A monster this huge should've always dropped mountains of parts."
He muttered to himself.
"Quit staring—
hurry up and turn in the materials!"
SunsetWarGod urged.
"Boss Liu,
you paid for the goods,
so you test it first."
He passed the purple Chaos Core to ArrowHeart and pointed at a wooden hut.
"That's the warehouse.
Deposit materials there to complete the objective.
Main Quest rewards will distribute automatically."
ArrowHeart nodded and waddled toward the warehouse,
struggling under the heavy core.
The others didn't dare to help—
they didn't want to steal experience that would mess with data.
The moment ArrowHeart dropped the Chaos Core inside—
DING! DING! DING!
Level-up sounds blasted in his ears.
The single Chaos Core shot him from level 1 straight to level 13.
He immediately unlocked the Archer's level-10 skill:
[Triple Shot]
– fires 3 arrows at once
– each arrow deals 150% damage
– NO accuracy penalty
This was a massive damage spike.
"Holy—
Already level 13?!"
SunsetWarGod gasped.
"I've been turning in materials for TWO DAYS
and I'm only barely past that!"
"Next! Who goes?"
"We need SpecialGrace at 10 ASAP."
ChickenWaterBubble said.
"He's our main carry for both PvE and PvP."
SpecialGrace didn't refuse—
he carried five Chaos Circuits into the warehouse.
Moments later, he returned:
"Level 10.
5 circuits brought me to level 10 + 65% exp."
"What's your level-10 skill?"
"Necromancer basic—
[Skeleton Revival]."
He explained:
"Level 1 Skeleton:
– Constitution 10
– Strength 10
– Agility 10
– Spirit 5
Number and stats increase as the skill levels."
"Can you micro-control them?"
"No idea yet.
Need a corpse to test.
If I can't micro, I'll go pure spell-burst."
ArrowHeart frowned.
"That'd waste your mechanical skill, though."
And he was right.
SpecialGrace was called an "操作怪" for a reason.
Other necromancers:

SpecialGrace:
individually micro-controls every single skeleton
as if they were elite soldiers in a strategy game.
His skeletons were trained military units.
Other players' skeletons were… villagers with sticks.
Using the remaining materials,
the squad instantly boosted another 3 players to level 10.
Now they had six players with level-10 skills,
all wearing optimal early gear.
A ten-man squad like this
could probably wipe an entire Hilichurl village effortlessly.
"Alright.
Levels handled.
Time to enter LOOT MODE."
SunsetWarGod's eyes gleamed.
"Right now, the Bio-Energy Base is only level 2.
Workshop gear and shop gear are capped at ★★ star.
But—
we've fought some overworld NPCs…
and they dropped this."
He lifted the Ice Gunner's Cryo Armcannon.
A ★★★ weapon.
"Meaning—
to break the star-rating limit,
we MUST challenge advanced overworld enemies."
ArrowHeart nodded.
"Exactly my thought."
SunsetWarGod grinned even wider.
"I used credits to buy intel.
There are Fatui camps deeper in the Ember-Mist region!
We must wipe them out before other players get strong enough.
While everyone else is stuck with ★★ gear…
WE build a full ★★★ set."
"Then we snowball.
Forever ahead.
Forever overgeared."
In SunsetWarGod's eyes—
the Fatui…
were no longer enemies.
They were walking treasure chests.
