As they exit the infirmary, they spot Melody hurrying towards the exit.
Melody: *She collides with Goku, who's standing with Vegeta near the doorway.* Oh! I'm terribly sorry, I didn't see you there!
Goku: *He steadies her by placing a hand on her shoulder.* No worries! Great fight out there, by the way. You've got some impressive moves.
Melody: *Her eyes widen once she realized who she's talking to.* Th-thank you, Goku! Coming from you that means a everything.
Vegeta: *He inched closer, arms crossed.* Where did you learn to fight like that, girl? I've never seen techniques quite like yours before.
Melody: *She fidgets with her hair, avoiding Vegeta's intense gaze.* Oh, you know... here and there. I've picked up a few things over the years.
Vegeta: That's not an answer. *He narrowed his eyes.* Who trained you?
Melody: *She straightens her posture, meeting Vegeta's gaze.* I'm self-taught, actually. I've always been fascinated by martial arts and energy manipulation.
Goku: Wow, self-taught? *He grins widely, clearly impressed.* That's amazing! You are a natural.
Vegeta: Impossible. *He scoffs.* Those techniques are far too advanced for a self-taught fighter.
Melody: *She shrugs nonchalantly.* I'm a quick learner. Plus, I've had some great inspiration.
Her eyes flick to Goku briefly, a look of admiration crossed her face.
Goku: *He scratched his head, grinning.* Well, however you learned, you sure gave us all a run for our money.
Vegeta: *He growls under his breath.* Kakarot, don't be so naive. There's more to this girl than she's letting on.
Melody: *She takes a step back.* I should really be going. It was an honor to compete, as it was to meet the both of you.
Goku: *He waves as she turns to leave.* Hope to see you at the next tournament, Melody!
Vegeta: *He watched her take her leave with narrowed eyes.* Oh, we'll be seeing her again, very soon. I'll make sure of that.
