Neil checked his status panel and just as he had expected…
[(Diamond): 1 / 5]
His strength had definitely increased greatly, but the Rank and class in the status panel remained the same.
Once he completely fills his core with Bronze Gene Points, only then will his class change in the status panel.
Otherwise, even if he fills Mythic or Diamond, it will still display None.
After he fills Bronze fully, the panel will show Bronze only, and it won't change again unless he fills Silver, even if the other gene points are already completed.
"I guess I will have to fill up bronze and other gene points first."
Neil was sure his strength was still far from the Magma Bima he had faced before.
After all, that creature was diamond class and Neil needs to kill four more diamond class creatures and a lot of lower class creatures to reach that class.
There are several cores in the chest of all awakened people, which were formed at the time of awakening.
Each of these cores gets filled with gene points, and directly represent a person's strength.
And based on the class of territory they choose, the highest class they can reach is decided.
In Neil's case, he can go as high as Mythic class, if someone choose a silver class domain, then they could only go up to silver class.
They cannot even absorb anything higher than that.
"Nemo, aside from my class, what do you think exactly is my current strength level?" Neil questioned, picking up the final reward from the loot.
It was a cube glowing with a faint white light.
"You are still not at the Gold class but very close, that's what I feel." Nemo answered with uncertainty.
Neil didn't ponder on that for now, he would test his strength later on.
"Now what's this?"
『
[Diamond Familiar Stone]
[Description]: A familiar stone which could either be used to summon the 1st Origin Diamond class familiar or to increase the strength of your familiar to that level.
』
"Oh a familiar…" Neil had only heard a little about them.
"These are in a sense pets, only a very few beasts leave behind such a stone.
They are completely loyal to you and would follow all of your orders, and there isn't a restriction on how many you can have unlike the army." Nemo explained.
But the word pet is too small to define a familiar.
"Hmm a Diamond ranked one!!" Neil's eyes shone and without wasting a moment he chose the option to summon a familiar right away.
[Used the Diamond Familiar Stone!]
[Summoning Magma Bima!]
Suddenly the cube rose higher into the air, and smoke burst out of it.
"Wait, if the same creature is summoned then won't my territory be destroyed?"
Neil regretted not doing this in the open, he had overlooked that detail in his excitement.
But there wasn't anything he could do now but wait as he took a step back.
[Summoning successful.]
But after a few seconds, as the fog subsided, a small creature softly landed on the ground.
"Hmm?"
It looked more like a baby cat or maybe a lion's cub with those orange fur.
There were two tiny horns above its head.
After landing softly on the floor, the small familiar looked around in confusion until its eyes landed on Neil.
Then letting out a faint purr, it hurried towards Neil and right after reaching his feet, it stretched and fell asleep.
"That's a diamond class familiar?"
Neil observed the creature sleeping over his feet, he was well aware that the Magma Bima was quite lazy.
"Yes, most familiars can change their size easily." Nemo added.
Just to be sure Neil opened its status and indeed it was at the diamond class.
[Choose a title for your first Familiar.]
"I guess I will call you Magnar." Neil didn't try hard to find a name and used the first thing that came to his mind.
『
[Name]: Magnar
[Rank]: 1st Origin Diamond Class
[Master]: Dead Man Walking
[Talent]: Fire Manipulation
[Gene Points]:
(Bronze): 0 / 1,000
(Silver): 0 / 300
(Gold): 0 / 50
(Diamond): 0 / 2
』
"That's good." Neil picked up Magnar, finding it small and rather cute.
Then placing the lazy creature over his shoulder he decided to check out other things.
But just as he turned to leave the Core room, his gaze landed on the Guardian who was still frozen with one of its arms stretched.
"Hmm, is it just going to stay like that?" he questioned.
"Master, a guardian only stays inside the domain, it is like a mindless robot whose sole purpose is protecting this domain and its uh battery…?
It charges in the core room. But if you want, I can integrate with the guardian." Nemo answered.
"And how do I do it?" Looking at the armoured knight, Neil could feel a presence even more terrifying than the Magma Bima.
The guardian was after all at the 1st Origin Mythic Class.
And when his territory reached the next origin, it would directly reach the 2nd Origin Mythic Class, the same as its territory.
"Just touch it." Nemo interrupted his thoughts.
"…" Neil stretched out his hand, but then paused and questioned:
"After we leave this place, and you get connected to the world server, what are the chances of you leaking all my information?
Or others being able to control you, and hence controlling my guardian?"
It is the world server that all races are directly connected to, which has several special functions that Neil is yet to see.
"There is zero chance of that happening. As a member of the Yate family, your authority isn't lower than any of the highest lords on the Zoratian planet, so no one can affect me."
Nemo answered, her tone sounding proud.
Finally Neil touched the guardian's arm, the cold metal brushing against his fingertips.
[Would you like to integrate your Assistant with your guardian?]
"Yes."
The eyes of the guardian brightened up suddenly, before dimming a bit.
"Thank you master, I will do my best to protect this domain and follow all your orders."
Nemo bowed slightly, her sweet voice sounding a bit strange coming from inside that armor.
"Okay now let's check what this Shop and Nest are."
Neil gazed at Nemo for a few moments before making his way out of the core room.
Just as he stepped out, the door behind him closed automatically and a message popped before his eyes.
[You have three days before you would be sent back to the Zoratian Planet.]
[More creatures of the Phantom planet will now be able to enter this realm.]
[No creature could breach into your domain for the next three days.]
Neil paused, reading the messages, he wasn't surprised though.
He knew about this period given to all new lords for preparation, but normally it was just one day.
"I guess, that's the perks of having a mythic domain. Anyway, Nemo what would be the maximum strength of creatures that would be coming now?"
Gazing at the three remaining doors he questioned.
One was his bedroom, so he didn't need to check that.
"Probably diamond? The further you go from your domain the more the number of creatures you encounter, that's how it normally is." Nemo replied.
"Hmm, hasn't a mythic class beast or Phaged ever appeared before?" he questioned further.
"Nothing I can find about it, there is no record related to the word Mythic itself."
Nemo answered after a few moments, going through all her memory.
He gazed back at his new guardian and pondered for a moment, before asking:
"If I can't find a creature at mythic grade, then how am I to evolve to the next origin?
Domain could still be upgraded with more lower class cores but this…" Neil felt a headache, pausing momentarily.
Although getting a mythic domain meant more power, it also brought lots of trouble along.
But if such a domain existed then there must be a way for him to continue to evolve, he would just have to try his best.
And also take care of the ones responsible for all of this, responsible for making Neil go through that hell.
Carrying Magnar over his shoulder, Neil stopped in front of the second door present on the right.
Instantly a window flashed before his eyes.
