Chapter 27 - The Festival Touch

Huweol High buzzed with excitement as the school festival approached. Students hurried to set up booths, decorate classrooms, and prepare performances. But as usual, chaos and disorganization threatened to overtake the event.

Hwang Siyeok arrived early, his calm presence already drawing glances. Students whispered, some blushing as they watched him walk past, while teachers paused, sensing a quiet efficiency radiating from him.

Shy Suya caught up, carrying a box of decorations. "Siyeok… you… always seem to know what to do. Even for the festival," she said softly.

He smiled faintly. "I just notice what's needed… and help where I can."

In the supply room, Hwang Siyeok quietly organized materials—art supplies, banners, and food ingredients. Some items were obviously premium, clearly from a generous source, but no one knew who had provided them. Students found it easier to prepare booths; teachers were amazed at how smoothly everything came together.

At one point, a group of students struggled with setting up a heavy stage platform. Without fanfare, Hwang Siyeok appeared, guiding them with calm precision. He showed the correct angles, points of leverage, and timing. The platform was assembled perfectly within minutes.

Nearby, teachers and staff watched, puzzled. "Who is that student? Everything seems to fall into place when he's around," one whispered.

Even rival students who had previously challenged him couldn't help but be impressed. There was no arrogance, no showiness—just mastery, efficiency, and quiet charm.

During the festival, students, teachers, and visitors alike felt the subtle influence of Hwang Siyeok. People smiled more, cooperated better, and the event flowed almost seamlessly. Some speculated about a mysterious benefactor, others about a miracle—but no one guessed the truth: it was Hwang Siyeok, fully human, quietly wealthy, calm, and extraordinary.

Shy Suya walked beside him, marveling. "It's like… you don't even try, but everything works out perfectly. How do you do it?"

He adjusted his bag, calm as ever. "I don't try. I observe. I notice what's needed. Then I help. That's all."

By the festival's end, the school had never looked so harmonious. Decorations were perfect, booths ran smoothly, and even small conflicts had been avoided. And somewhere in the background, Hwang Siyeok walked quietly, influencing, guiding, and helping—all without recognition.

Shy Suya smiled at him. "You really are… extraordinary, Siyeok."

He gave her a faint, understanding nod. "Extraordinary isn't necessary. Being aware and helping is enough."

The festival ended, but the calm, subtle mastery of Hwang Siyeok left its mark on Huweol High—quietly shaping every interaction, every moment, and every heart.
