Chapter 83 - Chapter 83 The Fake Prodigal

Ye Qiu looked directly at the seemingly stoic Fourth Prince of Tian Dou and calmly nodded.

  "That's right! I am."

  "Good~ Good!"

"In this Tian Dou Academy, there's actually someone who dares to hit one of my men?"

Clap clap! Xue Beng clapped his hands, seemingly applauding Ye Qiu's actions, but his eyes grew increasingly cold.

"Prince Xue Beng, what are you saying? When did I hit him?"

Ye Qiu spread his hands, looking innocent, his heart calm.

"I didn't even touch him! How can you slander someone's innocence out of thin air!"

"Hehe, since you know me, you should know! I said you hit him! You hit him!"

Xue Beng's face showed sarcasm, completely unwilling to argue with Ye Qiu about these roundabout things.

His strategy was to carry out his arrogance to the end!

Looking into his eyes, Ye Qiu always felt that Xue Beng was constantly sizing him up when he spoke.

  "So what do you want?"

Before Xue Beng could speak, Sabu Chu, lying on the stretcher, was already impatient.

"Brother Xue Beng, break his limbs! Break all five limbs!"

"Did you hear that? My brother said he'd break all five of your limbs!" His eyes, slightly unfocused from indulgence, held a smug look, as if he already had Ye Qiu under his thumb.

  "Heh. You can try!"

Ye Qiu finally understood that the other party was just looking for trouble.

"Alright! Then break his limbs! Go!"

As he gave the order, Xue Beng didn't forget to retreat, keeping his distance from Ye Qiu.

  "Brothers! Activate your Martial Souls!"

Swish! A dazzling array of Martial Souls flashed, making one's eyes spin.

"I wonder if Prince Xue Beng can bear the consequences if these people are missing limbs?"

Ye Qiu's voice was cold, his eyes turning into six-pointed stars. Faced with this situation, Susanoo seemed to be the best solution. If they really fought, many of these people would likely die.

However, he chose not to intervene.

Because his Sharingan had already sensed

, "Looking at the Heaven Dou Academy, this prince is the heaven! There's nothing I can't handle!"

"Is that so? It seems my good little brother has really made something of himself!"

Xue Beng had just finished his boastful words when a voice, both authoritative and mocking, rang in his ears.

  Instantly,

cold sweat appeared on his forehead.

The others also stopped what they were doing and looked in the direction from which the voice came.

Xue Qinghe, dressed in golden robes, slowly walked over.

  "Big brother!"

Like a mouse begging a cat, Xue Beng trembled all over in fear, his original arrogance turning into meekness.

"Tell them to stop! You can take responsibility for injuring my distinguished guest!?" Xue Qinghe shouted coldly, his calm face revealing anger.

"Yes, yes! Big brother, I'll make them stop right now." Xue Beng's head bobbed like a rattle drum, nodding repeatedly.

"You bastards! What are you doing still activating your martial souls! What if you frighten my big brother's distinguished guest? Do you believe I'll kill you all! Huh?"

He switched between humble and arrogant manners with ease.

Ye Qiu had to admire his acting skills; no wonder he could survive until the end and become the puppet emperor of this lowly scoundrel.

Everyone retracted their martial spirits as instructed, and Ye Qiu approached Xue Qinghe.

  "Thank you, Your Highness!"

"Brother Ye Qiu, there's no need for such formalities. I already know the whole story; it was my foolishness that led to this!"

Facing Ye Qiu, Xue Qinghe had abandoned his imposing manner, displaying only friendliness.

"Xue Beng! Hurry up and apologize to Brother Ye Qiu!"

"Alright, alright! I'm coming." Xue Beng's expression was somewhat forced; clearly, he was embarrassed in front of everyone.

"Brother Ye Qiu, I'm truly sorry!"

His head was bowed, his expression slightly distorted, filled with resentment and bitterness.

When he looked up again, his face was full of a fawning smile.

"Well, Brother Ye Qiu, are you satisfied? If not, I'll punish them myself!"

"No need!" Ye Qiu stopped Xue Qinghe, staring at Xue Beng with a strange look, a flash of red light in his eyes.

"I want to do it myself."

"Brother! That's absolutely impossible!" Xue Beng's expression changed.

"Do it yourself?" Xue Qinghe frowned, somewhat embarrassed.

"Brother Ye Qiu, I am, after all, a member of the royal family. This is against the rules!"

"Yes! This is against the rules!" He, Xue Beng, a prince, how could he allow a commoner to deal with him?

"Don't worry, I know what I'm doing! I just want to punish him a little!" Ye Qiu pointed to Sabu Chu, who was lying on the stretcher.

Of course, Ye Qiu wouldn't be foolish enough to cause trouble for a prince in public; the Tian Dou royal family also had its pride.

"Hmm?" Xue Qinghe also looked at the stretcher, then nodded in agreement.

"No, no! Your Highness, I was wrong."

Sabu Chu's wails and pleas for mercy were to no avail.

Ye Qiu didn't lift a finger either.

Xue Qinghe's eyes flashed with surprise.

Under everyone's noses, Xue Beng's eyes became dazed.

He slowly walked to the stretcher like a walking corpse and grabbed Sabu Chu by the hand.

His wails grew louder and louder.

"Ah, Brother Xue Beng! No... Ah!!" He

roared, his voice shrill and heart-wrenching.

  Torture, lingering pain, utter destruction.

Since he wanted to break his limbs, Ye Qiu wouldn't be polite and directly confiscated the tools of his trade.

If treatment wasn't timely, and the wounds scabbed over and healed on their own, then he would truly live up to his name!

Xue Qinghe's expression was somewhat unnatural, and he cursed inwardly.

He gave Ye Qiu a subtle glare, his tone carrying a barely perceptible hint of annoyance.

"How is it, are you satisfied?"

  "Acceptable!" Ye Qiu nodded.

"I suppose you've already eaten, so let me see you off and we can chat while we're at it! How about it?"

"How could I refuse a prince's offer to see me off?"

After a few polite words, the two turned and left.

  "Hehe~!" Once

they were out of sight, Xue Beng, regaining his senses, let out a few strange laughs, somewhat contemptuous and chilling.

'I thought my good brother had met some peerless genius! Turns out his soul skill is just illusion.'

He licked the blood from his hands, a morbidly satisfied look on his face, a crimson mist flashing in his eyes, radiating an evil aura.

With a blink of an eye, he returned to normal, once again becoming an ordinary playboy.

Lying on the stretcher, Sabu Chu's face and lips were pale, and his teeth were trembling.

  "Brother Xue Beng."

"Shut up! If it weren't for the pair of catgirls your father gave me last time, I'd kill you right now!"

Xue Beng roared. If it weren't for Ye Qiu's boasting about how powerful he was, why would he have bothered coming here to test him and suffer this humiliation?

He exerted force again, delivering a second blow.

Sabu Chu let out another scream and fainted.

  "Someone, throw him back!"

Xue Beng waved his hand dismissively. A useless piece of trash who had lost his basic abilities and couldn't inherit the family business was of no value to him anymore.

"Hmph!" He flicked his sleeve and left.

He would avenge this humiliation one day!
