for that."

Meanwhile Keifer's heart and mind were busy thinking about how he could redeem the pain he had caused.

"Keifer. I don't think your wife would like us here." Ella whispered slowly while Kaiz nuzzled into the crook of his neck.

Keifer's eyes looked the smiling face of his son, concern for his wife without any information about her still striking his face. " That's between me and her. You don't need to think about it."

Ella flinched due to the sudden rudeness in his tone.

That was the first time ever Kiefer had talked like that with her. "She needs to be treated so she doesn't stare to obstruct me."

She muttered on a phone call in some corner of the house. While Keifer was still busy with his son.

"This mansion doesn't feel like home anymore." He said to himself, still bewildered between his priorities.

One was his wife he started to care about and the other was his own child, a little life he couldn't avoid.

"I wish I had told you that night. How much I wanted to give this relationship a chance. More than what the clauses depicted."

Meanwhile Jay sensed darkness around. It was end of the day now that sun decided to set again. She stood, sinking her feet into the sand deeper, she walked out of the beech and headed to Rakki's place.

Rakki opened her gate, still on a phone call, muttering in silence. "Yes she came to me. I will talk to her." She hung up and welcomed her best friend inside, made her sit on the couch and gave her a glass of water.

"Let me bring you something to eat." She said. It was the first time Jay didn't jump into her arms as soon as she opened the door or didn't ask her home cooked cookies. Her unusual silence twitched even Rakki.

That's when she hugged her tight. Dropping her armour of strength, finally giving in the stress in tears.
