After a long yapping session from phone guy max finally went to look around for a mop to clean the dirty office.
Fortunately a janitor's closet was nearby and took a broom and other stuff to get the dust off the table.
And it took 2 hours for him to finish cleaning up the office and it was now less of a mess and he noticed a pad.
He grabbed it to examine it but just turns out to be the camera system.
After looking at all of the cameras he quickly discarded the cameras and he decided to got to the bathroom since he didn't get the chance to go at his place.
However while he left the office the camera on the animatronics glitched and Bonnie was going down the hallway towards the office.
But when he got there to his own surprise there was no security guard to be seen.
Back to max after taking his leak and washing his hands he flared up his senses and with no results but he felt his spiritual energy adapt to the environment flooded with spiritual energy.
But one thing he had was his instincts and when he was a few steps away from his office he leaned on the wall and peeked through the window and saw Bonnie looking around his office.
Now that was suspicious as hell. But he remembered that the phone guy that the animatronics were allowed to move around at night and if they see him they are gonna stuff him in a suit.
Yeah not happening.
A normal person would have just walked out the door and quit but max however was not a normal person he was an exorcist and he delt with monsters on a daily basis so animatronics coming to kill him wasn't a threat.
Actually this might kill his boredom he doesn't know how good their ai is but at least he wouldn't feel guilty since they try to kill him first.
After a while of Bonnie looking around he finally left and max entered his office and he saw that nothing was taken.
Actually no that's how it looked at first but he saw that the camera pad was no where to be seen.
Someone would panic at the fact that there only means of knowing were the threat is was gone.
But all max did was shrugged it off.
If anything they did him a favor because he was pretty sure that the cameras takes power from the place and he wasn't really planning to use it because he wasn't scared.
He heard then heard a crack sound and he guessed that Bonnie broke the tablet.
He put his feet to the desk and took out his phone to call Miguel and inform him of his status.
After a few rings Miguel picked up.
Miguel: hey kid. Did you get the job?
Max: yeah and honestly it was so easy that it should be a crime.
Miguel: what do you mean?
Max: well all I did was give them some of my info and to not hold fazbear entertainment accountable for anything that happens to me.
Miguel scoffed at that.
Miguel: typical corporate company.
Max: yeah and not to mention the damn pay isn't even worth it.
Miguel: so how's the job?
Max: honestly it was boring at first but-
Max had to stopped because he felt eyes on him and he looked at the dark hallway and he saw Bonnie looking at him.
Max: hold on a second.
He put his phone down and glared at Bonnie which the rabbit felt like he was looking directly at his soul.
Max: fuck off. im in the middle of a conversation. And if you're planning to scare me it ain't working. I saw scarier.
After telling Bonnie off he closed the door at him and got back to his conversation with Miguel.
Max: as I was saying it was boring at first but apparently fazbear let their animatronics walk around and they see me as an endo skeleton or something and they plan to stuff me in a suit.
Miguel: are the animatronics an actual threat?
Max: nah they're just tin cans with shitty ai I can handle them with my eyes closed.
Miguel: okay just make sure that you're careful unless you're parents are gonna give me hell for anything that happens to you.
Max: trust me Miguel I know better. Bye.
After that was over max open the door but he was ready to punch Bonnie if the bastard wanted to jump him.
Luckily for the rabbit he left the door and max looked at his phone and saw that it was 4 am.
He leaned on the door honestly daring the annoying rabbit to walk in the hall.
If the tin cans can actually put up a fight it would be interesting but he's pretty sure that they were mainly for entertainment so they were a lost cause for fighting capabilities.
He decided to sit down his desk and clasped his hands together and closed his eyes to enter a meditation stance.
The haze of spiritual energy in the air was like a fog and he can barely sense the source of it.
He then expanded his own spiritual energy from his body to absorb a bit of the haze.
Max was a black energy user and those with black energy have the ability to absorb energy so he wasn't a special case or anything.
His attempt actually worked but not completely he only absorbed a bit of the haze and there possibly two reasons.
1: because the haze was spreaded into different areas and he might have to go there to clear it.
