Chapter 8 Bell-mere’s Last Request
After confirming that every villager and Straw Hat was safe, Kratos exhaled slowly. Only then did he open his system panel.

Kratos allowed himself a small, tired smile. He leaned his weight on the Leviathan Axe—as thick as a tree trunk and buried halfway into the ground—and then his vision blurred.
His knees gave out.
He collapsed immediately.
“KRATOS!” Luffy darted forward and caught him before his head hit the dirt.
Zoro crouched beside them, brows raised. “He’s completely drained. His stamina must’ve bottomed out.” Despite his calm tone, admiration flashed in his eyes—Kratos had destroyed Arlong Park alone.
Sanji clicked his tongue and walked over to inspect the massive axe. “Tch. If this guy passed out swinging this thing, then… who’s lifting it?”
Usopp puffed out his chest. “Hahaha! Leave it to me!”
He strutted toward the Leviathan Axe with a proud smirk.
He grabbed the handle and pulled.
Nothing happened.
He pulled harder. His face turned red… then purple.
Everyone stared.
“Usopp! You okay?!” Luffy rushed over, grabbed the other side of the axe, and tried lifting with him.
The Leviathan Axe budged a *few millimeters*… then slammed back into the ground with a thud that shook the dirt.
“WHAT IS THIS THING MADE OF?!” Usopp wheezed.
One by one, everyone tried to lift it—Zoro, Sanji, Genzo, villagers, even the Fishmen who surrendered.
It took **fifteen people** straining with everything they had just to lift it high enough to carry it to Nami’s house. Even then, the weapon left a deep trail in the dirt wherever it passed.
“Fweee…” someone gasped. “How did Kratos swing this thing around like a stick?! It’s heavier than Zoro’s dumbbells!”
Everyone turned to Zoro.
Zoro shrugged. “Don’t look at me. My dumbbells weigh a ton each. This axe is heavier.”
Nami frowned. “Seriously… who *is* this guy?”
Luffy raised a finger. “Your sister said *you* saved him!”
“H-Huh? Me?” Nami blinked in shock. “When I saved him, he didn’t have white skin, no tattoos… and DEFINITELY not that body!”
Zoro leaned against a wall. “Well… he’s not normal. He said he’s from Olympus.”
“O-Olympus? THE Olympus? The place where gods live?!” Sanji gasped.
The crowd froze. Silence. Then whispers spread like wildfire.
“So he was sent by the gods…”
“He destroyed Arlong Park alone…”
“No wonder he looks like that…”
Belief quickly replaced doubt.
Only Nami and Nojiko looked troubled.
“Hey, what’s wrong with you guys?” Nami asked quietly.
The Straw Hats snapped back to reality.
Usopp swallowed. “U-Umm… Olympus is… in ruins now…”
Gasps spread through the villagers.
Zoro lowered his voice. “Kratos said souls can’t pass on anymore. If Olympus is gone… the dead are disappearing for good.”
A cold fear settled over everyone.
Then—
“Shishishishi! It’s okay!” Luffy laughed. “Kratos said he’ll fix it!”
Somehow, Luffy’s smile melted the dread. His presence alone brightened the group like sunlight. The villagers finally began preparing for the victory banquet.

## **Kratos Awakens**
Hours later, Kratos’s fingers twitched. His eyes opened slowly.
His eyelids felt like they weighed metal plates. His muscles throbbed as if a ship smashed into him.
“Haa… damn axe…” he muttered, rubbing his forehead. His strength backlash had hit him hard.
He looked around—the wooden walls, orange trees outside the window, the smell of tangerines.
“Nami’s house.”
He tried standing. His legs immediately gave out and he fell, face-first onto the floorboards.
A spike of pain shot up his spine. Every muscle seized. His entire body felt like it was turning to stone.
Minutes passed. Then—
**His regeneration activated.**
Muscles loosened. Bones repaired. His breathing steadied.
In less than ten minutes, he fully recovered from an injury that would kill a normal man.
Kratos slowly stood. “System… lottery. Now.”
“**Acknowledged. Initiating 10× Weekly Draw.**”
A Genshin-style golden animation filled his vision.

“Open all.”
The loot list scrolled:

Kratos smirked. “Perfect.”
The tracker would help (even if Zoro might still get lost).
The electromagnetic gun was ideal for Usopp.
Guilmon had potential to become a Royal Knight.
But what made him grin widest was—
**Deidara’s Soul.**
“With this, blowing up Marine Branch 16 will be fun.”
“System. Fuse Deidara’s soul.”
A warm current spread through his chest and limbs. It felt… comforting. Artistic, even.
“System. Show detailed status.”

Feeling refreshed, Kratos walked outside.
He spotted Luffy, Usopp, and Sanji sleeping under a tree, mouths wide open. Kratos chuckled softly.
He continued walking until he reached the statue of Zeus.
There, Nami knelt in front of the faint glowing spirit of Bell-mere.
Bell-mere’s ghost was leaning against her daughter, crying softly. A mother’s love—even in death.
Kratos leaned against a nearby tree. Bell-mere immediately sensed his divine aura and floated toward him.
“You… you’re the man who defeated Arlong’s crew.”
Kratos nodded. “And you must be Bell-mere.”
“You… knew?”
“I am a god. I see souls.” His expression hardened. “Your soul is fading.”
Bell-mere lowered her head. “Yes… I’m weakening.”
“I can help.”
Her eyes widened with desperate hope. “H-How?!”
Kratos lifted one of the giant marbles from his inventory. Faint blue light swirled inside it.
“I have a weapon that can hold and transfer souls… to a new host. Don’t worry. I already have someone suitable.”
Bell-mere trembled. Tears streamed again—this time of relief.
“Thank you… thank you so much…”
Kratos nodded solemnly. “For Nami’s sake.”
He pressed the marble forward. Bell-mere’s soul gently drifted into it, her form shrinking into the crystal sphere.
Her last words echoed softly:
“Please… take care of Nami.”
Kratos closed his fingers around the marble.
“I will.”
