Inside the Guild Hall, the air still held a faint scent of fresh wood and plaster. Sunlight poured in through the wide windows, illuminating the polished floor and casting long shadows across the tables scattered throughout the space.
The layout mirrored that of the main Guild in Greyvale: a long, sturdy counter stretched along the left side of the entrance, with neatly arranged chairs behind it. Shelves and cabinets lined the wall behind the counter in an orderly fashion.
Across the hall, wooden tables and chairs were set up for adventurers to sit, drink, chat, and debate missions. At the far end stood a large Mission Board firmly mounted against the wall, currently empty but ready to display requests and contracts.
Boren paused just inside the entrance, hands on his hips, taking in his surroundings with a satisfied grin on his round face. His cheeks lifted proudly as he nodded to himself.