Or 2: the haze was stubborn as hell and he might have to expand his spiritual energy.
But the second has two problems.
Mainly if he expands his spiritual energy it might have consequences like wrecking the place thanks to his body going into overdrive.
And the other is that more lost souls might get drawn into the place and he rather not deal with getting fired on the first day because he got into a fight with a lost soul.
Before max could continue his thinking spree he felt a hostile presence and he pressed the button to close the door and from the window he saw that it was Bonnie.
Max was annoyed that the damn rabbit interrupted him not once but twice and he was gonna make it clear.
Max: next time you come to my door I'm gonna make sure you don't remember you're own damn name when I'm done with you.
And he meant it he would have entertained this whole thing but he had a job to do and he wasn't gonna let Tim cans get in his way.
Bonnie took the hint and left but the rabbit was standing there longer that max thought.
Because unknown to max felt something change in the air and before he could get max that change in the air stopped him because his soul felt lighter somehow and he was just gawking at max who was mediating instead of panicking.
The rabbit didn't know why but he felt like compared to the other security guards max was different and was more aware and that made him more determined to get him.7
After Bonnie left max checked if it was the end of his shift.
And when he checked his phone he saw that it was 5:57.
That was basically the end of shift and he got up from his desk and left the office.
When he passed the animatronics he had his eyes on Bonnie and the others and got sudden feeling to get back at the rabbit.
He got closer to Bonnie and looked at his crotch and he honestly didn't care if he felt it or not he just wanted get some aggression out.
He wound up his leg and with a bit of spiritual energy to enhance his leg he kicked Bonnie in the non existent groin.
He got on his knees to check the damage and all he saw was a small dent and that satisfied him.
But he glared at Bonnie.
Max: that was light temp me again and I'll do worse than a kick to your nuts. Or actually your crotch.
With that he left the pizzeria and after he left Bonnie fell to his knees and gripped his groin and freedy and chica were a bit confused at why Bonnie actually felt it.
They were scraped before and they felt nothing.
Unknown to them there a rule when it comes to spiritual energy.
When something with a soul get his by spiritual energy it his the souls both the soul and the body but mainly the soul.
That's why Bonnie felt pain from Max's kick.
Back with max when he left the pizzeria he felt the presence of three lost souls near by.
Max let out a sigh and a white snake infinity symbol appeared in the back of his hand and moline appeared in her snake form and she opened her mouth and max got out his black katana to deal with the lost souls.
After getting rid of the 3 lost souls he went back to his house and took off his security guard uniform.
Moline floated beside him while he was getting into his casual clothes.
Moline: so I call that a successful shift don't you think?
Max: it might have been but if I'm being honest I made very little progress to find the souls of the kids.
Moline: well I have a theory.
Max raised an eyebrow in a go on motion.
Moline: maybe the kids are possessing the animatronics.
Max: oh that. I already figured that.
Moline: really? Then why didn't you expelled their souls from the animatronic?
Max: because aside from finding the kids the other priority is to make sure that pizzeria doesn't become a territory and not to mention if we're counting the victims five kids went missing. And so far I saw three and I'm pretty sure they were killed in the same location.
Moline: so what are you playing along with the game of cat and mouse?
Max: they seemed eager to get me so maybe by the next night they might get more desperate to get me and that means that soon enough all five will show up.
Moline: ah I get it now your playing mouse to bait them out. Clever.
Then a sudden thought came to her mind.
Moline: bro that if the kids are possessing the animatronics doesn't that mean that you hit a minor in the nuts.
Max didn't take that comment seriously and he had a response to that.
Max: you and I know damn well that age doesn't matter for child spirits you look like a 12 year old but you're practically have the mind of a teenager. And at this year that kid would have been an adult by now.
Moline was quite with some thought and he wasn't wrong so she just shrugged at this.
Back at the pizzeria the animatronics were planning to step up their game with foxy ready for the hunt and thanks to the security guard not having his cameras foxy can show up when ever he wants.
However non of them knew that max was beyond any normal security guard and one that isn't scared of them
