Chapter 19 - Chapter 19 — The Vanishing Lightning

High above Philadelphia, black clouds churned unnaturally.

Dr. Thaddeus Sivana soared through the air, his body surrounded by sickly violet lightning as the Seven Deadly Sins whispered inside him.

Their voices echoed like distant thunder:

"WE FELT IT…"

"THE CHAMPION..."

"FIND HIM…"

"KILL HIM…"

Sivana's left eye pulsed violently as he followed the trail of divine magic.

The presence of the new Shazam Champion was overwhelming — like staring directly into the sun.

A beacon of pure, ancient power.

He raced toward it, breaking through clouds, tearing across the sky.

"WHERE HE IS " Sivana growled.

The Sins hissed angrily:

"THE NEW CHAMPION BE IN PHILADELPHIA…"

"THE MAGICAL ENERGY HERE IS HIGHER…"

"THE LIGHTNING POWER STILL LINGERS HERE…"

Sivana's grin widened.

"So the Wizard chosen one is here ?"

He descended toward highest building in Philadelphia .

He raised his glowing hand to attack the city —

And then—

The aura of champion vanished.

The divine presence all disappeared.

Like it was never there.

Sivana froze in midair.

"…What?"

He scanned the city, eyes glowing, aura flaring.

The Sins screamed inside him:

"WHERE DID HE GO?!"

"IMPOSSIBLE!"

"HE WAS NEAR —WE FELT HIM!"

"HE VANISHED FROM OUR SENSES!"

Sivana clenched his teeth.

"No… no, no, NO!"

He descended lower, eyes darting across the city.

The magical presence was COMPLETELY gone.

"This cannot be.

A Champion cannot hide his presence—

NOT FROM US!"

His left eye pulsed in fury.

The Sins roared in confusion:

"HE IS NOT IN THE SKY…"

"NOT IN THE EARTH…"

"HE DISAPPEARED…"

Sivana's jaw tightened.

"No one can hide from the Seven Deadly Sins…"

He scanned again.

But aura if champion vanished

It was as if the Champion…

never existed.

Sivana trembled with anger.

"WHERE ARE YOU?!"

His scream echoed across the sky.

But still—

Nothing has found.

.....

Unware of sivana approaching presence.

Arin sat between Gwen and MJ at the cafeteria table, enjoying lunch with them.

Gwen nudged his arm gently.

"Arin… you really scared us earlier."

MJ leaned forward, eyes soft but sharp.

"Yeah at least you can tell us before going ."

Arin gave a small, reassuring smile.

"sorry I should have told you, I just went to the bathroom."

MJ raised an eyebrow.

Gwen pouted slightly.

But both girls eventually sighed and let it go.

As the girls chatted about the exchange program, Arin listened quietly, responding with his usual calm .

Meanwhile…

something extraordinary was happening inside him.

The power of Shazam —

the lightning of Zeus,

the strength of Hercules,

the speed of Mercury —

all of it was silently swirling inside his veins.

But the aura?

The golden divine presence that every magical being could sense?

Gone.

Perfectly suppressed.

Perfectly hidden.

Perfectly sealed.

Arin felt it clearly.

His transformation back to his normal body didn't just change his appearance…

It erased his magical presence.

No god could sense him.

No sorcerer could detect him.

No demon could track him.

Not even the Seven Deadly Sins.

He exhaled silently.

"This power really is special…"

The Wizard's final words echoed in his mind:

"You retain your true form… because your body is capable of holding god-level power."

He glanced at his own hand, then the girls.

No one around him had the faintest idea he was now one of the strongest beings on the planet.

And that was good.

Because right now—

High above Philadelphia city , Dr. Sivana hovered in the air, eyes burning with frustration, scanning the area for the divine presence he sensed earlier.

Nothing.

Not a spark.

Not a tremor.

Not a single scrap of Shazam magic.

Sivana clenched his fists.

"How…

did the Champion vanish?"

The Seven Sins screamed inside his body.

"HIDDEN…"

"HE IS INVISIBLE TO US…"

"HE SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO DO THIS…"

"WE CANNOT TRACK HIM…"

Sivana snarled.

"That boy…

the Wizard's new champion…"

His eye pulsed violently.

"I WILL FIND YOU."

He shot a blast of purple lightning into the clouds—

BOOOOM—!!

Storm thundered above the city.

But no matter how hard he searched…

Champion's aura was gone from the world.

Erased.

Hidden perfectly.
