By the time Arthur finished preparing breakfast, Ian was no longer shivering. Nevertheless, Hannah insisted on helping her grandpapa eat and kept trying to hand-feed Ian until Eugene told her that she should finish her meal first.
The shopping trip had to be cancelled, but Eugene sat his dad, Ella, and Hannah in front of his laptop so they could browse the online marketplace. Ella was tasked as the mouse operator, while Hannah spearheaded the shopping project from her grandpapa's lap.
After all, her papa already told her to pick whatever she thought was good, no matter what her grandpapa said. If Ian were to choose by himself, he would probably end up choosing the plainest, cheapest one because he didn't want to financially burden his son.
Eugene had also asked Ella to make sure his dad chose well, and told her to choose some for herself too--like matching outfits or something--but Ella replied sheepishly that she didn't know much about clothes and the likes, so...
