The screaming in the yellow nursery didn't stop. It actually got a lot louder.
Zarek held his tiny, crying son at arm's length. The fierce Dragon King looked completely terrified. Torian and Caspian held the two screaming girls. They looked exactly as panicked.
"Why are they still yelling?" Kaelen shouted over the noise. He covered his sensitive wolf ears with both hands. "We gave them the warm milk! They drank all of it! They shouldn't be hungry anymore!"
Syris leaned over the middle crib. He wrinkled his elegant nose. "I think I know exactly why."
A totally terrible, sour smell suddenly filled the room. The triplets didn't just want food. They needed a diaper change. All three of them. At the exact same time.
Zarek laid his son down on the soft changing table. He stared at the tiny, clean diaper sitting next to the wipes. "How do you open this thing? Where are the instructions?"
"Just rip the tabs!" Ren suggested loudly.
