Chapter 35 - It’s Fual! I Added Fual!

"You want to open a shop here… what do you mean by that?"

Piran blinked, completely confused.

"Oh—forgot to mention. I picked up a part-time job here.I'm helping an otherworldly supplier sell goods to these members of the Blue Star Federation."

Citra Lili pointed at the small stall nearby.

"You… are selling merchandise? Here?"

Piran's expression instantly became the "Black man question mark" face.

The Obsidian High Priestess—a legendary figure who had lived over two hundred years—working retail?

If word spread, who would believe it?!

"Do you want to reconsider?"Piran tried again, struggling to process this reality.

"It's fine, relax. I won't delay my duties in Mistshroud."

Citra Lili waved dismissively.

"My part-time job is flexible hours. As long as I work forty hours a week, I'm good.If the tribe needs me, I can close the shop anytime."

Seeing she had already made up her mind, Piran could only sigh.Once he confirmed she was really unharmed, he took the tribesmen and left.

"Hey! Oloron! Don't go yet!More Federation members are arriving!Come help your grandma!"

Citra Lili called out.

"Yes, Grandma."

After nearly losing her today, Oloron didn't dare defy her at all.

As time passed, more players teleported into the Mistshroud area to restock.Oloron's attention was quickly drawn to several Farmer players opening new farmland and planting crops.

"Sunburst Chrysanthemums need strong sunlight—your fields don't get enough for them."

"Honeydew Berries and Lizardfruit Palm need moist soil—your land's too dry."

"Scorchpetals and Bitterseed aren't picky, but planting these two together? They'll never survive…"

As someone who grew up in Natlan's wilderness, watching these players massacre perfectly good crops was painful.Eventually he marched right out of the shop to correct them directly.

"What the… where did this NPC come from? Why is he teaching us how to farm?"

"He doesn't even look like a Farmer profession NPC!"

"Kid, go play somewhere else! You think you know more about agriculture than me?!I farm in real life!"

Oloron was shooed away—yet he didn't get angry.Instead he went to the water source, brought back a big basin of water, and poured it directly onto the Honeydew Berry and Lizardfruit Palm plots.

"Hey!! What are you doing?!If my seeds die, I swear—!"

A Farmer player rushed over.

"Wait—hold up!The plants' Growth Status just switched to Healthy! It was only Average before! And—wait—the Growth Time just shortened by ten hours?!"

Another Farmer player cried out.

"You guys… how can you play Farmer and still be this arrogant?"

WaiBiBaBu walked over from the direction of the Bio-Energy Base.

"An NPC native explains the plants' conditions, and you don't listen?Do you know how long it would take us to figure this out by ourselves?!"

"Boss… you're here."

"We just saw how this NPC was dressed…We thought he was messing with us…"

"Don't make excuses. I know you lot too well."

WaiBiBaBu sighed.

"Just because we succeeded with the farmland at Bloomfeather Outpostand got a ton of construction rewards, you've all started floating, huh?"

"Let me remind you—we haven't even harvested the first batch of crops yet.Act like this again, and get out of my farming squad.Go find a plot of land to suffer on your own."

"Boss, we were wrong! Don't kick us out!"

"Yeah! Being a Farmer alone is impossible!Mass farming is too much workload!"

"Plus, shop seeds are limited—to grow regional plants, we must dig for wild seeds! It's dangerous alone!"

"I heard yesterday a lone Farmer went digging for seedsand got impaled by a charging Flower-Stalker…from behind…They said the corpse looked tragic…"

"Glad you remember.Farmers need unity the most. Now apologize to this NPC!"

WaiBiBaBu ordered.

"We're sorry, young sir!!!"

The unified apology stunned Liang Chuan, who had been resting nearby.

He rubbed his eyes.

What was this situation?Players apologizing to an NPC en masse? This felt like waiting at a crosswalk cushioned by love—utterly surreal.

Oloron didn't respond. He simply held up a sprouting potato and asked:

"This seems to be a crop from Mondstadt. It might not adapt to Natlan's soil. Are you sure it can grow here?"

"Are you kidding? It's a potato!People grew it on the moon!Natlan's nothing!"

A player waved dismissively.

"Shut up."

WaiBiBaBu glared at him, then turned solemnly to Oloron.

"To be honest…we've had problems with potatoes. No matter how I choose the plot, the Growth Status only reaches Healthy at best.

But the highest tier is Perfect.A Perfect crop has amazing qualityand grows in one-third the normal time.I just don't know what's missing."

Oloron paused, then thought for several seconds.

Finally he said:

"Have you considered…adding fual to the soil?"
