Chapter 1 - Where it all began

"Well isn't this just interesting sister", a young male voice just reaching teenage hood could be heard in the dimly lit room."what is it?" A young female voice still immature answered interest piqued. "This wonderful story, do you want to hear it?" The male answered, a smile could be heard in his voice. "Do enlighten me brother" the young female answered. "Well then, do be patient and not interrupt me so as I tell you were this story begins....."

Long ago past the green valleys, through the lush forests and over the high mountains was a kingdom known for its noble acts, true and without a single rumour of stirring up conflicts with it's neighboring countries. The king of this kingdom believed not in violence but the peace and humanity in his people. Truly so the people shared his beliefs as those very beliefs kept them alive for nearly 30 years without conflict and war. Trade among it's neighboring nations was as smooth as the very river they use for transportation and their people welcomed diverse cultures from all over.

Unfortunately like how every fairy tale goes the queen tragically lost her life giving birth to her child, the next heir of the kingdom known as Roswell. The child was born under the shinning light of the emerald moon, stars twinkling like sapphires, the child was believed to be a saint and with the death of her mother, the church had come to the conclusion to be, the queen sacrificed her life bringing this gift upon their kingdom. The name bestowed upon her was Hildegard Chorale, Fifth princess of the kingdom of Roswell, daughter to King Tristan B Chorale and the late Queen Olivia V Chorale.

Lady Hildegard under the care of the palace people and her father grew up to be a calm and energetic child, capturing the hearts of all those she met. Sometimes she'd roam the streets of her kingdom being acquaintaned by all that crossed her path, growing up the kingdom's beloved national treasure. How foolish it was so because on one of her expeditions the princess got kidnapped. Devasted the king tried to search for her, high and low, rading houses, taking on interrogations but in the end it was all futile. The king heartbroken from losing his beloved heir was overcome with sickness, he tragically died within two years and since then the kingdom could not be left without a ruler, the first prince was appointed on the throne. He unfortunately did not last as his reign was short lived to only reaching up to eight moons. The throne lay without a ruler for quite sometime all due to the fact that anyone who sat on it, be the second prince, third princess, fourth prince and even the second princess met their tragic fates, some by poison and others by assassination. Only the third prince now the current ruler survived and reigned over the country. The people believed him to to be a warrior that tamed the throne and truly deserved to be seated there, long forgotten was their beloved princess, long forgotten was their saintess, long forgotten all it truly was.
