The cave wasn't very long.
Even though the group was on high alert watching all directions, the inside of the cave was almost a straight path except for the traps laid at the start.

Inside the cave, a huge chamber came into view. The wide open chamber without even a door was close to a natural cave, but the group was shocked to see a naked woman lying in the middle of the chamber.

"Richard! It's dangerous!"
Richard was already running. The group had no choice but to follow Richard. While they agreed someone needed to be saved, Richard's actions were recklessly foolish.
"How could this...!"
"This is terrible...!"
The blonde woman lying in the middle of the chamber wasn't wearing a single thread of clothing. Her body was covered in green slime goo, but through the transparent slime, her breasts were clearly visible.

Richard cleared his throat awkwardly, then surveyed the surroundings. Sure enough, the cave seemed to definitely be a slime dungeon, and the woman looked like she'd been attacked by slimes.

A green mass was hanging from the ceiling in the darkness. A slime? Richard thought its movements seemed too clumsy for a slime.
"D-danger!"
Mary shouted urgently. Perhaps because of her unique sensitivity, Mary instinctively felt they were in 'danger' and pointed toward the exit.

A green mass dropped at the only passage leading out of the cave. The massive object, easily close to 2 meters tall, had green flesh writhing on it.

Compared to the village hunters, or even the knight beside the troublemaking noble's son who occasionally visited the village and caused trouble, this muscular mass looked way more solid. If not for the belly bulging out below the solid chest muscles, Richard would've mistaken it for a warrior, not a monster.

But the opponent wasn't a warrior—it was a monster. A monster with enough intelligence to set traps for intruders.

Jack screamed and fled. He was busy trying to find another exit somewhere.
"Damn it! This is your fault! If you hadn't wanted to come here!"
Kai shouted with tears of blood. His hands holding the wooden sword were trembling with fear.
"Damn, you pathetic guys! It's just one! Mary!"

With Mary's chant, a silver aura slowly began flowing from Richard's body. Richard cracked his neck left and right and took a deep breath.
"Hmph! Die, you pig-like monster!"
Richard raised his sword high and charged at the monster. The monster stood still holding a wooden stick smaller than its forearm, then took one step forward toward Richard.
Thud!
Richard's wooden sword stabbed the monster's belly. The sword bounced off with magic power and shattered into pieces, and Richard's broken wooden sword flew to the monster's side.
Grin.
Richard unconsciously raised his head. The monster's eyes looking down at him in the darkness were glowing red.
"A demon...?!"
Was it an illusion from fear? Richard couldn't keep his wits about him. Before he could gather his thoughts, the monster grabbed his head with one hand.
"U-uaaaah!!"
The monster lifted Richard into the air, holding only his neck. Richard desperately swung his broken wooden sword at the monster's hand, but he was just exhausting himself. The monster tucked the wooden stick under its armpit and grabbed Richard's torso.
"N-no!"
The moment Mary screamed and thrust her staff forward.
Crack!
Richard's neck turned 180 degrees. Mary dropped her staff seeing Richard's face with his eyes rolled back and dead.
"Ha, haa, hyaaaah?!"
The young man rumored to be the strongest in the village had died. The monster that killed Richard in one blow threw him to the ground and picked up the broken wooden sword Richard had been holding.

Rough breathing filled the chamber. The monster held wooden sticks in both hands and jumped high.

That speed was several times faster than the two young men running away. The young men who followed into the chamber because of Richard's recklessness were all caught by the monster.
The last thing they saw was Richard's broken wooden sword coming down toward their heads.
