"Zylus," Clare continued, "don't take another gamble; this time, you'll fail. You're in enemy territory, you don't have the warmth of fighting back here." She paused, preparing herself to send a message that would reminisce down his spine, "COME BACK!"
Zylus didn't care; he didn't care that this was a risk.
"Clare, let me ask you something," Zylus demanded, stepping forward. "Have I ever failed a gamble?"
She tried thinking real hard, then gave up, "So? What if you didn't? I just met you!"
"Then, now you know," Zylus whispered, "they call me, 'The Sovereign of Uncertainty.'"
"Nobody calls you that!" Clare yelled, "But whatever, I'm not getting into your head at this point. Just find a way to stay alive, you got that?"
"Understood, now, hush up while I think." He lowered his voice calmly, expecting Clare not to listen.
"H-!"
As soon as she was about to scream some utter nonsense into the mic, it cut off. Zylus giggled in the process.
