The sun rose gently over Astralis Immortal Academy, casting a golden glow across the wide gates as students from different kingdoms arrived with their parents. Luxurious cars, enchanted carriages, glowing spirit-horses and shadow wolves filled the long entrance path. Excited voices and magical sparks filled the air—today was resumption day, and everyone wanted to make a strong first impression.
Groups of immortals gathered in colorful uniforms according to their clans.
Some with glowing eyes.
Some with shifting shadows.
Some with elemental sparks dancing around their fingers.
Everyone except one.
A black, sleek GLC car rolled to a stop at the center of the academy grounds, drawing the attention of almost everyone. The door opened slowly—and Liana stepped out.
Her hair, still with those mysterious ash-colored tips, glimmered softly under the morning light. She wore a simple but elegant outfit kael picked for her, yet she made it look royal. Instantly, eyes turned. Whispers started.
"Who is she?"
"She's new…"
"Her aura… it's strange."
"She's pretty, but… she doesn't smell like us."
"Is she a hybrid?"
Liana swallowed softly. She wasn't used to crowds staring at her, but she kept her face calm.
She had prepared herself for this moment.
Kael had wanted to escort her personally—actually, he insisted—but she refused, standing firm with her arms crossed earlier that morning.
"Kael, no. If you drop me, everyone will start asking questions. You've already told the principal I'm coming. I have the map. I'll be fine."
He frowned, trying to hide how worried he was.
"Liana… you're my mate. You're not trained yet. What if something happens?"
She touched his cheek gently.
"Nothing will happen. I'll come back to you in the evening. I promise."
So he let her go—reluctantly.
And now, standing alone at the academy entrance, Liana breathed in and held her map tighter.
Inside the academy, the halls were enormous, lined with ancient symbols and floating lanterns. Magic hummed everywhere—alive, pulsing, watching.
Some students walked with their parents. Some posed for pictures. Some inspected newcomers with raised brows.
Liana walked alone.
Her footsteps echoed as she entered the main corridor. She didn't look left or right; she just followed the directions Kael had marked on the map last night.
A Moment That Froze Everyone
As she walked past the fountain square, the air shifted slightly.
A breeze brushed across the courtyard.
The enchanted flowers bent toward her without anyone touching them.
Students gasped.
"What was that?"
"The flowers moved…"
"Who is this girl?"
"Is she controlling wind?"
"No… it felt like the aura from the cave…"
"That's impossible."
Liana didn't even notice the flowers bowing toward her. She kept walking—nervous but determined. She didn't want anyone to know she was Kael's Luna. She just wanted to understand her power first.
Her First Obstacle
She reached the grand staircase when someone stepped in her way.
A tall girl with silver eyes and flaming-red hair smirked at her.
"Well, look what we have here. A new face walking alone. Brave."
Her friends giggled behind her.
Liana simply blinked.
"I'm just trying to get to the principal's office."
Red-hair crossed her arms.
"You don't smell like any clan I know. What are you? A stray?"
Liana clenched her jaw but stayed calm.
Behind them, more students gathered, whispering.
Before Liana could respond, a male voice from the upstairs railing called out:
"Enough, Maya. Let the new student pass."
Everyone turned.
It was Aiden Stormborn, the principal's best apprentice and one of the strongest young immortals in the academy. His gaze locked on Liana with curiosity.
Maya huffed and stepped aside.
"Tch. Whatever."
Liana walked past her without a word, heading toward the office.
But she could feel their eyes on her.
Watching.
Judging.
Guessing.
She whispered to herself:
"I'll get through today… then learn. Then grow stronger."
At the Principal's Office
She knocked softly.
"Come in," the principal's calm voice called out.
The moment she entered, the old man smiled warmly.
"Ah, Liana. Kael's message arrived yesterday. You're welcome here."
She bowed slightly.
"Thank you, sir."
"You'll blend in," he continued, "but remember—you must hide your identity as Kael's Luna until your training is complete."
"I understand."
He handed her a crystal badge and map including her room key
"Welcome to Astralis Immortal Academy, Liana."
Liana took her items and stepped out of the office—ready, nervous, and determined.
A new chapter of danger had just begun.
