Fiora stepped forward. "We divide it now," she said calmly, but loud enough to be heard.
Several heads lifted at once.
The female goose was the quickest to step closer.
Fiora had expected that.
She shifted her gaze elsewhere. "Tya."
From the right, the female cheetah stepped forward. Her body was slender, her movements swift and precise. Her golden eyes were sharp, not easily fooled.
Rivo's mate stood beside Fiora without a word.
"You'll help me," Fiora said.
Tya nodded. "Alright."
A few beastmen exchanged glances.
With Tya standing there, accusations of unfair distribution would not be thrown around so easily. Tya was known to lose her temper quickly if she sensed someone twisting the truth.
Fiora picked up a basket and began counting using the method she had already arranged in her head.
The baskets that had just been nearly empty were filled again through redistribution.
