Chapter 36 - Chapter 36 — Return of the Champion

Smoke still curled from the broken streets.

Sivana lay unconscious on the cracked pavement—

his corrupted power leaking out like dying embers.

Arin descended slowly, lightning fading around him, boots touching the ground with a soft thud.

His eyes narrowed.

Because he know that killing seven Sins are never possible because unless he eliminate every emotions present in human beigh they can … never truly die which was unrealistic so wizard sealed.....so also wanted to seal them.

Thinking this he knelt beside Sivana's limp body.

Arin pressed his glowing palm over Sivana's cracked eye.

"Solomon's Judgment…

Open."

Magic symbols formed around his hand—

ancient, golden, and powerful.

Sivana screamed even in unconsciousness as the corrupted orb was forcibly pulled from his right eye.

With a sickening snap—

CRACK—!!

A glowing crystal orb floated into Arin's palm.

Inside it, swirling like trapped smoke—

The Seven Deadly Sins.

But the orb held firm.

Sivana's body instantly withered—

his powers drained, his eye normal.

He became nothing more than a powerless man again.

Arin exhaled.

"It's over."

But not finished.

He lifted the orb—

Lightning wrapped around him—

And with a flash—

Arin teleported.

---

To the Cave of Eternity

In a blink, he arrived inside the ancient chamber.

Massive statues of old gods watched in silence.

The air hummed with forgotten magic.

Arin felt something stir inside him—

Respect and Responsibility

He walked toward the pedestal where the orb was once kept.

With both hands, he placed the glowing sphere back into its rightful socket.

The moment it touched—

KAAAAA—THOOM!!

A massive burst of divine energy exploded outward.

Chains of golden lightning wrapped around the orb, sealing it with ancient runes.

The sins screamed one final time—

Then fell silent.

Arin stepped back, breathing heavily.

"It's done."

He looked around the cave with some admiration because he knew this cave contains all magical things, weapon, book and even magical door which can open into different world.

Now, he was the master of the Cave of Eternity.

And its guardian.

But there was no time to think or explore the cave because people were waiting for him.

He vanished in a flash of lightning.

---

Back on Earth, chaos spread like wildfire—

From excitement.

News cameras replayed the battle nonstop.

Photos and blurry footage of Shazam went viral.

Every city in the world talked about him.

Government Reactions

S.H.I.E.L.D., Secret Service, CIA, Interpol—

all scrambled for intel.

Nick Fury slammed his hand on a desk.

"Find me everything you can on this 'champion.'

NOW."

But every agent returned with the same answer:

> "No identity found.

Unknown origin.

Unknown species.

Unknown everything."

World Leaders

The U.N. emergency meeting lasted all night.

"We must contact him!"

"He could destroy nations—!"

"Or save them…"

"We need to monitor him."

"We need to FIND him."

But they had nothing .

---------

The Vasquez house felt unbearably silent.

Even the children didn't speak.

Every breath felt heavy.

Every second felt like an hour.

Mary sat near the door, her knees pulled to her chest, trembling.

Gwen paced back and forth, wiping her tears again and again.

MJ stared at the screen, fists clenched so tightly her knuckles were white.

Rosa stood closest to the door, hands pressed to her heart, whispering prayers she didn't even realize she remembered.

Darla cried softly.

Freddy muttered, "He's okay… he's okay…" over and over.

Billy stared at the floor, guilt eating him alive.

Everyone watched the TV as the reporters announced:

"The hero known as Champion has disappeared after Destroying the threat."

Disappear?

Disappear where?

Mary sobbed.

"Arin… please… come back…"

Gwen whispered shakily:

"He promised… he promised he'd be safe…"

MJ's lips trembled.

"He better not die on us… I'll kill him if he does…"

Rosa closed her eyes.

"Arin… please… come home…"

A Soft Knock Breaks the Silence

Knock. Knock.

Everyone froze.

Every heart stopped.

Rosa slowly turned the doorknob with trembling hands—

The door opened—

And standing there…

Was Arin.

In his normal clothes.

His normal form.

A tired smile on his face.

"I'm home."

For a heartbeat, no one moved.

They were too stunned.

Then—

Mary rushed to him first, tears streaming.

"ARIN—!!"

She threw her arms around him, sobbing into his chest.

Gwen followed, grabbing him from the side.

"You idiot—!! I thought— I thought—!"

MJ didn't even hold back—

she hugged him from behind, burying her face into his shoulder.

"You almost gave me a heart attack—!"

Freddy jumped on his leg.

Darla hugged his waist.

Even Billy tried to hide his tears.

The whole family wrapped around him like a shield—

As if touching him proved he was alive.

Arin exhaled softly and hugged them all back.

"I'm okay…

I kept my promise."

Then Rosa stepped forward slowly.

Her eyes were overflowing with tears.

When she finally reached him—

She didn't hug him.

She grabbed his face with shaking hands—

And kissed him.

The whole room gasped.

Mary.

Gwen.

MJ.

Everyone froze, stunned.

But Arin didn't pull away.

He didn't act embarrassed.

He kissed her back gently, warmly—

holding Rosa's waist with steady hands—

like a man who refused to hide how he felt.

Because he wasn't cowardly.

Because he wasn't ashamed.

Because Rosa was his.

And he was hers.

Rosa pulled away slightly, breathing shakily.

"Arin… my Arin…

You're alive… thank god… thank god…"

He brushed her tears away with his thumb.

"I'm not going anywhere."

Mary stared, stunned and breathless—

But instead of anger, she felt…

a strange calm.

Because Arin had been honest with her.

Gwen blushed furiously and looked away.

MJ crossed her arms , look at little jaleous as she guess something is between them but seeing this she still feel a little hurt but at aleast he is first one to kiss him, thinking this she less uncomfortable.

And Rosa leaned her forehead on Arin's chest, crying softly.

"You… scared me so much…"

Arin wrapped an arm around her back, holding her gently.

"I'm sorry.

I didn't want to…

but I had to do my duty ."

Mary wiped her face.

"Arin… we're just glad you're home."

Gwen nodded.

"Don't ever do that alone again."

MJ smacked his arm lightly.

"If you die, I will kill you. Understood?"

He chuckled softly.

"Understood."

Then he looked at all of them—

Mary. Gwen. MJ. Rosa.

The people he cared for more than anything.

"I'm here.

And I'm not leaving any of you."

They hugged him again—

together this time.

And for a moment—

the world outside didn't matter.
