As Arthur walked away from the three alphas, he spotted the house helper that Elliot and Ella mentioned in their story. He stared at the person impassively and crooked his finger.
The helper scrambled to come to him, looking pale from fear instead of nausea--which meant the person was a beta. They stopped in front of Arthur, but kept their gaze on the floor.
"You might want to go quickly, but you'll find a call asking for testimony in the next couple of days," Arthur told the person. "I hope you know which side you'll be choosing."
The helper swallowed hard. "Y-yes, Sir..."
Arthur held back from clicking his tongue and resumed his walk, getting out of the house his beloved omega hated very much. He saw Mr. Edwards waiting by the door, holding the handle to close the door behind them.
Suddenly, Arthur felt sheepish and asked quietly. "Did I go overboard?"
"Not at all," Mr. Edwards smiled. "I can still handle everything."
