In that instant, the world seemed to disappear.
Only the two of them remained.

Suddenly, a sharp light flashed in Vegeta's eyes.
Without warning, he stepped forward and threw a punch.

The shockwave shook North Kai's Planet violently, as if it might collapse.
When the dust settled, Son Goku stood firm.
He had blocked Vegeta's punch with one hand.
His expression was slightly serious, but he was still smiling.
"So this is your full power, Vegeta?" Goku asked.
Vegeta withdrew his fist calmly. "Stop pretending to be humble. That self-righteous tone of yours hasn't changed in twenty years."
Goku scratched his head awkwardly. "Heh… only you can make me feel like this."
"What, like getting beaten?" Vegeta sneered.
The tension eased slightly, and the others finally exhaled.
Krillin whispered, "So it was just a test…"
North Kai hurriedly stepped forward. "Vegeta, crossing between the living world and the Other World isn't something to take lightly. Why are you here?"
Vegeta's gaze sharpened.
"You already know why. I just wanted to confirm something. Earth in this timeline suffered for fifteen years. Bulma couldn't find New Namek. Gohan and Trunks fought alone. And yet all of you were here. Tell me, Kakarot, was it because you couldn't help… or because you wouldn't?"
The words struck hard.
Goku lowered his head slightly.
"I thought… if I was the cause of so many enemies, maybe my death would prevent more disasters," Goku admitted. "I didn't want Earth to suffer because of me again."
Vegeta's aura flared.
"So you ran. You left everything to a half-grown Gohan and my son. If I hadn't come, they would have died! That was your solution?!"
Silence.
Krillin stepped in. "It wasn't just Goku. We all agreed. We were afraid that reviving recklessly would cause even worse consequences."
Vegeta clicked his tongue.
"Even the Vegeta of this timeline agreed, huh?"
He understood.
That Vegeta had died before becoming a Super Saiyan. Sentenced to Hell. No growth, no redemption.
Perhaps fading away felt easier.
Vegeta exhaled slowly.
"Forget it. I only came for answers. Now I have them."
Goku looked at him seriously. "Seeing you here made me realize something. We thought avoiding action would prevent change. But the world doesn't revolve around us. Even if we did nothing, you still came."
Vegeta nodded.
"This universe is far bigger than you imagine."
The air shifted again.
Battle intent rose.
Goku smiled. "Want to fight?"
"You're still long-winded," Vegeta replied. "I already said I wanted to beat you."
North Kai panicked. "Not here! If you two fight here, my planet won't survive!"
Without another word, Vegeta flew upward toward the sky above Snake Way.
Goku followed.
Above Snake Way
They faced each other in midair.
Auras contained. Not a flicker leaked out.
"Make your move," Goku said calmly.
"Gladly!"
Vegeta vanished.
In an instant, he reappeared before Goku and unleashed a devastating punch.
Boom!!!!!
Goku countered instantly.
Their fists collided.
A violent shockwave exploded outward, shaking Snake Way itself.
Both were pushed back.
But the distance told the truth.
Vegeta was forced back farther.
His eyes narrowed.
[120 million in base form… and that's not even his limit.]
Porunga's ability allowed him to read fluctuating battle power.
Kakarot's base power likely exceeded 200 million.
Twice his own.
So this was the future Son Goku.
Vegeta smirked instead of frowning.
"Good. That's exactly what I wanted."
He tightened his fists.
This wasn't just a reunion.
This was an opportunity.
A battle across twenty years.
