At first, Eugene planned to go straight to Hannah's school and wait for his daughter before going home. But he got dizzier on the way and ended up asking the guards to take him home. Immediately, he rushed to the master bedroom and locked himself in the closet.
The coat closet where all of Arthur's unwashed jackets were kept. He pulled one of them and draped it over himself, burying his nose in the collar. Gradually, his piercing headache lessened into a dull throb, before vanishing completely. Worried it might return, Eugene pulled one of Arthur's hoodies and wore it before stepping out.
"Are you alright?" Ian, who had been waiting, asked worriedly. The guards didn't tell him where his son had been or who he was meeting, so he almost panicked seeing Eugene like that.
When he saw his son stepping out while hugging Arthur's coat and wearing an oversized hoodie, however, Ian relaxed his shoulders. He might not have an alpha for himself, but he knew an omega's needs.
